There are instances where the Qur’an differs from the Bible, such as the Bible stating that Jesus was born in a stable whereas Allāh revealed in His Qur’an that Mary had birthing pains by a date-palm (though it is not necessarily so that Mary gave birth by the palm tree)–(Luke 2:7; Qur’an 19:22-23). In such matters where the Qur’an differs with the Bible, the Christian argues that the Biblical account is to be taken as correct; seeing that the Bible preceded the Qur’an. But age/antiquity is no guarantee of authenticity or accuracy.

   Also, Christians make all kinds of fancy claims from the Bible in their effort to prove that Jesus was greater than Mohammad. However, theBIBLE, not only contains “monumental errors” and was “tampered with” as Christians have admitted –a Book from God would not have “errors”– the Books of the Old Testament “were written in several languages over a period of more than nine hundred years, based on oral traditions;” and the Gospels were written more than a hundred years after Jesus; and are “according to” Matthew, Mark, Luke and John –not according to God or Jesus– who “were not eye-witnesses of the data they recorded” and is the King James “Version” –not God’s or Jesus’ Version. And, initially Jesus’ teachings were transmitted “orally” and the current four Gospels did not acquire official status until “170 A.D.” (some 140 years after Christ) and not until “excisions” were made from the prevailing “abundance of literature” on Jesus and after numerous other “Gospels were suppressed.”

So unless Christians have the original HEBREW text of the Old Testament and the original HEBREW or ARAMAIC text (as Jesus was said to have spoken Aramaic) of the Gospels to support their claims their submissions are useless. Judge Julie would not blink twice to throw such “hearsay” materials and its submitter(s) out of Court.

JESUS ASCENDED TO HEAVEN

MOHAMMAD DID NOT

   1. Christians claim that Jesus raised himself from the dead and ascended to heaven and Mohammad did not, therefore Jesus is greater than Mohammad.

Contrary to Christians claim, Jesus did NOT raise himself from the dead. Christianity is based on the doctrine that Jesus is the son of God who came to die for the sins of mankind. But Jesus is not the son of God; he is only “CALLED” SON OF GOD–(Luke 1:35).

   As Jesus is onlyCALLEDson of God there is no vicarious atonement seeing that vicarious atonement is dependent upon the existence of a son of God and there is/was NO son of God! And as there is NO son of God then ipso facto INHERITED SIN and vicarious atonement crumble into a pile of rubbish (which they are).

   Son of God is only an epithet of honor: “the Lord came unto Nathan, saying, Go and tell my servant David….I will be HIS FATHER, and he shall be MY SON”–(2 Samuel 7:4, 5, 14).

   –Peacemakers, which would include atheists and women, are children of God(Matt. 5:9);

   -Righteous are sons of God–(Romans 8:14; 1 John 3:1-2; thus, Jesus’ disciples, presumably righteous, are sons of God);

   -God even have “lusty” sons who came to earth to take the daughters of man for wives–(Genesis 6:1-2).

   –Even Satan is son of God–(Job 1:6).

   -There was/is NO INHERITED SIN.

   If Jesus had the power to raise himself from the dead (and if he came to die for the sins of others) it is astounding that he would pray, and pray with great sweating, in the garden of Gethsemane to be spared from death; and to indict God from the cross as having “forsaken” him.

(That Jesus had power to raise himself from the dead and that God sent Jesus to be “crucified” for sinners and for Jesus to pray pitifully to be spared from this glory and to indict God as having “forsaken” him must be the blackest degree of disgrace exampled by a son of God in Scriptural history. A soldier who refuses to fight in an illegal and unjust war is hounded and charged and jailed as a deserter and a disgrace. Consider then, the “son of God” having power to raise himself from the dead and entrusted with the lofty honor of dying for the sins of the world; for him to pray to tears to be spared this glory and to charge God as having forsaken him must be the “Mother” of all disgraces).

   2. That Jesus rose into heaven. The verses of Mark 16:9-20 have been shown to be forgeries in the BIBLE.

   Notably, Enoch and Elijah also ascended to heaven and they did not “die” before ascending–(Genesis 5:24; Hebrews 11:5; 2 Kings 2:1, 11).

   The Zoroastrian’s Arta/Artay Viraf is also said to have ascend-ed to heaven. And Buddha also is said to have ascended to heaven and will return to restore the world to happiness. (If Buddha and Jesus were to return to lord the world the two might have to battle for supremacy. Bets on the winner, anyone?).

   Jesus said IF he goes to heaven: “And I, IF I be lifted up from the earth”–(John 12:32).Jesus is not certain whether he was going to heaven. Had Jesus been certain he would said “WHEN” or “AFTER” “I be lifted up.”

