ANTI-SEMITISM
What is Semitism? Is anti-Semitism fact or fiction?
One source states: “Semite, (is) name given in the 19th century to a member of any people who speak one of the Semitic languages, a family of languages spoken primarily in parts of western Asia and Africa.”* (So, Pakistanis and other Muslims who speak the Semitic language, Arabic, are also covered under the umbrella of “Semite” and can make charges of anti-Semitism against them [?]).
Whereas the definition of “Semite” was coined “in the 19th century”. The word Semite comes “From Semite + -ic (18th century), from German semitisch, from Ancient Greek Σημ (Sēm), from the Hebrew שֵׁם (Šēm, “Shem”), the name of the eldest son of Noah in biblical tradition (Genesis 5.32, 6.10, 10.21), considered the forefather of the Semitic peoples.”* (*Two quotes from Google search).
Noah had three sons Shem, Ham and Japheth. After the Flood these sons and their descendants populated various parts of the world–(Genesis 10:1-31). The word “Semite” comes from “Shem” the son of Noah. (Japheth’s descendants are the Europeans, known as Gentiles. Notably, all non-Jews are categorized as “Gentiles”).
The argument, as touted by one quarter, that “anti-Semitic” is defined as hatred towards Jews because the word originated in Germany in the late 1800s in order to give Jew-hating a more scientific name, is ludicrous.
Anyone can put whatever construction he likes to “anti-Semitic”. Fact is, “Semite” is a Biblical/historical term applied to the descendants of Shem, and cannot be restricted to Jews. “Anti-Semitism” also applies to Arabs and Ethiopians.
Arthur Koestler in his book, The Thirteenth Tribe, theorized, convincingly so, that the Khazar –a Turkish tribe– that converted to Judaism in the eighth century may be the ascendants of modern World Jewry. Though his attempt to follow the history of the Khazar Empire is based on insufficient available materials, Koestler has endeavored to show that anthropological evidence agrees with history in negating the accepted belief in a Jewish race of Biblical lineage; he also points out that the large majority of existing Jews is of “Eastern European” ancestry.
If there is no Biblical Jew, i.e. no Semitic Jewish race, the term “anti-Semitism” would be meaningless. (In which event, those who occupy Palestine would not be Jews —not descendants of Judah and Jacob).
The only Semitic race today is Arabs and perhaps Ethiopians.
One who claims to be a “Semite” or make a charge of anti-Semite/anti-Semitism would have to establish his descent from Shem. Do those who claim to be semites/Shemites have Shem’s DNA to compare with their own to prove descent from Shem? And what proof do they have that the DNA they have is that of Shem?
PARAMOUNTLY: Rather than offer protection to certain parties. Hatred, harm and/or injury directed against any person/people because of race, color, creed, nationality, gender or sexual orientation is to be criminalzed under international law. (See Islam-homosexuals & lesbians).
WHO IS A JEW?
“Who is a Jew”, the debate rages.
Is there a “pure” Jewish race?
Prophet Jacob (renamed Israel by God–Genesis 32:28), had twelve sons –known as the Twelve Tribes of Israel: Reuben; Simeon; Levi (whose descendants are called Levites); Judah (whose descendants are called Jews); Dan; Naphtali; Gad; Asher; Issachar; Zebulun; Benjamin (whose descendants are called Benjamites or Benjaminites) and Joseph-(Exodus 1:1-5).
While these Twelve Sons/Tribes are collectively called “Children of Israel (Jacob)” they each are individually distinct according to their lineage. In other words whereas all Jews and all Levites etc are Children of Israel, all Children of Israel are NOT Jews or Levites etc.
Thus, contrary to popular usage of the word “Jew” it needs to be identified if they are all descendants of the house/tribe of “Judah” (it is perhaps impossible for a “Jew” to identify himself/herself with a specific tribe of Israel/Jacob).
Even from the inception the “pure” Jewish gene seemed destined for extinction. Isaac –the lineage through which Judaism emerged– was born in Gerar (in Canaan/Palestine)–(Genesis 20:2; 21:5). He took Rebecca, a Syrian, a non-Jew, for wife–Genesis 25:20).
Isaac, at the age of sixty, was given two sons, Esau and Jacob (who would have non-Jew genes, on account of their mother, Rebecca, a Syrian)–(Genesis 25:20, 26).
Thus, in sixty years Abraham’s family circle increased by only three –his daughter-in-law and two grandsons, (not counting Ishmael who was in Paran/Arabia).
Isaac sent Jacob -through whom the Twelve Tribes of Israel were established- to Haran (in Turkey) to find a wife–(Genesis 28:1, 10; 29:1-4). Jacob married Rachel and Leah, daughters of Laban, a Syrian, who was also his (Jacob’s) mother’s brother–(Genesis 28:5; 29:10-35). Jacob’s wives, clearly, were also non-Jewish. These eight sons –Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar and Zabulon; and Joseph and Benjamin, respectively– borne by Leah and Rachel were not of pure Jewish genes. This would make these eight, of the total twelve founders of the Tribes of Israel, to be of mixed genes–(Genesis 29:32-35; 30:17-20; 30:22-24; 35:16-18). But the matter does not end here.
