WOMAN AND MAN NOT EQUAL
\n<\/span>Woman is NOT equal with man
\nMan is NOT equal with woman.|
\nMan and woman have EQUAL rights!<\/span><\/p>\n

All\u0101h created man and woman physically and physiologically different. Seems All\u0101h also created man and woman different mentally. The Toronto<\/em> Star<\/em> Thursday, December 12, 2013 (p. L6) notes in the article Men, Women are wired differently<\/em>, from the Washington Post, reports that \u201cWomen\u2019s and men\u2019s brains are wired differently, in ways that seem to match the stereotypes.\u201d
\nThe test conducted at the University of Pennsylvania \u201cfocused on two regions: the cortex, involved in thought, perception and language; and the cerebellum, which co-ordinates movement.\u201d
\nThe findings were that while females were more connected to one side of the brain males were more connected to the opposite side.
\nIn males, these differences seem to \u201cpromote coordinated movement, which males can generally do faster in tests.\u201d\u00a0While in females it \u201cmight reflect a superior ability to process emotions and understand others\u2019 intentions.\u201d<\/p>\n

While All\u0101h created man and woman differently for their specific functions (and woman has three degrees of excellence over man \u2013she carries us for nine months, gives birth, and nurses us) All\u0101h has given man and woman equal rights:
\n(1)<\/span> Both are created from the same substance\u2013(Qur\u2019an 4:1; 7:189, this verse establishes that from the beginning women have equality with men<\/span>).
\n(2)<\/span> Man and woman are friends and protectors of the other\u2013(Qur\u2019an 9:71).
\n(3)<\/span> Man and woman are garments to the other (to protect, comfort, beautify, and to cover each other\u2019s faults)\u2013(Qur\u2019an 2:187).
\n(4)<\/span> Woman has rights as those against her\u2013(Qur\u2019an 2:228).
\n(5)<\/span> For woman is what she earns and for man is what he earns and men are maintainers of women\u2013(Qur\u2019an 4:7, 11, 177; 4:32).<\/p>\n

Man and woman also have moral and spiritual equality:
\n“And whoever does good deeds, whether MALE OR FEMALE, and he (or she) is a believer \u2013these will enter the Garden,\u00a0and they will NOT be dealt with a whit unjustly\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an\u00a04:124);
\n\u201cSurely the men who submit and the women <\/em>who submit,\u00a0 and the believing men and the believing women<\/em>, and the obeying men and the obeying women,<\/em> and the truthful\u00a0men and the truthful women<\/em>, and the patient men and the\u00a0patient women,<\/em> and the humble men and the humble women,<\/em> and the almsgiving men and the almsgiving women, <\/em>and the fasting men and the fasting women,<\/em> and the men\u00a0who guard their private parts and the women <\/em>who guard,\u00a0and the men who remember All\u0101h much and the women\u00a0<\/em>who remember\u00ad \u2013All\u0101h has prepared for THEM <\/span>FORGIVENESS\u00a0AND A MIGHTY REWARD<\/span>\u201d \u2013(Qur\u2019an 33:35).<\/p>\n

Muhammad Ali has noted in his The Religion of Islam<\/em>: \u201cA study of the Tradition literature shows that, notwithstanding her rightful position in the home, as the bringer up of children and manager of the household, woman took interest in all the national activities of the Muslim community.\u201d
\nWomen took part in \u201ccongregational prayers,\u201d \u201cjoin(ed) the soldiers in the field of battle\u201d\u2013\u201ccarrying of provisions, taking care of the sick and wounded, removing the wounded and the slain from the battlefield, or taking part in actual fighting when necessary.\u201d
\n\u201cWomen also helped their husbands in the labour of the field, served the male guests at a feast and carried on business, they could sell to and purchase from men, and men could sell to and purchase from them.
\nA woman was appointed by the Caliph \u2018Umar as superintendent of the market of Madinah.\u201d (pp. 628-629). (Bukhari, 56:66, 67, 68; 56:62, 63, 65; F.B. III, p. 228; Bukhari, 67:108, 78; 11:40; 34:67).<\/p>\n

\u201cA woman is also spoken of as acting as an Imam, while men followed her, though it was in her own house.\u201d (Abu Dawud 2:58. The Religion of Islam<\/em>, p.385).
\nThe Prophet\u2019s wife, \u2018Aisha, who probably knew the Qur\u2019an more than any other, lead an army against the assassins of the Caliph \u2018Uthman, as noted by Muhammad Ali in his The Early Caliphate. <\/em>Also, regarding \u2018Aisha\u2019s opposition to \u2018Ali and leading this army, Muhammad Ali notes that if \u201cshe had any design on the Caliphate\u2026\u201d It could not be suggested that \u2018Aisha \u201chad any design\u201d\u2013i.e. any intention on being ruler\u2013<\/em> on the Caliphate if woman was excluded from being \u201chead of state.\u201d (p. 182).<\/p>\n

