Women of Christianity<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Does the Bible\/Christianity <\/span>ameliorate the lot of women?<\/span><\/span>
\nKhwaja Kamal-ud-Din notes that Mohammad \u201craised Woman to such a height as she had never dreamed of before \u2013a height which leaves her nothing higher for which to strive.\u201d Khwaja points out:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBefore Islam, Woman was treated as a chattel. No religion or civilization had as yet raised her to the status that should have been her birthright. She was regarded as an evil but necessary appendage, and she received the worst treatment of all from Christianity. The story of the Temptation in the Book of Genesis, and the basic principle of the Church creed taken therefrom, damaged her position tremendously.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 In dealing with the status of Woman, Islam and Christianity stand poles apart. The one has raised her from the lowest possible depths to a level equal to that of man, at a time when her degradation knew no limit; the other thrust her back to thraldom at a time when she was beginning to emerge from it under Roman civilization. This civilization was struggling to raise her status when Christianity came like an icy blast and nipped the efforts in the very bud. This statement, though historically accurate, will surprise many amongst those who are accustomed to listen to the very different story told by Christian writers. But if even Jesus does not seem to concern himself about the female sex, and if those who immediately followed him \u2013and have since been looked upon as the builders of the Church, and filled with the Holy Ghost\u2013 did nothing to improve her condition, while their words and actions brought every odium on her; and if Christian States have continued this treatment for centuries, and, indeed until recent days, when Woman began to assert herself, how can they declare that Christianity brought an honourable position to Woman?<\/span><\/p>\n

The Hebrew Law was unfavourable to her. The Divine command, \u201cThy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee,\u201d had the effect of reducing her to the position of a chattel in the house, and so she was, in Judaic society. On the other hand, it must be remembered that Jesus did not come to destroy the Law, but to fulfil it. Whenever something appeared to him as an abuse of the Law, he expressed his disapproval of it, and tried to reform it. But in the case of Woman his silence shows that the idea of ameliorating her lot never occurred to him, though the self-indulgence of his tribe was peculiarly damaging to woman-kind. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 If Paganism supplied the idea of a suffering Deity and of a crucified Saviour, and the sad event in the life of Jesus favoured their incorporation with Christianity, the legends of the Temptation in Genesis served as a beautiful connecting link between the two. It inspired the story of the Fall of Adam, and through him, the fall of the human race \u2013a theory absolutely, and now admittedly, unknown to the Jews, but initiated by the writers of the Pauline literature to strengthen and explain the Pagan theory of redemption through blood. To that extent it acted well, but it was of no service to Woman. The whole blame of human perdition, by reason of this first sin, was laid at her door: \u201cAdam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, was in the transgression.\u201d Woman consequently could not be in the good books of those who took these expressions as the Word of God and believed in the theory of the Fall of Adam. This explains the cruel attitude which the Early Fathers and the real builders of the Church adopted towards Woman, following, as they did, in the foot\u00adsteps of St. Paul. In fact, her disgrace at the hands of these Fathers was the true and logical sequel to the Christian beliefs, of which the following is an illustration: \u201cDo you know,\u201d says Tertullian, when addressing Women, \u201cthat you are each Eve? The sentence of God on this sex of yours lives in this age; the guilt, of necessity, must live too. You are the devil\u2019s gateway; you are the unsealer of that tree; you are the first deserter of the Divine Law; you destroyed as easily God\u2019s image.