If Allah is Hubal and Molech and a pagan moon-God as Christians and others have postulated, then this Hubal and Molech and pagan moon-God has given to the world the best Book in Scriptural history. For the Qur’an  contains teachings of past Scriptures and also has teachings not met with in other Scriptures. Thus, the Qur’an consists of, exceeds, and supersedes all other Scriptures.
Moreover, given that to suffer/punish someone else for your satisfaction is sadism, the Christian doctrine of original/inherited sin and vicarious atonement is sadistic. Thus, in contrast to Hubal and Molech and pagan moon-God and Allāh Who forgives ALL sins unconditionally, the Christians’ God, needing the satisfaction of Jesus’ blood to forgive sins, is a sadist.
NB: The God of Moses and of Jesus Who revealed Divine Unity and self-responsibility for sin(s) is NOT the God of Christians. The Christians’ God, Whoever He is, is the God of Trinity, original/inherited sin and vicarious atonement.

ALLAH CONFIRMS ORIGINAL SIN  & VICARIOUS ATONEMENT  (See also Christianity-man made to live forever)
Unable to find clear Divine expressions in the Bible for the doctrines of “original sin” (“inherited sin”) and vicarious atonement, the Christian turns to the Qur’an and Hadith for evidence for these human assumption and invention..

It is amusing for the Christian to claim that the Qur’an and Hadith teach “original sin”/inherited sin and vicarious atonement when Allāh says He created life and death to try man–(Qur’an 29:2; 5:48; 11:7; 18:7).
And the loading of Adam’s sin onto man could not be a trial but is a monumental and grotesque injustice; and which also robs man of free will.
And in this trial man is subjected to various conditions such as loss of wealth; affluence and hardship. It is absurd then to take these conditions to be because of Adam’s sin (or ‘original’ sin).

It is equally amusing for the Christian to claim that the Qur’an teaches vicarious atonement when Allāh states categorically, unambiguously and unequivocally that Jesus was not killed or crucified.

To say that God sent us into the world as sinners is to say that God sent us with two little horns on our forehead and a barbed tail on our behinds (as devils); that we are criminal by nature. And as we are criminal by nature then we are incapable of upholding law –any law; Divine and human.
And as we are incapable of upholding any law then, according to this Christian doctrine of “original” sin the human laws and courts and punishments are an affront to God and man. We are hopeless pawns in the hands of the Christian God.

That God loads Adam’s sin onto babies, and even from their mothers’ wombs, for six thousand years now and worldwide, and will continue to do so to the Resurrection attributes injustice to God.
That God sent Jesus to be murdered for Adam’s sin that He has loaded onto mankind is to attribute more injustice to God and makes God complicit in murder.
Not even honest human leaders/governments commit such a heinous act of punishing the innocent for the guilty.

If sin is a voluntary transgression against a known law of God by a morally responsible person; where is the voluntary transgression by the helpless and morally and intellectually non-competent fetus/baby for him/her to have sin?

As woman is the transgressor –she being deceived by Satan and eaten the fruit and then gave it to man (Genesis 3:1-6)– sin should have been inherited through woman’s ovum and not through man’s sperm.
In which event the Christian God should have sent His only “begotten” daughter to die for this alleged “original”/ inherited sin.

Since God did not reveal and Christ did not teach original/inherited sin from where did it originate?
As noted on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Original _sin:

“The concept of original sin was first alluded to in the 2nd century by IrenaeusBishop of Lyon in his controversy with certain dualist Gnostics. Other church fathers such as Augustine also developed the doctrine,[2] seeing it as based on the New Testament teaching of  Paul the Apostle (Romans 5:12–21 and 1 Corinthians 15:22) and the Old Testament verse of Psalm 51:5.[4][5][6][7][8]
TertullianCyprian,Ambrose
and Ambrosiaster considered that humanity shares in Adam’s sin, transmitted by human generation. Augustine’s formulation of original sin was popular among Protestant reformers, such as Martin Luther and John Calvin, who equated original sin with concupiscence, affirming that it persisted even after baptism and completely destroyed freedom.[2]
The Jansenist movement, which the Catholic Church declared to be heretical, also maintained that original sin destroyed freedom of will.[9]
This is the Christian religion for you: “Manufactured in the human mint; it is stamped with Divine authority.”1

Even if the Qur’an had taught “original” sin, there is nothing in the Qur’an to support vicarious atonement (of Jesus being murdered –made a scapegoat– to wipe out the “original;” sin); seeing that Allāh has pulverized the Christian’s “son of God” belief as patent Paganism and a cosmic-shattering lie:

  • “and the Christians say: The Messiah (Jesus) is the son of Allah. These are the words of their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before –(Qur’an 9:30)2
  • “And they say: The Beneficent has taken to Himself a son. Certainly you make an abominable assertion! The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent!
And it is not worthy of the Beneficent that He should take to Himself a son. There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes to the Beneficent as a servant”–(Qur’an 19:88-94).
  • “They say: Allāh has taken a son (to Himself). Glory be to Him! He is the Self-sufficient. His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. You have no authority for this. Say you against Allāh what you know not? Say: Those who forge a lie against Allāh will not succeed”–(Qur’an 10:68-69).

Allāh not only says that every person earns his own sin and will bear his own burden/sin but that shepherds who lead their sheep astray will bear their burden/sin as well as part of the burden/sin of those whom they lead astray:

  • “And no soul earns (evil) but against itself. Nor does a bearer of burden bear another’s burden”–(Qur’an 6:164); “That no bearer of burden bears another’s burden: And that man can have nothing but what he strives for”–(Qur’an 53:38-39. These verses uproot the Christian’s concoctions of inherited sin and vicarious atonement).
  • “That they may bear their burdens in full on the day of Resurrection, and also of the burdens of those whom they lead astray without knowledge. Ah! evil is what they bear” –Qur’an 16:25; also 29:12-13).