Perhaps the above positions held by women may be claimed to be exceptions, but it does highlight that all professions were open to the Woman of Islam. The reason why some positions such as head of state, leader of the armed forces, imam and judge are not delegated to women can be explained.<\/p>\n

Unlike other subordinate positions, leadership is a full time responsibility to the community. If Woman is exempt from these positions (at least in her child-bearing years)<\/em>, it is not because All\u0101h God or Islam discriminates against her on account of her sex; it is only because of her nature.
\nFor it is Woman who experiences menstruation, which is a time of ceremonial impurity and perhaps of pain; pregnancy and its discomforts and restrictions; childbirth and post-natal care; and caring for the child; all of which would leave her absent for these vital services to society.
\nPerhaps it is for the above reasons also that Woman is not appointed the role of prophethood, though All\u0101h, God, did give revelation to Moses\u2019 mother\u2013(Qur\u2019an 20:38-39; 28:7).<\/p>\n

Muhammad Ali notes in his The Early Caliphate<\/em> that \u2018Umar, \u201cWhen as a Caliph he made education compulsory in Arabia, it was made so for both boys and girls\u201d\u2013(p. 120).
\nAnd the Prophet advised the educating even of slave-girls\u2013(Bokhari Vol.; 3 #720. Vol 4, #655. All\u0101h is Just. All\u0101h will not discriminate against Woman because of her gender \u2013a factor she had no control over; a form and physiology He gave her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As to those who seek public office. All\u0101h enjoins that positions be given only to those who qualify: \u201cSurely All\u0101h commands you to make over trusts to those worthy of them, and that when you judge between people, you judge with justice\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 4:58).<\/p>\n

And Prophet Mohammad is reported to have said: \u201cWe do not assign the authority of ruling to those who ask for it, nor to those who are keen to have it\u201d\u2013(Bokhari, Vol. 9, # 263).
\nThe Prophet is reported to have told Abdur-Rahman bin Samura not to \u201cseek to be a ruler, for if you are given authority on your demand then you will be held responsible for it, but if you are given it without asking (for it), then you will be helped (by Allah) in it. If you ever take an oath to do something and later on you find that something else is better, then you should expiate your oath and do what is better\u201d\u2013(Bokhari, Vol. 9, # 260).
\nAnd, \u201cAny man whom Allah has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look after them in an honest manner, will never feel even the smell of Paradise\u201d\u2013(Ibid.<\/em> Vol. 9 # 264).<\/p>\n

Islam has given woman rights alongside man from birth all the way to Jannah. Islam esteems womanhood as symbol of purity and motherhood as gateway to Paradise.
\nMuslim \u2018feminists\u201d need to talk less and use their heads more \u2013they are kindling their Hell fire with their tongues.<\/span> These so-called \u201cfeminists\u201d are to trash their placards and learn Islam.<\/p>\n

This is what the Muslim women of today need to do: they need to learn Islam and assert themselves and demand from their arrogant and\/or ignorant leaders their All\u0101h-given rights. Rather than dwell in ignorance and post nude photo(s) of themselves on the Int<\/em>ernet (as one Egyptian young woman1<\/sup><\/span> did) in protest against\u00a0Islam<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Shari\u2019ah<\/a><\/span>.
\nThis sister who posted nude picture of herself on the Internet<\/em> needs to know she is undressing herself for the Fire.<\/p>\n

Women who are wearing jeans under their over-garment in revolt against Islam must know that they are dressing themselves for the Fire. There is nothing in Islam to protest against \u2013Islam regards womanhood as the symbol of purity; and motherhood as the gateway to Paradise.<\/p>\n

Whereas choosing to not wear the\u00a0Hijab\/head covering<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(and jalaba) is one matter, why would the Muslim woman desirous of All\u0101h\u2019s everlasting grandeur revile (and even militate against) the hijab?
\nRevolt against the hijab is revolt against Islam; revolt against Islam is revolt against All\u0101h; revolt against All\u0101h is the Sureway to Hell-fire.<\/p>\n

These Muslims as well as those who have apostatized from Islam have the grand opportunity while you are alive to repent and to return to All\u0101h. When you die, and as no one knows the time of his\/her death the sooner you repent the better, there is no second chance: this grand opportunity evaporates like a dewdrop in Hell.<\/p>\n