Jacobs’ wives, Rachel and Leah, gave their respective handmaids, Bilhah and Zilpah, to Jacob to raise children–(Genesis 30:1-9). These handmaids, Bilhah and Zilpah, were “slave-girls”. These “slave-girls” originally belonged to Rachel’s and Leah’s father, Laban, the Syrian (who was not Jewish)–(Genesis 29:24, 29). It would seem obvious that these handmaids/”slave-girls” were also non-Jews.
These handmaids, Bilhah and Zilpah, each bore Jacob two sons –Dan and Naphtali, and Gad and Asher, respectively–(Genesis 30:3-13). And three of these sons born of these two handmaids were also founders of tribes of Israel –Dan was not a founder of a tribe. Joseph’s son, Manasseh, was founder of a tribe, making up the total Twelve Tribes. There is differing view as to whether Joseph was a founder or his other son, Ephraim.
Thus we have Jacob’s eight sons from his Syrian, non-Jewish, wives, plus three of his sons from his wives’ handmaids and his grandson, Manasseh, making up the twelve founders of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, all being of non-Jewish genes. And the twelve Tribes have not yet officially been designated as such; and this some two thousand years before Christ.
Again, the Bible tells us that Simeon married a Canaanitish woman (who was non-Jewish)–(Genesis 46:10), and that Joseph married the Egyptian, Asenath, daughter of Potiphar, and had two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim–(Genesis 41:45, 50-52). Simeon, Joseph and Manasseh were all founders of tribes of Israel.
If children are joined by their mothers only, children born to these non-Israelite/non-Jewish wives would be out of the tent of “Children of Israel,” on account of Simeon’s wife being Canaanitish, Asenath being Egyptian, and Manasseh being of a non-Jewish mother.
Even if Manasseh’s wife was Jewish, his children and future descendants would not be “pure” Jewish, he being, in the first place, of mixed birth.
Even if children are joined by either parent, there would still be the case of the non-Jewish genes in their make-up. Which brings us to Judah, one of Jacob’s twelve sons, and the one from which Judaism emerged and the term “Jew.”
Judah was married to a Canaanite (non-Jewish) woman, who bore him three sons, two of whom died; and his daughter-in-law, Tamar, who also must have been Canaanite, bore Judah two sons–(Genesis 38:2; 11-30). Thus, even Judah’s descendants are not of pure “Jewish” genes.
Even if we take these twelve children of Jacob to be the base of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, regardless of the ethnicity of his wives and handmaids, there was still the possibility of the “purity” of these tribes being mixed with non-Jewish genes, through inter-marriage among the tribes; on account of Simeon’s wife being Canaanitish, and Joseph’s being Egyptian, and Manasseh having Egyptian genes in his make-up.
With such intermarriages and considering that the total members of the tribes were few –at the time of his journey to reunite with Joseph in Egypt, Jacob had only about seventy members in his family circle, excluding his daughters-in-law–(Genesis 46:27)– it would not take much for the entire family of the first hundred years, to be completely of mixed genes.
By the time Moses appeared on the scene –(14th–13th century B.C.)– the “purity” of the Twelve Tribes of Israel may already have been on its journey to extinction or at least massive dissolution.
History notes that around 930 B.C. the tribe of Ephraim, after successfully leading the ten northern tribes of Israel against the south, and reigning; the kingdom was conquered by the Assyrians in 721 B.C., which lead to the “eventual disappearance” of these ten tribes –the tribe of Ephraim and the nine others–(Ency. Britannica,15th Ed; Vol. III, Ephraim, tribe of, p. 919).
Having lost their identity and dispersed among other peoples, it is possible that the “pure” Jewish genes, what was there of it, was further diluted through this intermixing.
According to Exodus 1:6: “Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.” Which means their “Jewish” gene died with them. In which event their genes which was inherited by non-Jews would be subject to further dilution.
During their bondage, Pharaoh killed their sons and let their daughters live–(Exodus 1:15-22; Qur’an 2:49). It is not improbable that Jewish women were violated during their term of servitude by their Egyptian “taskmasters.” (who were not Jewish/Israelite). Resulting in more dilution of the pure “Jewish/Israelite” genes.
Even during and after their liberation from Pharaoh, diluting of the “pure” Jewish genes took place. The Bible tells us that Moses, a Levite, married non-Jewish women –a Midianite, Zipporah, who bore him two sons; and to an Ethiopian (Exodus 2:16, 21-22; 4:22; 18:2-4; and Numbers 12:1; respectively). These sons, Gershom and Eliezer, would have mixed genes, which they would pass on. Further diluting the pure Jewish/Israelite gene pool.