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Christian apologist of modern culture, while he sees in it mediaeval savagery and wantonness, cannot rationally deny that \u201cthe pious aspersions\u201d of the Father were not without justification. The logic was simple and true. If it was believed that sin was a heritage and eternal condemnation its price \u2013and so it is believed till to-day\u2013 then eternal con\u00addemnation has come through Woman; she opened the door of all human sufferings. She is \u201cthe organ of the devil,\u201d \u201ca scorpion ever ready to sting,\u201d \u201cthe poisonous asp,\u201d \u201cthe malice of the dragon.\u201d These are some of the blessings that Woman received from persons of exalted position in the Church, such as St. Bernard, St. Anthony, St. Jerome, St. Cyprian, and St. Paul, who seem to me to be at the bottom of it. His personala<\/span> <\/sup>grudge against the sex, in consequence of his suit being rejected by a young Jewish woman, the high priest\u2019s daughter, perhaps was responsible for it. Say what you will, if \u201csin in nature\u201d is the foundation-stone of the sacramental religion, which Christianity has become \u2013the principle of atonement and of the divinity of Christ are mere corollaries of it, and then Woman deserves all that has been said by these Fathers. Present-day culture may not tolerate it, but <\/span>her real redemption lies only in exposing the falsity of these beliefs<\/span>.<\/span> And was not the Holy Prophet, even on this very point, the real benefactor of Woman, seeing that <\/span>he gave the lie to this crude theology, and took exception to the theory of sin in nature? He declared that every child was born sinless, and that in the case of the Temptation, man and woman were not respectively the tempted and the tempter, but both of them equally suffered and were equally deceived by the evil agency.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Just at the time when the Christian Church was so outrageously trampling on womanhood, and the rest of the world was treating her no less cruelly, Muhammad came to save the situation. He raised Woman to such a height as she had never dreamed of before \u2013a height which leaves her nothing higher for which to strive.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 While the Christian Fathers were harping on the slogan that woman was made for man and not man for woman, Muhammad told the world that woman was the twin-half of man, in commenting upon the Qur-anic verse, that revealed in the following words the great truth that man and woman had come from the same essence and were one and the same in that respect: \u201cO people! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord, Who created you from a single being and created its mate of the same (kind) and spread from these two, many men and women; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, by whom you demand one of another (your rights), and (to) the ties of relationship; surely Allah ever watches over you.\u201d The Qur-an gave the name of mohsina <\/i>to Woman, which meant that she was neither the \u201corgan of the devil\u201d nor his gate\u00adway, but a rocky fortress against Satan; <\/i>a lighthouse of virtue and continence that alone can save man from shipwreck while tossing among the stormy waves of passion. <\/span>The Bible says: \u201cThy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee,\u201d<\/span> but Muhammad says: \u201cWoman is the sovereign of your house.\u201d St. Paul may say: <\/span>\u201cLet the woman learn in silence, with all subjection, for I suffer not a woman to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence\u201d; but the Qur-an contradicts him when it says: \u201cWoman has like rights with those of man, \u2013the same is due to her as is due from her.\u201d She is not \u201ca scorpion ever ready to sting,\u201d but \u201ca garment of man as he is her garment\u201db<\/span><\/sup>; she is not the\u00a0<\/i>\u201cinstrument of iniquity,\u201d as these Christian Fathers call her, but, in the words of the Qur-anc<\/span><\/sup>, a fountain of love and affection. <\/span>Let Jesus say to his mother: \u201cWoman, what have I to do with thee?\u201d<\/span> \u2013put whatever construction you like on these words and come with any explanation you please, people in Christendom even to-day reflect this utterance of their Master in their actions\u2013 the affluence of sons go hand in hand with the indigence of mothers in the West \u2013mothers are discarded and disregarded\u2013 but a Muslim leaves no effort undone to pay all respect and reverence to his mother, because his Prophet Muhammad tells him: <\/span>\u201cParadise lies at the feet of a mother.