Even in the human/earthly sphere people in authority who betray the trust of their charge face prosecution; e.g. a teacher who uses his/her position to take advantage of a student is apt to be penalized; and an investment broker who knowingly misleads his client or misdirect the client’s funds is subject to prosecution.
To conflate this verse (Qur’an 16:25) about deceptive Shepherds suffering part of the burden of the sheep they mislead with original sin or vicarious atonement is preposterous.
Allāh’s statement clearly shows that had these Shepherds not mislead their uneducated flock they would not have to suffer part of the flock’s punishment –they bear burden of others because they mislead; if they had not mislead they would not bear burden of others. This is in glaring contrast to Christianity’s “original”/”inherited” sin in which EVERYONE AUTOMATICALLY INHERITS  ADAM’S SIN.

Allāh the Glorious and the High in His infinite mercy and grace implores us in loving compassionate terms through His noble Messenger, Mohammad:
“Say: O My servants who have sinned against their souls, despair not of the mercy of Allāh; surely Allāh forgives all sins. Verily, He is Most Forgiving, Ever Merciful”–Qur’an 39:53).
It is not credible then that Allāh who forgives “ALL” sins, and unconditionally, would put Adam’s sin onto us.
It is even less credible that Allāh Who forgives “ALL” sins, and unconditionally, would require the murder of Jesus to forgive Adam’s sin.

No prophet of God, Jesus included, can be shown to have taught such dastardly dark doctrines as original sin/inherited sin and vicarious atonement, which attributes injustice to God and makes God complicit in murder.
Significantly, as Adam’s sin was indiscriminately put on all men, then Jesus’ dying for this sin is to indiscriminately free all men –to restrict Jesus’ dying to those that believe in him is a lopsided equation.
Heaven lies in following clearly expressed Divine instructions, not in following human assumptions and inventions.
*

As noted above Christians take verses of the Bible –Romans 5:12–21; 1 Corinthians 15:22; and Psalm 51:5 and assume them to be teachings of original sin and vicarious atonement.

  1. Romans 5:12–21 state, in brief, that sin and death came upon all men because of Adam’s sin; and that eternal life lies in being obedient to Christ.

ANSWER:
Romans is NOT Divine revelation –it is NOT words of God or Jesus.
Romans is the words of St (?) Paul who was a self-admitted liar, forger of his own gospel; and who subverted Jesus’ teachings and made himself into a human chameleon to snare others into following his Pagan Son of God.
Interestingly, Paul states that eternal life lies in being obedient to Christ:

  • “For as by one man’s (Adam’s) disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one (Jesus) shall many be made righteous….That as sin has reigned onto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord” –(Romans 5:19-21).

And obedience to Christ and eternal life, lie, NOT in belief in inherited sin and vicarious atonement, but in observing the Ten Commandments until the arrival of the Comforter who will guide into “all truth” and will “abide for ever” as Jesus says:

  • “And, behold, one came and said unto him (Jesus), Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the Commandments…. Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness…”–(Matthew 19:16-19)
  • “Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: ALL therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do..” –(Matthew 23:1-3).
  • “And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you forever” “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth”–(John 14:16; 16:13. As the Comforter will bring ‘all truth” and “abide for ever,” the Bible is obsolete and Jesus is redundant).
That God did not make Adam/man to live forever see Christianity-man made to live forever
  1. 1 Corinthians 15:22 states: “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”

ANSWER:
Like Romans, Corinthians is also the words of Paul.
However, while Allāh did not make Adam/man to live forever. As shown in Christianity-man made to live forever Adam’s death from eating the forbidden fruit was SPIRITUAL death.

That all who believe in Christ “shall all be made alive” is about spiritual life. As such, every person who believes in his respective prophet were “all be made alive” spiritually. If not, it would have been pointless for God to send these prophets to their people.
And as Islam is superior to all other religions, those who know about Islam/Mohammad and desire to go to heaven have no choice but to bend their knees to Islam/Allāh; to “There is no God but Allāh; Mohammad is the Messenger of Allāh.” (See Mohammad-no man cometh to God but by).

  1. Psalm 51:5 states “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.”

ANSWER:
This verse of David is not about “original” or “inherited” sin. David believed he was of illegitimate birth.

According to the Internet, David’s father, Jesse, believing his marriage to David’s mother, Nitzevet, was a “forbidden” union avoided marital relation with her.
Later, Jesse, desiring a child of unquestionable ancestry, proposed to his “Canaanite maidservant” to have a child with her. The servant informed Nitzevet about Jesse’s proposal. The two women decided to secretly switch places in Jesse’s bed (much as Rachel and Leah were switched to trick Jacob into mating with Leah–Gen. 29:16-25). From this union with Jesse, Nitzevet became pregnant with David.
Nitzevet, not wanting to disclose the “switch” to Jesse, was viewed as “adulterous” and her child, David, as being “illegitimate.”
In this Psalm (51:1-5) David, lamenting his own adultery with Bathsheba, is recounting his mother’s assumed “adultery;” that he was conceived in “sin”/ “adultery.”

If Psalm 51:1-5 was about original/inherited sin, in which David would have been a helpless partaker, it would have been an injustice for God to condemn David for dallying with Uriah’s wife and had Uriah killed; and moreover to give David’s wives to David’s neighbor to lie with them as punishment to David–(2 Samuel 11:2-5; 2 Samuel 12:9-11).

Notably, the several books after those written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are mostly the words of Paul, who was a self-admitted liar, forger of his own Gospel, subverted Jesus’ teachings and became a human chameleon to snare people into following his pagan son of God. (See Bible corrupt & obsolete; Allāh and Jesus or Paul).