Even King David, who came from the house of Judah, may not have been of “pure” Jewish genes on account of his ancestors, Isaac, Jacob and Judah, all having had wives outside of the Judaic tent.
David himself had sons from “concubines”–(1 Chronicles 3:9). The Bible tells us that David married Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah, a Hittite; and she bore him (king) Solomon–(2 Samuel 11:1-5; 27; 12:24). Though Bathsheba’s nationality is not given, it is reasonable to assume that, like her husband, she also was Hittite (a non-Jewish people). Thus Solomon also may not have been of “pure” Jewish genes. Adding to the already diluted pool of Jewish “pure” genes.
Apart from their bondage by Pharaoh (for some three hundred years?), in which their sons were killed and daughters spared, it is also a fact that Jerusalem was destroyed twice –by the Babylonians and the Romans, respectively. It is doubtful that Jewish daughters were not violated during these times of bondage and captivity and producing offspring. Resulting once again in outside genes entering into the pool of already mixed/diluted “Jewish” genes.
Plus, Jews being “scatter(ed) among the heathen, and disperse(d)” in the countries–(Ezekiel 22:15), which may have generated more inter-racial marriages. By the time Jesus appeared, Jewish “pure” blood was already on its way to extinction. If not already extinct. In fact, given that, as noted above, Judah married a non-Jewish, Canaanite, woman, Jesus also may not have been of “pure” Jewish genes.
With such history, it could hardly be denied that very few, if any, of the pure descendants of Jacob are in existence today. Perhaps it is because of this it is stated: “Citizens of the State of Israel are called Israelis, a term carrying no ethnological or religious connotations”–(Ency, Britannica, 15th Ed., Vol. V, p. 552. Color, emphasis added).
Whether Jewish/Israelite children are joined by/through their fathers or their mothers, it is doubtful that there is a “pure” Jewish gene pool in existence. Or even a fifty or twenty-five percent percent “pure” Jewish gene pool.
Like the word “anti-Semitism” being meaningless, as the horn of history unclogs, she may clearly sound the seemingly muffled truth that, Biblically, there is no Jew.
SIGNIFICANTLY: Since a “Jew”/“Israelite” is one who is descended from Judah/Israel, a gentile convert to the religion of Judaism does not, and cannot, become a “Jew”/“Israelite” -converting to Judaism does not automatically make one a “Jew”/ “Israelite”; to be a “Jew”/“Israelite one, necessarily, must be born in/from that lineage. One who claims to be a “Jew” would have to establish his descent from Judah/Jacob. Do those who claim to be “Jews” have Judah’s/Jacob’s DNA to compare with their own to prove descent from Judah/Jacob? And what proof do they have that the DNA they have is that of Judah/Jacob?
HOLOCAUST
(Yad Vashem is said to be “Israel’s principal Holocaust research center”). Regarding the “Holocaust”. it is stated:
“Yad Vashem….relies on testimony from family and friends of those who perished, official archives from the period, and local commemoration projects. As of early 2012, Yad Vashem estimated that the database contained the names of a little over four million different individuals (an exact number is not yet possible because it believes that some hundreds of thousands of people appear in multiple records) …..“Six million” is not, and was never intended to be, a precise accounting. But the number, which has now been part of the public consciousness for more than 50 years, would never have continued to be cited if it did not mirror the scholarly tallies that have followed in the succeeding decades, and confirmed that rough figure.” (https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2022-01-27/ty-article/6-million-where -is-the-figure-from/0000017f-da74-dea8-a77f-de761f480000) (Emphasis added). (Seems odd, Germans would document/preserve records of people they were annihilating. And how trustworthy are the words of German captives to say how many Jews were killed).

Since “Six million” is not, and was never intended to be, a precise accounting” why perpetuate/enforce “six million”?
While the ideal would have been to count “six million” “Jewish” bodies taken from German’s concentration camps, gas chambers, etc. Whether “six million” Jews were killed or sixty million, should denial of the Holocaust be criminalized and doubters of the “six million” killed be vilified/ridiculed?
When one is forced to believe and is subjected to Judiciary for denying a thing the truth of such a thing becomes highly suspect.
If an event or doctrine is truth there is no necessity to legislate belief in it or to criminalize question or denial of it; proponents and opponents alike must provide proof of their claim and let the public judge who is truthful and who is liar.
To institute a law against denial of a thing is an abomination and an insult to the intellectuals and to all members of society –it may be equated with tyranny; and may be an avenue to other such legislation(s).
Laws do not prevent people from being violated: laws can only bring violators to justice; laws do not sanctify or justify a claim: truth does.
Forcing people to not speak out only serves to silence voices: it does not change mentality. Such a law may bring more harm than benefit –it may attract more opposition to the “truth” it professes to protect.
It is a monumental disgrace that “civilized” society would allow such a law to be instituted. Such a law is repugnant to reason. And is to be repealed. Forthwith!