\u201d<\/span> Happy marriage may be a lottery in the West, as some assert, but it makes a wife, in a Muslim house, the dearest of friends, a counterpart of man susceptible to all healthy and salutary influences. It could not well be other\u00adwise, seeing that we are bound to obey the Master who says: <\/span>\u201cThe best of you are they who behave best to their wives.\u201d<\/span> Again he says: \u201cThe best of you before God and His creation are those who are best in their own families, and I am the best to my family.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cOne of the disciples inquired of the Prophet as to what treatment should be meted out to a wife. He answered: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>“Give her to eat when you eat yourself, and clothe her when you clothe yourself; and do not slap her on the face nor abuse her, nor separate yourself from her in displeasure.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cGive your wife good counsel, and do not beat your noble wife like a slave.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cAdmonish your wives with kindness.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cA Muslim must not hate his wife; and if he be displeased with one bad quality in her, then let him be pleased with another which is good.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Just a quarter of a century after the time when the council of Christian Fathers at Nicaea were discussing whether any female could enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, and with great difficulty they had come to the conclusion that she might enter into Paradise, but that she would have to be sexless, the Qur-an brought the gospel to her in the following words:\u00ad\u2013<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cEnter into Paradise, ye and your wives\u00a0\u00a0delighted.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut whoso doeth the things that are right, whether the male or female, and is a believer, whether male or female, they shall enter into Paradise.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhoso doth that which is right, whether male or female, him or her will we quicken to happy life\u201d\u2013(43:70; 4:124; 16:97).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 When the world was doubtful whether any spiritual advancement was open to Woman at all, the Qur-an taught the following: \u201cSurely the men who submit and the women who submit, and the believing men and the believing women, and the obeying men and the obeying women, and the truthful men and the truthful women, and the patient men and the patient women, and the humble men and the humble women, and the almsgiving men and the alms-giving women, and the fasting men and the fasting women, and the men who guard their private parts and the women who guard, and the men who remember Allah much and the women who remember\u00ad \u2013Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a mighty reward.\u201d(Qur\u2019an 33:35). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 It is only utter ignorance of <\/i>Islam and blind prejudice against it that comes to the surface when our adverse critics assert that Woman, under Islam, does not possess a soul. It hardly needs any elaborate discussion to refute this piece of fool\u00adhardiness. <\/span>If a Man possesses a soul, Woman must possess one also, seeing that both are, according to the teaching of the Qur-an, of the same essence.\u201d<\/span><\/span>1<\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 That the Bible\/Christianity ameliorates the lot of woman is wild talk. Christianity does not ameliorate the lot of women. Whereas Islam has ennobled\u00a0woman<\/span><\/a> and given her rights alongside man from the cradle all the way to paradise, Christianity has woman mired in disgrace and degradation from birth to death and even beyond.
\nChristianity gives woman nothing but lifelong subjugation under the iron-fist of her\u00a0husband, brands her\u00a0as \u201ctransgressor,\u201d \u201cdeceiver\u201d and betrayer of man; makes her\u00a0an object of sexual release, curses her\u00a0as \u201cdefiler\u201d of man all the way to the next world, and sets her\u00a0up in marriage (misery) till \u201cdeath\u201d do her\u00a0part (if her\u00a0father does not first sell her\u00a0 into bondage).
\nHere are the Biblical\/Christian\u2019s gem on women, (notably, Christians, seemingly, are not practicing these laws of the Bible but their Scripture\/God requires it; and heaven\u00a0lies in following Scripture\/God)\u00a0<\/span>:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-\u201cAnd if a man SELL HIS DAUGHTER to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do\u201d\u2013(Exodus 21:7.