3. If infants are born “corrupt” as the Christian claims, then Mary, the Christians’ “Mother of God” was “corrupt”. And also Enoch, Noah, Zacharias and his wife and Abel were “corrupt” even though God says they were righteous and walked with Him:

-“Enoch WALKED WITH GOD; and he was NOT (dead); for GOD TOOK HIM”–(Gen. 5:24; Heb. 11:5).
-“Noah was a JUST man…PERFECT…WALKED WITH GOD”–(Gen. 6:9).
-“Zacharias…and his wife…were both RIGHTEOUS ….BLAMELESS”–(Luke 1:5-6).
-“he (Abel) obtained WITNESS (from God) that he was RIGHTEOUS, GOD testifying of his gifts”–(Genesis 4:4; Hebrews 11:4).
-Mary, mother of Jesus (and even “mother of God” as some Christians say) was “highly favoured” by God, and “blessed” among women–(Luke 1:28).
-John the Baptist was “great in the sight of the Lord”–(Luke 1:15).
-And even Jesus, the Christians’ God/Son of God who also was an infant was “corrupt.”

4. If God had put Adam’s sin onto mankind then the kingdom of God would be sinful. But Jesus obliterates this Christian invention of inherited sin and vicarious atonement. Jesus says that the kingdom of God is like little children:
“Except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter the kingdom of heaven;”
“Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God”–(Matthew 18:3; Luke 18:16-17).
These verses clearly show that we are all born without sin.

Equally significant, Jesus says: “I am not come to call the RIGHTEOUS, but sinners to REPENTANCE”–(Matthew 9:13).
How could Jesus say he did not come to call “RIGHTEOUS” to repentance if everyone in society was a sinner. Where did these ‘RIGHTEOUS” come from for Jesus to not call?

That man inherited sin from Adam and that the wages of sin is death is also belied by the Bible. According to the Bible Elijah and Enoch have “beaten the odds” of death:
Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven”–(2 Kings 2:1, 11); and “Enoch was translated that he should not see death…God had translated him”–(Hebrews 11:5; Genesis 5:24).

Apart from Elijah and Enoch who had to be “good” and “righteous” for God to take them alive into heaven. According to the Bible there are others who showed that we are born innocent and good and continued to be so and remained sinless: from early in life:

  • “Noah was a JUST man…PERFECT…WALKED WITH GOD”–(Gen. 6:9).
  • “Zacharias…and his wife…were both RIGHTEOUS…. BLAMELESS”–(Luke 1:5-6).
  • “he (Abel) obtained WITNESS (from God) that he was RIGHTEOUS, GOD testifying of his gifts”–(Gen. 4:4; Heb. 11:4).
  • Mary, mother of Jesus (and even “mother of God” as some Christians say) was “highly favoured” by God, and “blessed” among women–(Luke 1:28).
  • John the Baptist was “great in the sight of the Lord”–(Luke 1:15).

Clearly, contrary to Paul and Christians, the “wages of sin” is NOT death. The “wages of sin” is Hell-fire:
“But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath NEVER forgiveness but is in danger of ETERNAL DAMNATION”–(Mark 3:29).
And damnation is Hell! which is the “everlasting fire” that “never shall be quenched;” the “furnace of fire” in which there shall be “wailing and gnashing of teeth”–(Matthew 10:28; 18:8; Mark 9:43; Matthew 23:14, 33; 13:42).

5. That Christ willingly gave up His life, and died in punishment of sins”
If Christ “conquered” death and “died in punishment of those sins” “that we were under,” how is it that Christians are yet dying? Even popes, the vicars of Christ, have died and will continue to die.”

That Christ was “sinless”, according to the Gospels Jesus was a hypocrite, liar, fraud. See also Jesus vs. Jews).
That Christ gave his life willingly is a colossal joke –this is Christian lip-talk and clap trap that is belied by Christ and the Gospel.
It is rather strange for Jesus who came to die willingly for the sins of the world

  • to tell his disciples that “they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ”–(Matthew 16:20);
  • for him to hide from his executioners–(John 11:54);
  • to rebuke the Jews “why go ye about to kill me?”–(John 7:19);
  • and to beseech God to be spared from death–(Matthew 26:39). Jesus was so terrified of the Jews, fearing for his own head, that after he learnt of the beheading of John the Baptist he rushed off to Bethsaida–(Matthew 14:10-13; Luke 9:9-10).

The Bible supports the Qur’an 4:157 that Jesus was not killed/crucified:

  • Jesus prayed to be spared from death-(Matt; 26:36-44); his prayers were answered-(Heb. 5:7; prayers of the righteous are always answered–(James 5:16; Psalm 22:24; 34:15-19; John 9:31; Matt; 7:8-9); God always answered Jesus’ prayers–(John 11:41-42).
Even Jesus’ followers, upon removing Jesus from the cross/pole must have realized he was not dead, for they took “spices and ointments” to “anoint” him–Mark 16:1; Luke 23:56; 24:1. For as Ahmed Deedat points out Jews do NOT anoint their “dead”.
  • Angels said Jesus was “alive,” not resurrected or risen–(Luke 24:23);
  • the Apostles treated the news of Jesus’ resurrection as “idle tales”–(Luke 24:11. If the crucifixion and resurrection were prophecies, the Apostles would not have treated the resurrection as “idle tales”);
  • Jesus said his sign would be like Jonas, as Jonas was alive in the whale’s belly so he shall be–(Matt. 12:39-40; Jonah 1:17; 2:1-10; if Jesus came to die for sins there was no need for his sign to be like Jonas’); if Jesus was killed/crucified his sign would not have been like Jonas’.
  • After the alleged crucifixion and resurrection Jesus had his disciples examine him to verify he was not spirit, as the resurrected is, but was of flesh and bones: a mortal–(Luke 24:38-39). The resurrected “are (spiritualized) as the angels”–(Matt. 22:23-30. Luke 20:34-36). Jesus had flesh and bones: he was human.

That Jesus “willingly gave up His life.”
For Jesus to pray pitifully in the Garden of Gethsemane to be spared from death and to indict God as having “forsaken” him must be the blackest degree of disgrace exampled by a son of God in Scriptural history: “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”–(Matthew 27:46). This must be the “Mother” of all disgraces.
This obliterates Christians’ claim that Jesus gave his life willingly for sinners. (See Jesus-inherited sin to ascension; Jesus-redundant no ransom).