   And since Jesus did not return to those whom he said will still be alive when he returns Jesus certainly did not go to heaven and is lost somewhere in space or have lied to the people that he will be returning or he did not utter those words: “Verily I say unto you, there shall be SOME STANDING HERE, WHICH SHALL NOT TASTE DEATH, TILL THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN HIS KINGDOM”–(Matt. 16:28. Whether the “Son of man” is Jesus in his alleged SECOND COMING or the Prophet Mohammad it must be the miracle of creation that some of Jews have not died and are still standing there waiting till whenever for Jesus to return or was standing there for six hundred years for the advent of Mohammad).

   Again, Jesus says whoever calls someone: “Thou fool” or “You fool” is a candidate for Hell-Fire: “But I say unto you… whoever shall say, THOU FOOL, shall be in DANGER OF HELL FIRE”–(Matt. 5:22). Yet Jesus calls the Jews “Ye FOOLS and blind”–(Matt. 23:17); thus, by Jesus’ own pronouncement Jesus is in Hell.

   Jesus died and was buried on earth (See JESUS-18 MISSING YEARS and JESUS BIRTH).

   Mohammad did go to heaven and even before his death–(Qur’an 53:1-18).

   3. The Christian claims that Jesus’ Birth, Life, Death, and Resurrection were foretold by numerous prophets and he gives Proverbs 30:4 as reference.

If Jesus is God, God foretold his Birth, Life, Death, and Resurrection. Magnificent! Astound-ingly magnificent that God foretold his birth).

That the Bible contains prophecies and that the coming of Jesus was foretold are not surprising. Considering that Allāh, God, rai-sed prophets/messengers among all people and gave them guid-ance (and one common message that There is no God but He; He alone is to be worshipped).

   That Jesus’ Birth, Life, Death were foretold. There is nothing unique about Jesus being foretold. Jacob foretold the coming of Shiloh hundreds of years before Jesus was foretold–(Genesis 49:10); Moses foretold the coming of another prophet like him–(Deuteronomy 18:18-19); even Jesus foretold the coming of another Comforter who will bring “all truth” and “abide for ever”–(John 14:16; 16:13). (See JESUS FORETOLD).

   However, even if Jesus’ advent was foretold by the trees yet this would not make Jesus GOD or SON OF GOD or vicarious atoner or that mankind INHERITED SINfrom Adam/Eve. These cardinal doctrines of Christianity have no Divine foundation, no prophe-tic foundation, no logical foundation, and are repugnant to rea-son; these doctrines are assumed and propagated as Divine truths. (See CHRISTIANITY-LIES, EVIL, HATE).

   Proverbs 30:4 reads: “Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?”

   While Christians claim this statement is about Jesus they yet have to explain how they came to this conclusion.

   It is rather strange that Proverbs would question who has ascended to heaven and what was his son’s name when, as noted above, the Bible/God states that Elijah and Enoch ascended to heaven (and these writings of Genesis and Kings referring to Enoch and Elijah preceded Proverbs by centuries).and that God has a legion of sons beginning from Adam:

Adam is son of God–(Luke 3:38);

            -Solomon is son of God–(1 Chr. 28:6);

            -David is begotten son of God–(Psalm 2:7).

   So which son is Proverbs talking about?

God even has “twins” –Israel/Jacob and Ephraim: Israel is son of God, even His “firstborn;” Ephraim is “firstborn” of God–(Exodus 4:22; Jeremiah 31:9).

   As to who “descended” from heaven the Bible states:

   -Elias descended from heaven, (the Bible says that Elijah/Elias ascended to heaven and God had promised to return him, and according to Jesus Elias came in the person of John the Baptist): “But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not…Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist”–(2 Kings 2:1, 11; Malachi 4:5; Matt. 17:10-13); (If John the Baptist is not Elias then the Christian’s God/Son of God would be wrong).

   -The spirit descended from heaven unto Jesus at his baptism–(John 1:31-32. God baptized (?);

   -God descended and fought “face to face” with Jacob: “And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him (which man turned out to be God)…And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God FACE TO FACE”–(Gen. 32:24-30);

   -God descended to show Himself to the Elders of Israel: “Then WENT UP Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the Elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was UNDER HIS FEET as it were a paved work of a Sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness”–(Ex. 24:9-10).

   MOHAMMAD’S advent was foretold centuries before Jesus in various Scriptures of the world and in the Bible (Read Abdul Haque Vidyarthi, Muhammad in World Scriptures, and Prof. Abdul Ahad Dawud B.D. –“the former Reverend David Benja-min Keldani, B.D., a Roman Catholic priest of the Uniate-Chaldean sect”– revealing book Muhammad in The Bible).