\nOne Christian apologist on the Internet tried to say that this verse does not mean to sell; that it is a contradiction of Deuteronomy 24:7 which requires death for a man who is \u201cfound stealing\u2026and maketh merchandise of him or selleth him.\u201d<\/span> But there is no contradiction. Exodus is about a MAN selling HIS OWN DAUGHTER whereas Deuteronomy is about A THIEF who STEALS ONE OF HIS BRETHREN and tries to sell him.<\/span>
\nGiven that young girls\/women are lured\/stolen and forced into prostitution and sold\/traded into sexual slavery, the implementation of this law is sorely needed. And not only to execute the stealers but all who are involved in the women\u2019s abduction and selling\/trading.<\/span>
\nIn Islam, this stealing and selling of a person would fall under the category of mischief in the land<\/em> which carries a penalty ranging from imprisonment to execution to crucifixion\u2013Qur\u2019an 5:33).<\/span><\/p>\n

To restart Christianity\u2019s teaching on women. Christianity gives you (woman) nothing but lifelong subjugation under the iron-fist of your husband, brands you as \u201ctransgressor,\u201d \u201cdeceiver\u201d and betrayer of man; makes you an object of sexual release, curses you as \u201cdefiler\u201d of man all the way to the next world, and sets you up in marriage (misery) till \u201cdeath\u201d do you part (if your father does not first sell you into bondage). Here are the Biblical\/Christian\u2019s gem on women:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if a man SELL HIS DAUGHTER to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do\u201d\u2013(Exodus 21:7.<\/span><\/p>\n

-\u201cUnto the woman He (God) said\u2026.thy desire shall be to THY HUSBAND, and HE SHALL RULE OVER THEE\u201d\u2013(Genesis 3:16). <\/span><\/p>\n

-(Honor killing):<\/span><\/em> \u201cBut if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity <\/i>be not found for the damsel: Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father\u2019s house,<\/span> and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father\u2019s house:<\/span> so shalt thou put evil away from among you\u201d\u2013(Deut. 22:20-21). <\/span><\/p>\n

-\u201cLet the woman learn in SILENCE with ALL <\/span>SUBJECTION. But I SUFFER NOT A WOMAN TO TEACH, NOR TO USURP AUTHORITY OVER THE MAN but to be IN SILENCE\u2013(1Tim. 2:11-12); \u201cWIVES, SUBMIT YOURSELVES UNTO YOUR OWN HUSBANDS, AS UNTO THE LORD\u201d \u201cAs the Church is subject unto Christ, SO LET THE WIVES BE TO THEIR OWN HUSBANDS IN EVERY THING\u201d \u2013 \u201cAnd the wife see that SHE REVERENCE HER HUSBAND\u201d\u2013(Ephesians 5:22-23, 33.
\nThe man being told to love his wife does not mean she is free from bondage. People also \u201clove\u201d their dogs and other pets and even bequeath fortunes to them. And Paul also instructs masters to be kind to their slaves\u2013Ephesians 6:9; Col. 4:1). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-\u201cAnd Adam was not deceived BUT THE WOMAN BEING DECEIVED WAS IN THE TRANSGRESSION\u201d \u2013(1 Tim. 2:14. Allah tells us that both Adam and Eve were deceived; and that they were forgiven\u2013Qur\u2019an 2:36-37; 7:20-22). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-\u201che (man) is the IMAGE AND GLORY OF GOD: but the WOMAN IS THE GLORY OF THE MAN. For the man is NOT of the woman; but the WOMAN OF THE MAN\u201d\u2013(1 Cor. 11:7-8), and \u201cNeither was the man created for the woman; BUT THE WOMAN FOR THE MAN\u2013(1 Cor. 11:9), \u201cIt is GOOD for a MAN NOT TO TOUCH A WOMAN. Nevertheless, TO AVOID FORNICATION, let everyman have his own wife\u201d\u2013(1 Cor 7:1-2).