Interestingly, according to Matthew Jesus prayed so pitifully in the garden of Gethsemane to be spared from death that “his sweat was as it were great drops of blood;” and he charged God as having “forsaken” him: “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”–(Matthew 26:36; Luke 22: 42-44; 27:46).
But Luke 23:34 has Jesus saying: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” This must be the acme of absurdity. Why do “they” need to be forgiven if by killing Jesus they were fulfilling scripture?
Instead of asking God to “forgive” them, Jesus should have beseeched God to give “them” mansions in His house.

Since they make the difference between heaven and Hell, It is rather intriguing that the Christian God did not see it fit to clearly state the cardinal doctrines of His votaries’ religion.

Instead of following the clear Divine truth brought by Jesus that he was wholly and solely only for Jews, that he was Muslim and taught Islam and that eternal life lies in observing the Mosaic Law until the arrival of the Comforter, Mohammad,  who will guide into “all truth” and will abide “for ever”, Christians stubbornly persist in their morbid delusion of assumption and invention of inherited sin and vicarious atonement; and Divinity of Jesus.

As pointed out, unable to find proof in the Bible for their false beliefs, the Christian scrambles to the Qur’an and Hadith for proof for the non-existent original/inherited sin and vicarious atonement.

6. Allāh reveals in His Qur’an 2:36-38 that Satan caused Adam and Eve to be put out of the garden”
ANSWER:
Adam and Eve being put out of the garden does not have a negative impact on all future generations of mankind.
If your grandfather was expelled from a country for treason before you were born, it would be preposterous to claim that your grandfather’s action has a negative impact on you.
(Not even human governments hold the innocent responsible for the criminal. And these later generations may yet apply for and be granted entry and citizenship to the country from which their grandfather was expelled).

In fact if we knew where the garden is we can go now and eat of the tree of “life” and live forever. Thus, Adam’s sin, while it caused them to lose Divine favor, did not have a negative impact on us.
(Rather than dig for useless bones, archaeologists should be looking for this tree of immortality).

Even if Adam’s sin did have a “negative impact on all future generations,” there is no place in the Bible where God says He loads Adam’s sin onto man (then shifts it onto Jesus) and that He sent Jesus to be killed for this sin.

If Adam and Eve being put out of the garden had a “negative impact” on man, Abel could not be said to be righteous (see note #3).

7. Allāh says in Qur’an 2:34 states: “And when We said to the angels, Be submissive to Adam, they submitted, but Iblis (did not). He refused and was proud, and he was one of the disbelievers.”
And a hadith reports Moses on the Day of Judgment, praying:

“O my Lord! Show me Adam who caused us and himself to be thrown out of Paradise.” (because of Adam’s forgetting God’s command and eating from the forbidden tree).
ANSWER:
(Notably, Adam was NOT in paradise in heaven when he was cast out, he was already on earth in the Garden with Eve; neither was Adam in heaven when Iblis/Satan was instructed to bow down” to Adam, Adam was created on earth).
As stated. A diplomat who spies on his host country and is expelled with his family. While the family also is expelled, the family and future offspring cannot be charged as being guilty of spying. In fact the family and offspring can apply for, and be granted, re-entry into the host country.

It is rather strange that Moses would say he was thrown out of Paradise seeing that as prophet of God he was/is destined for Paradise. Arguably, if Adam was not thrown out of Paradise there would have been no need for Moses.
Significantly, whereas Moses charged Adam as being responsible for them being “thrown out” of Paradise, Moses did not charge Adam as being the cause of him inheriting sin from him (Adam) –a doctrine (“original” sin) which was alien to him.

Even if Hadith had taught original/inherited sin and vicarious atonement they would be in contradiction with the Qur’an and would have to be discarded. The Qur’an supersedes all other sources of guidance. And Allāh rejects Sonship of God (and so does the Bible as Jesus is only CALLED son of God) and denies that Jesus was crucified/killed (and so does the Bible and Jesus, as noted in item #5, and which fact the Church is aware of, see Jesus-inherited sin to ascension; Christianity-a fake).

8. Allāh reveals in His Qur’an 7:172-173: “And when thy Lord brought forth from the children of Adam, from their loins, their descendants, and made them bear witness about themselves: Am I not your Lord? They said: Yes; we bear witness. Lest you should say on the day of Resurrection: We were unaware of this, Or (lest) you should say: Only our fathers ascribed partners (to Allah) before (us), and we were (their) descendants after them. Wilt Thou destroy us for what liars did?”–(Qur’an 7:172-173).
And Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah said,
…(… So Adam denied that and HIS OFFSPRING FOLLOWED SUIT (denying Allah’s covenant), Adam forgot and HIS OFFSPRING FORGOT, Adam made a mistake and HIS OFFSPRING MADE MISTAKES.))
ANSWER:
Significantly. As noted the verse says the descendants were brought forth from the loins of the children of Adam, NOT from the loins of Adam. How then it is claimed that this verse teaches “original” sin?
Also as careful reading shows, the verse is referring to the “day of Resurrection” about those who, during their life, deny that Allāh is God. It is not about Adam having lied and his offspring “followed suit.”

That Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah said, …(… So Adam denied that and HIS OFFSPRING FOLLOWED SUIT (denying Allah’s covenant), Adam forgot and HIS OFFSPRING FORGOT, Adam made a mistake and HIS OFFSPRING MADE MISTAKES.))
So how is this “mistake” related to “original” sin?

9. One hadith notes Adam being shown all the souls that Allāh created to come:
“He (Adam) said: My Lord, who is he? (The Lord) said: It is David. He (Adam) said: My Lord, what span of life have you allotted to him? He replied: Sixty years. He said: My Lord, enhance his age from my age (to the extent of forty years). Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: When Adam completed his age life-span with only forty years remaining, there came to him the angel of death. Thereupon Adam said: Are there not forty years left in my life-span? The angel said: Did you not confer your son (forty years). Adam denied it and so did his offspring. Adam forgot and ate (the fruit) of the tree and so his offspring also forgot and he (Adam) committed an error and so did his offspring commit an error.
ANSWER:
My father forgot something and I forgot something (even if it is the same thing) this does not make me and my father to be the same.

