Regarding the Bible, the Books of the Old Testament “were written in several languages over a period of more than nine hundred years, based on oral traditions;” and the Gospels were written more than a hundred years after Jesus; and are “according to” Matthew, Mark, Luke and John –not according to God or Jesus– who “were not eye-witnesses of the data they recorded” and is the King James “Version” –not God’s or Jesus’ Version. And, ini-tially Jesus’ teachings were transmitted “orally” and the current four Gospels did not acquire official sta-tus until “170 A.D.” (some 140 years after Christ) and not until “excisions” were made from the pre-vailing “abundance of literature” on Jesus and after numerous other “Gospels were suppressed.”

JESUS HAD A WIFE

“And certainly We sent messengers before
thee (Mohammad) and appointed for them
wives and children”
(Qur’an 13:38).

As shown in Jesus-birth miracle or mechanix?, contrary to Christian’s belief the Bible (and Qur’an) shows that Jesus was not of virgin birth. Jesus had a human father (virgin birth is a forgery in the Bible).

   Paul, who knows more than Christians, states that Jesus had a human father:
   (a) “Therefore (David) being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the FRUIT OF HIS LOINS, ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne”–(Acts 2:30);
   (b) “Concerning his Son Jesus Christ…which was made of the SEED OF DAVID ACCORDING TO THE FLESH”–(Romans 1:3);
   (c) “Remember that Jesus Christ of the SEED OF DAVID”–(2 Timothy 2:8).
   And “seed” is sperm, and “according to the flesh” is male-female union: sexual intercourse.

The question is was Jesus married?
According to a recent newspaper report, a 4th century papyrus fragment was found that suggests Jesus had a “wife”: “The translation of the 4th century Coptic papyrus by a Harvard scholar read “Jesus said to them, my wife.””1

In His Qur’an 6:84-87, Allāh mentions Jesus among eighteen prophets who had fathers and descendants/children:

“And We gave him (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob.
Each did We guide; and Noah
did We guide before,
and of his descendants, David and
Solomon and Job and Joseph
and Moses and Aaron.
And thus do We reward those
who do good (to others):
And Zacharias and John
and Jesus and Elias;
each one (of them) was of the righteous,
And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah
and Lot; and each one (of them)
We made to excel the people;
And some of their fathers
and their descendants and their brethren.
And We chose them and guided
them to the right way.”

   To have children, Jesus must have a wife/consort, but according to the Gospels Jesus had no wife and children. If Jesus was married why is there no mention of it in the Gospels?
   The answer would seem simple.
If Jesus had a wife and children, and as Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God, it would mean that God has a daughter-in-law and grandchildren, and even great grandchildren and even other greats as we move down the trail of descendants; and it would also mean that since all these descendants would be of “Divinity,” as their father, they also would have the powers to perform miracles through the ages and also among us today
–if Jesus’ followers, being mortals, could perform such miracles as Jesus gave them power–(Matt. 10:7-8)– consider how much more potent his own “divine” off-spring would be.

   These ‘multi-great’ grandchildren would be able to feed multitudes on a few loaves and fish –which would take care of any famine or starvation, and food-banks. These “Divine” descendants would also be able to save the cash flow of the world’s ‘drinkers’ by turning mega loads of water into wine –though this might upset and put the ‘spirit’ czars out of business; they may have to hook fish or fork potato banks for a living.

   These “heavenly” children would also heal the blind and the sick and raise the dead –man would have found his utopia– though all this would put an end to doctors and hospitals and undertakers and grave-diggers, and to stem-cell research and cloning, as well as an end to all the millions in money collected for cancer and other researches.

   The scenario would pretty much be the same regarding the belief that Jesus is God –God would have a mortal wife, children, grand’s, etc.
   Thus, the builders of the Church probably having foreseen this expanse of insanity ruled it necessary to wall Jesus in the room of celibacy. Or, since Jesus’ purpose was to be scapegoat for sinners, there was no need for him to have a wife and children.
   Any wonder the Church does not seem please over the discovery of this ‘Jesus had a wife’ document?

   Contrary to Biblical narrative that the Pharaoh of Moses’ time perished in the sea, Allāh the All-Knowing revealed in His Qur’an 10:92 that He saved Pharaoh’s body to be a sign for future generations: “But this day We shall save thee in thy body that thou mayest be a sign to those after thee. And surely most of the people are heedless of Our signs.”2
It took the world some twelve hundred years after this Qur’anic revelation, and nearly twenty-five hundred years after the fact, to discover this truth of Allāh.

   Allāh also revealed in His Qur’an 89:7 the existence of a city named Iram:“Hast thou not considered how thy Lord dealt with ‘Åd, (Of) Iram, having lofty buildings.” Iram seemed unheard of in history.
   But the December 1978 edition of National Geographic carried an article on the excavation of a city named “Ebla” whereby this city of Iram is mentioned. The article titled EBLA Splendor Of An Unknown Empire is written by Howard La Fay. The article states:

“…in 1975”, “Dr. Paolo Matthiae of the University of Rome” discovered “the ruins of a palace apparently destroyed in the 23rd century B.C.”
   “The names of cities thought to have been founded much later, such as Beirut and Byblos, leap from the tablets….Also included is Iram, an obscure city referred to in Sura 89 of the Koran.
Most intriguing of all are the personal names found on the Ebla tablets. They include Ab-ra-mu (Abraham),   E-sa-um (Esau), and Sa-u-lum (Saul).”
“The Book of Genesis introduces him (Abraham) as a native of Ur of the Chaldees, in southern Mesopotamia. Scholars have always taken this at face value.”
“But we now encounter a Syrian capital, dating from five hundred years before the widely accepted date for Abraham….Muslim scholars have long held that Abraham’s epic journey occurred about 2300 B.C.” (pp. 731, 735, 736). (See also Ency. Britannica, Vol. 1. Art. Abraham.).

    It took mankind over two thousand years to discover the truth of the Qur’an that the body of Ramses (the Pharaoh of Moses’ time) was preserved for future generations; it took some four thousand years for the world to discover the Qur’anic truth about the existence of the city of Iram.
Mohammad through revelation from Allāh also made unerring
prophecies and pronouncements on science. Whether the papyrus fragment is genuine or not, the words of Allāh enshrined in His Qur’an are true. Jesus had a “wife.”

2. Muhammad Ali comments on this verse, Qur’an 10:92: “That the body was really cast ashore, though the Bible does not mention it, is clear from the fact that the body of Rameses II, who is regarded as the Pharaoh of Moses, has been discovered as preserved among the mummies in Egypt (En. Br. Art. Mummy). This is another instance of the insufficiency of the Bible narrative and of the truth of the Quranic statement where it supplements the Bible. The discovery now made could not have been known to the Holy Prophet; it was not known to any person in the world till very recently.”