\n\u00a0\u00a0 All\u0101h tells us that He created man and woman of the same substance and that they are mates of the other, has established marriage between them, that he might find peace and comfort in her, and has put between them love and compassion; that men and women are friends and protectors of the other; that husbands and wives are garments to the other and have mutual rights and spiritual equality, and will reside together in Gardens in the next life\u2013(Qur\u2019an 4:1, 3-4, 25; 7:189; 16:72; 25:54; 30:21; 9:71-72; 2:187; 2:228; 3:194, 197; 4:124; 24:30-31; 33:35; 36:56; 43:70; 49:13; 57:12, 18, 19)<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-\u201cLet your women keep silence in the churches: for it is NOT PERMITTED UNTO THEM TO SPEAK; but they are COMMANDED to be under obedience, as also saith the LAW. And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at HOME: FOR IT IS A SHAME FOR WOMEN TO SPEAK IN THE CHURCH\u201d\u2013(1 Cor. 14:34-35. Today this law is violated and women are preachers in the Church).<\/span>
\n<\/span>Clearly, permission to employ whatever methods are necessary to \u201crule\u201d over the wife and to bring\/keep her in \u201csilence and in \u201call subjection\u2019 are inherent and enshrined in these words of God and <\/span>Paul<\/span><\/a>. To take the matter further, authority for employing corporal punishment to discipline the rebellious wife who does not desire to be \u201cruled\u201d over in \u201csilence\u201d and \u201call subjection\u201d may be gleaned from the Biblical verses on child-rearing. God (and as Christians say Jesus is God, then Jesus) says:<\/span> \u201cHe that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes;\u201d \u201cChasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying;\u201d \u201cWithhold not correction from the child: for if you beatest him with the rod, he shall not die, Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell\u201d (and without doubt every \u201cChristian\u201d husband wants to deliver his stubborn\/rebellious wife\u2019s \u201csoul from hell\u201d)<\/span>\u2013(Proverbs 13:24; 19:18; 23:13-14).
\nA Bishop is to be \u201cOne that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with ALL GRAVITY\u201d\u2013(1 Tim. 3:4). Even God beats and scourges His sons into obedience and those who are not are \u201cbastards\u201d: \u201cFor whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be WITHOUT CHASTISEMENT, whereof all are partakers, then are ye BASTARDS, and NOT SONS\u201d \u2013(Hebrews 12:6-8). Thus one can imagine what latitude the Christian husband is allowed to bring\/keep his wayward wife in all subjection and for him to become a \u201cBishop\u201d and even to get into heaven to sit \u201con the right hand of God.\u201d A survey of wives of all Christian sects can be conducted to find out how many were \u201cbeaten\u201d into \u201csilence\u201d and \u201call subjection.\u201d Surely, not all the \u201cbattered\u201d wives in Western countries are non-Christians.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-Perhaps the ultimate Christian indignity towards women is during her menstrual period. He is forbidden to eat, drink, and sleep in the same bed with her; in fact, he is not allowed to touch anything she touches. The Biblical God (and as Christians say Jesus is God, Jesus) says:<\/span> \u201cWhen a woman has a discharge, if her discharge in her body is blood, she shall continue in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening.<\/i> Everything also on which she lies<\/i> during her menstruation impurity shall be unclean, and everything on which she sits<\/i> shall be unclean. And anyone who touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening<\/i>. And whoever touches any thing on which she sits shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening<\/i>. Whether it be on the bed or on the thing on which she is sitting, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until evening. <\/i>And if a man actually lies with her, so that her menstrual impurity is on him, he shall be unclean seven days,<\/i> and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean<\/i>\u201d\u2013(Lev. 15:19-24).
\nContrast this Christian\u2019s treating the menstruating woman like a leper to that of Islam in which All\u0101h says about menstruation that<\/span> \u201cthey are a hurt and a pollution. So keep away from women in their courses, and do not approach them until they are clean\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an. 2:222).\u00a0 This injunction to not approach the menstruating woman does not mean that she is unclean; only that the flow is unclean and to not have sex with them. This is made clear by the Prophet Mohammad who is reported to have said in explanation to the above quoted verse of the Qur\u2019an:<\/span> \u201cAssociate with them (wives) in the houses and do everything<\/i> except sexual intercourse<\/i>\u201d\u2013(Abu Dawud Vol. 1, #258).
\nAnd,\u00a0\u00a0\u201c\u2018Aisha said: I would eat flesh from a bone when I was menstruating, then hand it over to the Prophet (may peace be upon him) and he would put his mouth where I had put my mouth; I would drink, then hand it over to him, and he would put his mouth (at the place) where I drank\u201d\u2013(Ibid.<\/i> #259).