   Jesus also, as Allāh revealed in His Qur’an 61:6, spoke about the coming of Mohammad (Ahmad being another name of the Prophet Mohammad): “And when Jesus, son of Mary, said: O Children of Israel, surely I am the messenger of Allāh to you, verifying that which is before me of the Torah and giving the good news of a Messenger who will come after me, his name being AHMAD.” (See COMFORTER).

(Notably, Mohammad does not need the Bible or any other Scripture to substantiate his claim to Divine Mess-engership status. The Qur’an –with its PROPHECIES; SCIENTIFIC pronouncements and inimitability (Qur’an 2:23; 10:38; 11:13; 52:34)– is his proof. In fact, the Qur’an is not only proof of Mohammad’s Divine Messengership, it is a refutation of atheism, for no man in Mohammad’s time could have known about some of the information given by Mohammad).

   4. That Jesus was resurrected.

   As there was no SON OF GOD and no INHERITED SINthere was no crucifixion and no “resurrection.” That there was no crucifixion and no resurrection is proven by the Bible itself and even by Jesus:

   -Jesus prayed to be spared from death-(Matt; 26:36-44); his prayers were answered-(Heb. 5:7); prayers of the righteous are always answered–(James 5:16; Psalm 22:24; 34:15-19; John 9:31; Matt; 7:8-9); God always answered Jesus’ prayers–(John 11:41-42). God “delivered” Jesus from death (Psalm 91:14-16).   God did not send Jesus to die for anyone. The Jews wanted to kill Jesus because Jesus was against their practices.The ‘Bible Dictionary’ in one edition of the King James Bible, notes as part of its explanation of the term ‘scribe’:

“Their familiarity with the law allowed the scribes to take on a role of growing importance in Jewish society –teaching in the synagogues, serving as judges, and be-coming members of the Sanhedrin. Jesus refused to ac-cept the mass of detail and the superficial technicalities which they affixed to the law, and He accused them of hypocritical interpretations of the law. For these reasons they opposed His teachings and were one of the groups, as were the Pharisees, that helped to plot His death–(Matt. 5:20; 21:15; Mark 10:33; 14:53; Luke 11:44; 20:46; John 8:3; Acts 4:5; 6:12).”(Highlight added). (See JESUS-INHERITED SIN).

-Angels said Jesus was “alive,” not resurrected or risen–(Luke 24:23). The Apostles treated the news of Jesus’ resurrection as “idle tales”–(Luke 24:11. If the crucifixion and resurrection were prophecies, the Apostles would not have treated the resurrection as “idle tales”).

   -Jesus cried from the cross: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do”–(Luke 23:34). There is no need to “forgive them” if they were fulfilling Scripture: they are to be honored.

   -Jesus said his sign would be like Jonas, as Jonas was alive in the whale’s belly so he shall be–(Matt. 12:39-40; Jonah 1:17; 2:1-10; if Jesus came to die for sins there was no need for his sign to be like Jonas’); if Jesus was killed/crucified his sign would not have been like Jonas’. Even if we take Jesus’ sign to refer to time (three days and three nights) rather than to status (that he would be alive) he is unlike Jonas. Jesus’ alleged crucifixion was on Friday afternoon and alleged resurrection on Sunday morning (Jewish Sabbath is on Saturdays); this would put Jesus in the earth two nights and one and a half days –Friday and Saturday nights, and half-a-day Friday and all day Saturday. Jesus told the thief on the cross beside him, “To-day shalt thou be with me in Paradise”–Luke 23:43. If Jesus went to Paradise “To day” (the day of his alleged crucifixion) he could not have gone into the earth: Paradise is not in the earth!).

   -After the alleged crucifixion and resurrection Jesus had his disciples examine him to verify he was not spirit, as the resurrected is, but was of flesh and bones: a mortal–(Luke 24:38-39). The resurrected “are (spiritualized) as the angels”–(Matt. 22:23-30. Luke 20:34-36). Jesus had flesh and bones: he was human.

   If those claiming that Jesus was killed are right, Jesus would be wrong that he was not killed. These humans would have known more than “God” or the “son of God.”

Even if Jesus was the only one to descend and ascend to heaven yet this would not make him Divine or vicarious atoner.

Whereas Jesus was only a messenger of God sent to the Israelites to call them to “repentance” and “forgiveness”, Christians walled Jesus in the bed of celibacy, crowned him with Divinity and made him scapegoat for non-existent inherited sin. (See JESUS–LIKE DAVID).
