Burning and desecrating\/defacing the Qur\u2019an is amusing. And ignorance.<\/span>
\nMuslims demonstrating against this burning of the Qur\u2019an and leaders exhorting governments to curb Qur\u2019an burning is pathetic. This exposes the inability of these Muslims to extol the magnificence of Islam.
\nIslam does not seek to silence voices; Islam, the religion of reason argument and examples, seeks to enhance mentality: “Call to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the best manner”-(Qur’an 16:125).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rather than burn a copy of the Qur\u2019an we invite \u201cQur\u2019an-burners\u201d to incinerate a million copies\u00a0\u2013make a mountain of your protest.<\/span> We will sell you the million Qur\u2019ans at the reasonable discounted price of only $20 U.S. per copy. After we have deposited your $20 million US into our account\u00a0\u2013laughing all the way to and from\u00a0Credit Suisse<\/em>\u2013<\/span> we have just two challenges for you:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. To which revealed Scripture are you comparing the Qur\u2019an.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. \u00a0Prove a religion superior to, or equal with, Islam, we will follow whatever you follow. But as you cannot prove\u00a0\u2013and no one can prove\u2013<\/span> you will follow Islam.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    HERE ARE SOME OF THE TEACHINGS OF THE\u00a0 QUR’AN THAT THE\u00a0 QUR’AN-BURNERS HATE OR ARE IGNORANT OF (when checking Qur’anic references please check a few verses before or after the ones noted, as numbering among translators may vary)<\/span>:
    \n<\/span>
    \n\u2013the fulfilling of covenants, keeping of oaths and not to be deceptive (16:91-92); to speak justly (6:153); to be righteous (2:277-278; 6:152-154); to not let hatred for a people incite you to transgress (5:2); to render back trusts to whom they are due, and to judge justly (4:58); because Allah God loves those who judge in equity (5:45-47)<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u2013not to deal unjustly with men (2:279, 5:8); and not to rob them of their dues (26:183); to give justice even if it be against one\u2019s self or parents or kins or whether he be poor or rich (4:135), encourages the feeding of the needy and the poor, to free the captives, to help those in debt, to care for the orphans, the wayfarer, and to free the slaves (9:60, 2:177), not to act corruptly in the earth or to make mischief (26:183); not to be transgressors (2:190), not to help one another in sin and aggression (5:2), to restrain our anger and forgive others (3:133), to fight on behalf of the oppressed (4:75); because Allah God loves those who are just, and because He commands justice and the doing of good, and He forbids injustice (60:8, 16:90)<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u2013forbiddance against helping one another in sin, and to counsel one another in sin, but in goodness (5:2; 60:8-9); not to take a greater recompense than the injury suffered (2:194; 16:126; 42:40); that instead of retaliation, to make reconciliation, and to show patience and forgiveness (16:126; 42:39-43); to be merciful and forgiving (3:133); to fight only as long as there is persecution and oppression (2:193), and to make peace when the enemy desires peace (4:90, 8:61); because Allah God loves the doer of good, and the dutiful (2:195, 3:75)<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u2013that all men are created equal (95:4), that we are made into different tribes and nations that we may know one another (49:13), that we are to be judged not by our race, color or nationality but by our deeds (6:133), that angels ask forgiveness for all mankind (42:5), that the noblest ones are those who are righteous (49:13, 98:7), not to let hatred of a people incite you to transgress, and to help one another in righteousness and help not each other in sin and aggression (5:2), to return evil with that which is better (23:96), to give justice (4:58; 5:8); because Allah God loves those who judge in equity, and because Allah God is aware of what you do (5:45, 4:135)<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u2013to avoid illicit carnal relations (17:32)
    \n\u2013to establish regular prayer, because prayer keeps one from indecency and evil (29:45); to give in charity, which is for relatives and orphans, the poor, needy, the wayfarer, and the freeing of slaves (2:177; 9:60)<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u2013that both man and woman were created from the same medium (4:1), and are to be life partners (25:54; 16:72; 24:32); with love and compassion between them\u2013(7:189; 30:21)
    \n\u2013that Woman has like rights with those of man \u2013the same is due to her as is due from her (2:228)<\/span>. She is a garment of man as he is her garment (to cover, protect, beautify, and comfort (2:187);<\/span> and is \u201ca fountain of love and affection\u201d\u2013(30:21); and his friend\/protector\u2013(9:71)<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u2013that women can earn, and can inherit and own property (4:32, 7, 177). and have the exclusive right to utilize her earnings however she pleases (4:4, 32); and that she is to be honored (4:1) liberates and exalts her (2:187; 4:19-22; 4:1; 9:71-72); that both Man and Woman are inheritors of Paradise (43:70; 4:124; 16:97; 33:35)<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u2013condemns compulsion (2:256); aggression (32:20); oppression, persecution (2:193; 42:42); exploitation (6:153; 26:181-184; 83:1-4)
    \n\u2013promotes peace (8:61), love (60:7-8); patience (23:111), tolerance (24:22; 45:14), and justice for all regardless of race, color or creed (4:135; 7:29; 16:90)
    \n\u2013advocates that all, regardless of race, nationality or color are equal, and that one is better than the other only through righteousness\u2013(49:13); and encourages the pursuit of knowledge to both male and female for the purpose of good uses (20:114)
    \n\u2013to fight on behalf of the oppressed (4:75); and for religious freedom, for all (8:39; 22:40).
    \n<\/span><\/p>\n

    Many of the Christians and other critics charges are mere rehash from their forefathers which have been dispensed with more than 70 years ago by Muhammad Ali (MA’s translation of the Qur\u2019an can be viewed, bought, downloaded from<\/span> www.muslim.org<\/a><\/span>).