\nAgain, \u201c\u2018Aishah said: The Apostle of All\u0101h (may peace be upon him) would recline on my lap when I was menstruating, then recite the Qur\u2019an\u201d\u2013(Ibid.<\/i> #260). And the classic: \u201c\u2018Aishah said: The Apostle of All\u0101h (may peace be upon him) said to me: Get me the mat from the mosque. I said: I am menstruating. The Apostle of All\u0101h (may peace be upon him) then replied: Your menstruation is not in your hands<\/i><\/strong>\u201d\u2013(Ibid.<\/i> #261. Also #\u2019s 267-273).
\nAnd whereas the Christian who has sex with his menstruating wife is \u201cunclean seven days,<\/i> and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean<\/i>,\u201d the Muslim who has sex with his menstruating wife (while it is unlawful to do so) needs only give charity\u2013(Abu Dawud Vol. 1, #\u2019s 264-266).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-The Christian woman\u2019s marriage misery:<\/span> \u201cI say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the cause of un-chastity, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery;\u201d \u201cEveryone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery\u201d\u2013(Matt. 5:32; Luke 16:18).
\nUnlike All\u0101h\/Islam which allows amicable divorce when the parties can no longer live together the Christian woman is doomed to a life of marriage misery and to wilt her (youthful and beautiful) self in a loveless and even brutal marriage or risk being labeled \u201cadulteress\u201d (who are required to be stoned to death in Judeo-Christian law) from earth all the way to next world. And so does the man who should marry her.\u00a0 And whereas All\u0101h allows a divorced couple [who were married and divorced from their second or more partners] to remarry each other the Bible does not and considers the woman as being \u201cdefiled\u201d [but the man is not \u201cdefiled;\u201d talk about rabid misogyny].
\nAnd while the Muslim woman can initiate divorce, there is no mention of the Christian woman being able to do so. Here is what the Bible says about the divorced couple remarrying (and as Christians say Jesus is God, Jesus forbids the former couple remarrying): <\/span>\u201cWhen a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favor in his eyes, because he had FOUND SOME UNCLEANNESS in her: then let him WRITE HER A BILL OF DIVORCEMENT, and give it in her hand, and SEND HER OUT OF HIS HOUSE\u2026.And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man\u2019s wife. And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand\u2026.Her former husband which sendeth her away, may NOT take her again to be his wife, after that she is DEFILED; for that is ABOMINATION BEFORE THE LORD\u201d\u2013(Deut.24:1-4. Talk about \u201ceasy\u201d divorce. This takes the crown). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding the saying that woman is \u201cdefiler\u201d of man, the Book of Revelation (7:4-8; 14:1-4; and Matt. 19:28) states that 144,000 who will be JEWS (non-Jews, note well), and will all be MEN\u2013consisting of 12,000 from\u00a0\u00a0each of the Twelve Tribes of Israel\u2013 will sit with Jesus in the next life judging the Twelve Tribes of Israel. About this 144,000 it is said: \u201cThese are they which were not <\/span>DEFILED WITH WOMEN<\/span>; for they are <\/span>VIRGINS<\/span>. These are they which follow the Lamb (Jesus) whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.\u201d (God created man and woman to \u201cfill the earth\u201d and instilled in them passions for companionship to affect this; but Christians view this Divine scheme as sacrilege. \nRegarding the 144,000 who will be with Jesus, one Christian apologist on the Internet<\/i> suffered tremendous labor pains trying to baptize these literal \u201cVIRGINS\u201d into metaphorical ones. These 144,000 MEN are said to be the ones who remained \u201cfaithful to Jesus\u201d by being celibates\/\u201dvirgins\u201d as Jesus was, as the Gospels say.
