CHRISTIANS ABODE HEAVEN OR HELL?

Allah says: “Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good, they have their reward with their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve”–(Qur’an 2:62 also 5:69).
One Christian try to use this verse as argument against Muslims, claiming that Allah says Christians will go to heaven (that Christianity is a true religion).

But this verse refers to Christians who follow Christ –that Christ, as he taught and as Allah revealed, was messenger only for Jews who are to subsequently follow the Comforter, Ahmad/ Mohammad.
This verse is not about Christians who follow Trinity and sonship of God –which ‘sonship of God’ Allah exposes as paganism these doctrines are blasphemy:

–Certainly they disbelieve who say: Allah, He is the Messiah, son of Mary. And the Messiah said: O Children of Israel, serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, Allah has forbidden to him the Garden and his abode is the Fire. And for the wrongdoers there will be no helpers.”
-“Certainly they disbelieve who say: Allah is the third of the three. And there is no God but One God. And if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement will surely befall such of them as disbelieve”-(Qur’an 5:72-73).

-“And to warn those who say: Allah has taken to Himself a son. They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers. Grievous is the word that comes out of their mouths. They speak nothing but a lie”–(Qur’an 18:4-5).
-“And they say: The Beneficent has taken to Himself a son. Certainly you make an abominable assertion! The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent! And it is not worthy of the Beneficent that He should take to Himself a son. There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes to the Beneficent as a servant”–(Qur’an 19:88-93).
-“And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. These are the words of their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before. Allah’s curse be on them! How they are turned away!”–(Qur’an 9:30).

Christians who follow Trinity and sonship of God (which includes original/inherited sin and vicarious atonement) are blasphemers; and blasphemers are destined to Hell not to Heaven.
Trinity was invented by the Church 324 years AFTER Jesus and ‘sonship of God’ and original/inherited sin and vicarious atonement were devised by Paul (see Home page for details).

Jews and Christians prior to Prophet Mohammad who followed their respective prophet will receive their reward from Allah.    Jews and Christians who died without knowing about Mohammad/Islam, as well as Jews and Christians who are living and do not know about Mohammad/Islam, even though they may have been misled into following unGodly doctrines, will have their “reward,” Allāh pleasing, (as they could not be charged as having rejected Mohammad/Islam).

As Islam is the only Divine-revealed religion and is superior to all religions –no religion can be shown to be equal with or superior to Islam– whoever rejects Islam/Mohammad is going to Hell–(Cf. Qur’an 3:85; 9:113; 30:30. Muslim, Vol. 1, # 284).
Jews and Christians who follow Islam/Mohammad would be rewarded twice–(Qur’an 28:54).

Regarding the Sabians. Muhammad Ali:
“The Sabians are mentioned in the Holy Qur’an on three occasions only, here and in 5:69 along with the Jews and the Christians, and in 22:17 with these and the Magians. According to En. Br., the Sabians were a semi-Christian sect of Babylonia, closely resembling the so-called “Christians of St. John the Baptist”. The probable derivation of the name is traced to an Aramaic root, and the root meaning is said to be those who wash themselves, and this is said to be corroborated by Arab writers applying to them the name of al-Mughtasilah. The idea that the Sabians were star-worshippers is rejected; the error, it is said, being due to the pseudo-Sabians of Harrian, who chose to be known by that name in the reign of Al-Mamun, in 830 A.D., in order to be classed as the “People of the Book”. The commentators hold different opinions regarding them, most of them agreeing that they are representatives of a religion between Judaism and Christianity, based on the doctrine of unity, but also maintaining worship of angels. The majority do not include them in the Ahl al-Kitab (AH).”

About Allah’s saying in Qur’an 9:30: “And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. These are the words of their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before. Allah’s curse be on them! How they are turned away!”
Muhammad Ali comments:

“That there was a sect among the Jews who raised Ezra to the dignity of godhead, or son of God, is shown by Muslim historians. Qastalani says, in the Kitab al-Nikah, that there was a party of Jews who held this belief. Nor did the Jews deny this allegation. The Qur’an, too, mentions it only here in connection with the Christian doctrine, never blaming the Jews directly in the many controversies with them in the earlier chapters, and this shows that the Jewish nation as a whole was not guilty of entertaining this belief.

Another explanation of the statement made here is the free use of the word son. Elsewhere the Qur’an says of the Jews and the Christians that they call themselves the sons of Allah and His beloved ones (5:18), the meaning only being that they considered themselves special favourites of the Divine Being. Hence the belief regarding Ezra may be interpreted in the same light, for there is clear evidence that the Talmudists used very exaggerated language concerning him. Among the prophets of Israel, Ezra was specially honoured. In Rabbinical literature Ezra was considered “worthy of being the vehicle of the law, had it not been already given through Moses”. “He is regarded and quoted as the type of person most competent and learned in the law. The Rabbis associate his name with several important institutions” (Jewish Encyclopaedia).

We are here told that the Christian doctrine that Jesus Christ was the son of God was borrowed from earlier pagan people. Recent research has established the fact beyond all doubt. In fact, when St. Paul saw that the Jews would on no account accept Jesus Christ as a messenger of God, he introduced the pagan doctrine of sonship of God into the Christian religion, so that it might become more acceptable to the pagans.”

It is worth noting here Qur’an 9:31 which is relevant to the above topic: “They take their doctors of law and their monks for lords besides Allah, and (also) the Messiah, son of Mary. And they were enjoined that they should serve one God only —there is no god but He. Be He glorified from what they set up (with Him)!”
Muhammad Ali comments:

“Most of the commentators agree that it does not mean that they took them actually for gods; the meaning is that they followed them blindly in what they enjoined and what they forbade, and therefore they are described as having taken them for lords, on account of attaching to them a Divine dignity. It is related in a hadith that, when this verse was revealed, ‘Adi ibn Hatim, a convert from Christianity, asked the Holy Prophet as to the significance of this verse, for, he said, we did not worship our doctors of law and monks. The Holy Prophet’s reply was: Was it not that the people considered lawful what their priests declared to be lawful, though it was forbidden by God. Hatim replied in the affirmative. That, the Prophet said, was what the verse meant (Tr. 44:9; IJ). Muslims who accord a similar position to their pirs or saints are guilty of the same error.”