Clearly, what Adam ‘denied” was that he conferred forty of his years/life to David.
If David was given sixty (60) years plus (40) forty of Adam’s this would give him a lifespan of one hundred (100) years, But according to Biblical sources on the Internet David lived only seventy (70) years.
Which conveys that either the Prophet was in error or God did not give David the forty years from Adam or the Biblical sources had miscalculated or the Hadith was a fabrication.

10. “The Prophet said, “Adam and Moses argued with each other. Moses said to Adam. ‘O Adam! You are our father WHO DISAPPOINTED US AND TURNED US OUT OF PARADISE.’ Then Adam said to him, ‘O Moses! Allah favored you with His talk (talked to you directly) and He wrote (the Torah) for you with His Own Hand.Do you blame me for action WHICH ALLAH HAD WRITTEN IN MY FATE forty years before my creation?‘ So Adam confuted Moses, Adam confuted Moses,” the Prophet added, repeating the Statement three times.
ANSWER:
If Allāh had predestined this for Adam, Adam could not have been charged as having “disappointed us.” Adam would have been a helpless pawn.
If Allāh had preordained man’s action then Adam was not guilty of any wrong-doing. Also it would have been preordained for mankind to inherit Adam’s sin; thus, there would have been no need for God to have Jesus killed.

Notably, it is ADAM who says “ALLAH HAD WRITTEN IN MY FATE forty years before my creation.”
And how did Adam know this? Is there any place in the Qur’an where Allāh said this to Adam?

That Adam confuted Moses does not mean that Adam was right/correct; only that Adam was wittier. Significantly the Prophet was only noting an exchange between Moses and Adam, not that it was a Divine truth.
If Allāh had predestined our actions it would have been pointless for Him to send prophets/messengers to guide us into goodness,  What is preordained is the laws of nature. (See Islam-predestination).

11. The Prophet said: “Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, would gather people (on the Day of Judgment). The believers would stand till the Paradise would be brought near them. They would come to Adam and say: O our father, open for us the Paradise. He would say:What turned you out from the Paradise WAS THE SIN OF YOUR FATHER ADAM. I am not in a position to do that.
ANSWER:
Adam said that it was his sin that turned them out of Paradise NOT that they had inherited sin from him.
That Adam was turned out of Paradise, it was obvious his offspring would be born outside of Paradise. This does not make the offspring guilty of their father’s (Adam’s) sin.
To restate, a man being expelled from a country, though his family is expelled along with him, does not make his family a culprit as he is.
In fact if we can find the tree of life we can eat from it and live forever.

Significantly. Even though Adam was turned out from Paradise, his son, Abel, was yet favored by God:
“And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering,” “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained WITNESS (from God) that he was RIGHTEOUS, GOD testifying of his gifts”–(Genesis 4:4; Hebrews 11:4).
Abel could not have been crowned “righteous” by God if Abel had inherited sin from his father, Adam, (and there was no Jesus to die for his sin). One who has sin, whether inherited or committed, cannot be hailed as “righteous.”

12. The Prophet said, “Were it not for Bani Israel, meat would not decay;and were it not FOR EVE, no woman would ever betray her husband.
ANSWER:
This does not mean that Eve is to be blamed for a woman betraying her husband.
Apart from the fact that original/inherited sin is not Divine revelation or prophetic teaching. Considering that Allāh has given man the choice of good and evil, it is sheer foolhardiness to assert that this hadith supports the Christian belief of original/inherited sin or that one person bears the spiritual burden of another.

For Cain killing Abel, Allāh prescribed for the Children of Israel “that whoever kills a person, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he had killed all men. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved the lives of all men”–(Qur’an 5:30-32).

Thus, this saying of the Prophet is to be taken in the above context; that a woman who betrays her husband it is as though she had betrayed all husbands (as she would not hesitate to betray again). (See next item).

13. The Prophet said, “None is killed unjustly, but the first son of Adam will have a part of its burden.”
ANSWER:
All this means is that the unjust killing of a person is like killing all men, which dates back to Cain killing Abel–(ref; Qur’an 5:30-32 above).
Notably, Jesus poured the blood of all the righteous people from Abel all the way down to Zacharias, son of Barachias, onto the heads of the Jews–(Matthew 23:34-35). And there was no inherited sin and vicarious atonement. But rather, he (Jesus) told the Jews heaven lies in them following the Mosaic Law until the arrival of the Comforter who will guide them into “all truth” and will “abide for ever.”

14. Allāh reveals in Qur’an 91:7-8: “And the soul and its perfection!— So He reveals to it its way of evil and its way of good; He is indeed successful who causes it to grow.”
And the Prophet explans this verse:

“Two men of the tribe of Muzaina came to Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Allah’s Messenger, what is your opinion that the people do in the world and strive for, is something decreed for them; something preordained for them and will their fate in the Hereafter be determined by the fact that their Prophets brought them teachings which they did not act upon, and thus they became deserving of punishment? Thereupon, he said: Of course, it happens AS IT IS DECREED BY DESTINY AND PREORDAINED FOR THEM, and this view is confirmed by this verse of the Book of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious: “Consider the soul and Him Who made it perfect, THEN BREATHED INTO ITS SIN and its piety” (91:8).
ANSWER:
Since both sin and piety is breathed into man then obviously man has equal tendency of going either way: he can do either good or evil. Thus, his actions cannot be preordained. If his actions are preordained he is not guilty of sin or credited with good.
Muhammad Ali comments on verse 8:

“The verse is a fitting sequel to the statement made in the previous verse as regards the perfection of the soul, as it points out the way to perfection. It is through ilham, Divine inspiration, or revelation, that the soul is made perfect, because Divine revelation makes clear, the two ways, fujur, or the way of deviation from the Truth, i.e., the way of evil, and taqwa, or the way of observance of duty, or the way of good. It is by avoiding the former and walking in the latter that perfection can be attained. Both Rodwell and Palmer are wrong here in translating the verse as meaning, “And breathed into it its wickedness and its piety” (Rodwell), “taught it its sin and its piety” (Palmer), for the statement in this form is not only contradicted by the whole of the Qur’an, but is also self-contradictory and meaningless. Ilham always signifies an intimation by inspiration from the Divine Being, or Divine revelation. “And this is peculiar to that which is intimated by Allah” (R). Rz says the intimation by inspiration of good and evil means the making a man to understand and know them both, and he adds that this explanation is accepted by I‘Ab and all trustworthy commentators.”
And the footnote to this hadith (Sahih Muslim #6406) states:

“This verse reveals that Destiny does not imply that man is completely bereft of will to choose and act and he becomes a helpless actor in the drama of life, who has to act and behave as his Director directs him to do….His activities are limited by forces beyond his control, but at the same time there is ingrained in his very nature power which he is free to use for the achievement of good ends or for fulfilling evil designs.” (And the commentator notes the answer Hazrat Ali, the third Caliph, gave to one of his followers who had fought at the Battle of Siffin and who enquired that if it was Allāh’s decree had led them to Syria. To which the venerable Caliph answered:

““Perhaps you consider predestination to be necessary and the particular decree to be irreversible; if it were so, then would reward and punishment be vain, and the promise and the threat would be of no account; and merely blame would not have come from God for the sinner nor praise for the righteous nor would righteous be more worthy of reward of his good deed than the wicked; nor the wicked more deserving of the punishment of his sin than the righteous. Such a remark (savours) of the brethren of devils and the worshippers of idols and of the enemies of the Merciful and of those who bear witness to falsehood and of those that are blind to the right in their affairs –such as the fatalists and the Magians of this church. God hath ordained the giving of choice (to men) and forbidden the putting (of them) in fear; and He hath not laid duties upon men by force nor sent –His Prophets in sport. This is the notion of the unbelievers and woe unto the unbelievers in Hell” (Nahj-ul-Balaghah, Vol.II pp.110-12).” (See also Islam-predestination).

15. The Prophet said that Allah ordained the measures (of quality) of the creation fifty thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, as His Throne was upon water.
And. A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone, (but) cherish that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allah and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don’t say: If I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your “if” opens the (gate) for the Satan.
ANSWER:
These statements are not about man’s action being preordained. What is preordained is the laws of/in nature. See Islam-predestination.

Regarding the latter hadith. if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don’t say: If I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your “if” opens the (gate) for the Satan.”
ANSWER:
If “we had not done that” and had taken another course, instead of being better off, we could have been worse off than the first course taken. As only Allāh God is Omniscient it is better for the believer to make his decision and trust in Allāh God.

16. Allāh reveals in Qur’an 24:21: “O ye who believe! follow not Satan’s footsteps: if any will follow the footsteps of Satan, he will (but) command what is shameful and wrong: and were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, not one of you would ever have been pure: but Allah doth purify whom He pleases: and Allah is One Who hears and knows (all things).”
ANSWER:
Allāh tells us in His Qur’an 30:30 that He created us to serve Him: “So set thy face for religion, being upright, the nature made by Allāh in which He has created men.”
That man is born pure and is incapable of becoming pure by himself are not contradictions.
Because of Satan’s disobedience of Allāh’s command to honor Adam, Satan became an outcast. Satan sought, and Allāh granted Satan’s request, for respite to the Resurrection to try and lead man away from Him, Allāh.
Whereas Satan tries to lead man away from Allāh, man can only be made pure through guidance from Allah.

17. Allāh says in Qur’an 95:4-6: “Certainly We created man in the best make. Then We render him the lowest of the low. Except those who believe and do good, so they shall have a reward never to be cut off.”
ANSWER:
If this verse was about original/inherited sin there would have been no exception for “those who believe and do good, so they shall have a reward never to be cut off.” And these do not accept the Christian doctrine that Christ died for them; and the Christians’ original/inherited sin is for all mankind. No exceptions.

Allāh created Adam and Eve and bestowed favor onto them and gave them guidelines for a blissful life. Adam and Eve (deliberately or not) transgressed God’s law and lost favor from God.
While by withholding favor from Adam and Eve they were rendered lowest of the low, in effect it was Adam and Eve, by disobeying God, that rendered themselves lowest of the low.
Likewise Allāh has given us guidelines to eternal life, if we disregard these instructions and Allāh withholds His favor from us then we ourselves have rendered ourselves lowest of the low.

18. Allāh reveals:
Every soul earns only to its own account; no soul laden bears the load of another. (Qur’an 6:164 Arberry).
That they may bear their burdens entirely on the day of resurrection and also of the burdens of those whom they lead astray without knowledge; now surely evil is what they bear. (Qur’an 16:25 Shakir).
And those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Follow our path and we will bear your wrongs. And never shall they be the bearers of any of their wrongs; most surely they are liars. And most certainly they shall carry their own burdens, AND OTHER BURDENS WITH THEIR OWN BURDENS, and most certainly they shall be questioned on the resurrection day as to what they forged. (Qur’an 29:12-13 Shakir).
ANSWER:
There is no contradiction between the Qur’an’s “no soul laden bears the load of another” and that those who lead others astray will bear their own burden and also of the burdens of those whom they lead astray without knowledge (this has already been dealt with at the beginning of this paper).

Allāh’s statement clearly shows that had these Shepherds not mislead their uneducated flock they would not have to suffer part of the flock’s punishment –they bear burden of others because they mislead; if they had not mislead they would not bear burden of others– in glaring contrast to Christianity’s “original”/”inherited” sin in which EVERYONE AUTOMATICALLY INHERITS ADAM’S SIN.

Whereas the Shepherds are sinners, and punished, because they commit the unGodly act of leading others astray; what unGodly act has the helpless and morally and intellectually non-competent fetus/baby commit so that Christianity should adulterate, and punish, him/her a “sinner”?

19. Allāh instructs the Prophet in Qur’an 3:61 to invite the Christians to:
“Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves – then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allah upon those who lie.”
ANSWER:
Regarding this verse (Qur’an 3:61).
In one event of his mission the Prophet was engaged in a discussion with Christians about their claim that Jesus was God. (For the full discussion see Christians of Najran & Prophet Mohammad).
During this discussion Allāh revealed to the Prophet Mohammad (Qur’an 3:61) to invite the Christians: “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves – then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allah upon those who lie.”

While this verse invites the Christians to invoke Allah’s curse upon anyone who was lying, it does not invoke this curse upon the Christians’ innocent family.
As noted in the discussion the Christian leader was speaking on behalf of the entire delegation. (Which is even done in modern societies).
As Islam holds only those of mature intellect to be capable of rendering decision–(Qur’an 4:6; Abu Dawud Vol. 3, #’s 4384-4389), it is obvious that these sons and women would be mature. And as they have joined with their menfolk to whom they assign leadership to speak on their behalf of the faith they have chosen to follow, thus, the decision/prayer of their leader is binding on them as if they themselves have spoken/prayed on their behalf.

Thus these partaking women and sons do not “suffer for a lie” their leaders uttered, they are/were fully cognizant of the topic under discussion.
(If the leaders include immature family members in their group these immature ones would not be held responsible for the action(s) of their leaders, as per the teaching of Islam as noted).

The Quran nowhere accepts that people are suffering because of Adam’s sin and that persons do bear the burdens of others (except those who lead others astray).

Neither does the Bible –God or Jesus– teach these heinous doctrines of original/inherited sin and vicarious atonement.

20. In His Qur’an 37:107 Allah ransomed Abraham’s son of sacrifice, Ishmael, with an animal.
ANSWER:
This animal that Allāh had Abraham sacrificed was not a “victim” that died in the place of Ishmael. Allāh did NOT ransomed Ishmael from death by providing a “substitute;” Ishmael was not guilty of any crime.
It was not Allāh’s intention to have Ishmael killed.

It is doubtful that a person knows the extent of his knowledge until/unless he is put under examination. Likewise it is doubtful that a person knows the strength/depth of his faith until he is put to test/trial.
Abraham was shown the depth of his faith by being asked in a vision/dream to sacrifice his then only son, Ishmael, NOT that Allāh actually wanted Abraham to kill Ishmael. When Abraham was about to sacrifice Ishmael:
“We called out to him saying, O Abraham, Thou hast indeed fulfilled the vision. Thus do We reward the doers of good. Surely this is a manifest trial. And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice. And We granted him among the later generations (the salutation), Peace be to Abraham!”–(Qur’an 37:100-109).

Allāh having Abraham sacrifice an animal after Abraham’s trial was not without purpose. Allāh gave this “sacrifice” to Muslims in the Hajj/pilgrimage to commemorate in honor of Abraham’s faith. The significance being, just as how we have control over the animal Allāh has control over us and are to submit ourselves to Him.

Equally significant. Contrary to the Bible which shows that Abraham tried to deceive Ishmael into this sacrifice–(Genesis 22:1-8), Allāh revealed that Abraham and Ishmael both consented to this sacrifice.
How then is Islam’s Abraham’s trial to sacrifice Ishmael conflated with Christianity’s original sin and vicarious atonement, and in which the fetuses in their mother’s wombs had no say in the matter as well as the scapegoat Jesus had no say in the matter?

21. The Prophet allowed individuals to perform good deeds on behalf of parents and others, such as Hajj and the giving of charity as well as fulfilling their oath; which Allāh will credit to the person on whose behalf the deed is performed. For example the Prophet is reported as saying:
“Perform Hajj ON HER (mother) BEHALF. Had there been a debt on your mother, would you have paid it or not? So, pay Allah’s debt as He has more right to be paid.”
ANSWER:
These “proxy” acts in Islam are not similar to “vicarious atonement.”
According to Webster’s Seventh Collegiate Dictionary (1976), Atone is “to become reconciled,” “to supply satisfaction for,” “to make amends;” and the non-Christian related definition for Atonement is the “reparation of an offense or injury.”

Prophet Mohammad says that whoever desires to do a good deed, not to prevent him. And to perform Hajj or any other good deed on behalf of a person could hardly be said to be similar to “original” sin and/or vicarious atonement. Or that it is “to become reconciled” with God or “to supply satisfaction for,” or “to make amends;” or is a “reparation of an offense or injury.”

A person atones for committing a wrong or sin or mistake – making an oath to do a good deed is not a “sin.”
Being unable to repay a debt or fulfill a promise to make the hajj because you die before you could do so is not a wrong or sin or mistake. Thus, one who fulfills these promises/debts on your behalf is not making up for a wrong or sin or mistake.

As the deceased person were not able to fulfil his oath (of sacrifice or hajj or whatever) the Prophet, rightly instructed the child to perform the act on his/her parents (or another’s) behalf, which is a good deed.
Children performing hajj and other acts on behalf of their parents/others, whether alive or deceased, is not to free their parents of any sin; their acts are voluntary not compulsory (as original sin and vicarious atonement are).
It is gross libel to charge that Allāh would hold a person responsible for not fulfilling his/her oath when He gives the person death (or the person is killed) before the person could have done so.
It is not only baseless but absurd to equate these allowances by the Prophet which are voluntary acts to the Christian’s vicarious atonement which is a cardinal doctrine of Christianity.

Even if these actions by relatives on behalf of their parents and other relations were “vicarious” acts, let the Christian show in the Bible where God says He puts Adam’s sin onto man and then had Jesus killed for this sin, so that the Christian should equate these Muslim acts with the Christian doctrines of “original”/”inherited” sin and vicarious atonement.

Further, Allah and His Prophet prohibits us from even praying at the times the pagans worshipped the sun –while it is rising and setting on the horizon and directly overhead.
It is a colossal error to cerebrate that Allāh and His Messenger would then enjoin on us practices that ape the Christian belief of “vicarious atonement” which attributes gross injustice to God and makes God complicit in murder and denies God His Attributes of Rahman and Raheem –His “utmost degree of love and generosity” and “unbounded and constant favor and mercy.”

Muslims who hold the view that Hajj and other acts on behalf of parents and others to be like the Christian “vicarious atonement” need to revisit the Qur’an and hadith.

Even if the Qur’an had taught original sin and vicarious atonement; yet the Christian cannot show in the Bible that God says He puts Adam’s sin onto mankind and had Jesus killed for this sin.
And as already stated. Even if Hadith had taught original/inherited sin and vicarious atonement they would be in contradiction with the Qur’an and would have to be discarded. The Qur’an supersedes all other sources of guidance. And Allāh rejects Sonship of God (and so does the Bible as Jesus is only CALLED son of God) and denies that Jesus was crucified/killed (and so do the Bible and Jesus, as noted in item #5, and which fact the Church is aware of, see Jesus-inherited sin to ascension; Christianity-a fake).

It is astounding the lengths to which Christians stretch themselves to prove their assumptions and inventions of “original sin’ and vicarious atonement and toss behind their backs Jesus’ clear, unambiguous and unequivocal teaching that he was sent only for Jews and that eternal life lies in following the Mosaic Law until the arrival of the Comforter who will guide into “all truth” and abide for ever.”

Jesus says: “But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath NEVER forgiveness but is in danger of ETERNAL DAMNATION”–(Mark 3:29). And damnation is “hell.”
Do Christian’s not “fear him (God) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell”–(Matthew 10:28)?
Do Christian’s not fear the “everlasting fire” that “never shall be quenched;” the “furnace of fire” in which there shall be “wailing and gnashing of teeth”–(Matthew 18:8; Mark 9:43; Matthew 23:14, 33; 13:42)?

Heaven lies in following clearly expressed Divine instructions, not in following human assumptions and inventions.
The Divine truth is Jesus was only a prophet of God sent wholly and solely only for Jews and “There is no God but Allāh; Mohammad is the Messenger of Allāh!”

                    NOTES
1. Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din, The Sources of Christianity, p. 7.
2. That Son of God belief is paganism is proved beyond any doubt, see Allāh and Jesus or Paul; Christianity is Paganism.

3. That Prophet Mohammad is the Comforter foretold by Jesus. Jesus says the Father will send this “another Comforter.” If the Holy Ghost/Spirit is the Comforter and as Jesus is said to be God –Father, Son and Holy Ghost– Jesus would be sending himself and God and the Holy Ghost back to earth.
Christians do not know what or who the Holy Ghost is. Prof. Abdul Ahad Dawud B.D. –“the former Reverend David Benjamin Keldani, B.D., a Roman Catholic priest of the Uniate-Chaldean sect”– points out: “The Holy Spirit, in all the Christian literature of diverse languages, has not a fixed gender. He, she, it, are all commonly used as the personal pronouns for the Holy Ghost;” And

“The Comforter –the Spirit of Truth– spoken of by Jesus was no other than Muhammad himself. It cannot be taken as the Holy Ghost, as the Church theology says. “It is expedient for you that I go away,” says Jesus, “for if I go not away the Comforter will not come unto you, but if I depart I will send him unto you”(John 16:7). The words clearly show that the Comforter had to come after the departure of Jesus, and was not with him when he uttered these words. Are we to presume that Jesus was devoid of the Holy Ghost if his coming was conditional on the going of Jesus: besides, the way in which Jesus describes him makes him a human being, not a ghost. “He shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear that he shall speak” (John 16:13). Should we presume that the Holy Ghost and God are two distinct entities and that the Holy Ghost speaks of himself and also what he hears from God? The words of Jesus clearly refer to some messenger from God. He calls him the Spirit of Truth, and so the Qur‘an speaks of Muhammad, “Nay, he has come with the Truth and verified the apostles” (Qur’an 37:37). (Muhammad In The Bible, p. 6).

And Malik Ghulam Farid notes in his commentary (3037):
“The above prophecy in the Gospel of John closely resembles the prophecy mentioned in the verse under comment (Qur’an 61:6) except that instead of Ahmad the name stated therein (in the Gospel) is Paraclete (Comforter)…Jesus spoke both Aramaic and Hebrew. Aramaic was his mother tongue and Hebrew his religious language. The present Biblical version is the translation of Aramaic and Hebrew into Greek…The Greek language has another word, i.e., Periklutos, with a simi-lar meaning as Ahmad in Arabic. Jack Finegan, the renowned Christian theologian, in his book, “The Archaeology of World Religions,” says: ‘Where in Greek the word Parakletos (Comforter) is very similar to Periklutos (renowned), the latter word being the meaning of the names Ahmad and Muhammad.’
Moreover, “The Damascus Document”, a scripture discovered towards the end of the nineteenth century in Ezra synagogue, Old Cairo, (p.2), described Jesus as having foretold the advent of a “Holy Spirit”, named Emeth: And by His Messiah, He has made them know His Holy Spirit. For it is he who is Emeth, i.e., the Truthful One, and in accordance with His name are also theirs… “Emeth” in Hebrew means “the Truth”, or “the Truthful One and a person of constant goodness” (Strachan’s Fourth Gospel, p. 141). This word was interpreted by the Jews as “God’s Seal.” Naturally, though Jesus must have used the name Ahmad, the phonetic resemblance between the two words (Ahmad and Emeth) led later writers to substitute “Emeth” for Ahmad, its Hebrew synonym. Thus the prophecy mentioned in the verse (of John) applies to the Holy Prophet” (Mohammad).
We are yet to hear of a Holy Ghost/Spirit named Ahmad or Emeth “the truth” or “the Truthful One and a person of constant goodness.”