\nThat these are literal \u201cvirgins\u201d \u201cnot defiled\u201d by literal<\/i> \u201cwomen\u201d is substantiated by the Bible itself. Jesus says in Matthew 5:32 that whoever marries a woman that is divorced for other than fornication \u201ccommits adultery.\u201d
\nThus, woman here, even though she be married to the man \u201cdefiles\u201d the man into an adulterer. Paul makes the matter clearer, he states that, but for avoiding \u201cfornication,\u201d \u201cIt is GOOD for a man NOT to touch a woman.\u201d Why not? Because, as Paul says, \u201cHe that is <\/span>UNMARRIED<\/span> careth for the things that belong to the <\/span>LORD<\/span>, how he may please the <\/span>LORD<\/span>: But he that is <\/span>MARRIED<\/span> careth for the things that are of the <\/span>WORLD<\/span>, how he may please his <\/span>WIFE<\/span>.\u201d2<\/span><\/sup> <\/span>In other words, when a man takes a wife his caring for God is compromised by his caring for his wife \u2013or she \u201cdefiles\u201d him or causes him to be \u201cdefiled.\u201d<\/span>
\nFurther, Paul declares that as the wife has no power over her own body but the husband has power over her: \u201clikewise also the husband hath <\/span>NOT POWER<\/span> of his own body, but the <\/span>WIFE<\/span> (has power of him).\u201d3<\/span><\/sup>
\n<\/span>These Biblical teachings show that sexual contact with a woman \u201cdefiles\u201d the man spiritually; and no amount of the Christian apologist\u2019s literary gymnastics can flip this fact over. These 144,000 \u201cvirgins\u201d are physical \u201cvirgins\u201d who were \u201dnot defiled\u201d by physical \u201cwomen,\u201d and as they were not married, and therefore had no \u201cwifely\u201d constraints, they devoted their entire life to the pursuit of the spiritual and were the true followers of Jesus who, as the Gospels show, lived a life of celibacy.
\nThe Good News<\/i> Bible understands this and states: \u201cThe 144,000 people stood before the throne\u2026. They are the men who have kept themselves pure by <\/span>NOT<\/span> having <\/span>SEXUAL RELATIONS<\/span> with <\/span>WOMEN<\/span>; they are <\/span>VIRGINS<\/span>.\u201d The Gideons<\/i> Bible concur: \u201cThese are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they are <\/span>CELIBATES<\/span>.\u201d (See <\/span>Christianity-144,000 virgins & Jesus<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As noted the Bible says that the 144,000 who will be with Jesus are those “<\/span>which<\/span> were not <\/span>DEFILED WITH WOMEN<\/span>.” <\/span>Though, seemingly, Christian priests are not “defiled” by having sex with men. According to material on the Internet:\u00a0<\/em>

The Bible says: <\/span>\u201cBehold, \u00a0everyone that useth proverbs shall use this proverb\u00a0\u00a0against thee (Jerusalem), saying, As is the mother, SO IS\u00a0HER DAUGHTER<\/span>\u201d<\/span> \u2013(Ezekiel 16:44).\u00a0As Christians view\u00a0\u00a0woman as the \u201ctransgressor\u201d (by virtue of her\/Eve\u00a0\u00a0violating the command of God and eating of the\u00a0\u00a0forbidden fruit), and as she betrayed the man\/Adam by\u00a0\u00a0giving him the fruit to eat, then according to this\u00a0\u00a0teaching of the Bible, every woman is a betrayer of man.
\nIn fact, according to Christianity every woman to be\u00a0\u00a0born and all the way to the Resurrection, is a betrayer of\u00a0\u00a0man. (Islam\u00a0<\/span>abrogated<\/span><\/a>\u00a0these teachings on women).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

–<\/span>The Christian\u2019s God (and as Christian\u2019s say Jesus is God, Jesus) even took a peek at the Jewish daughters \u201cprivate parts\u201d because of their flaunting: \u201cMoreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched\u00a0\u00a0forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as\u00a0\u00a0they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their SECRET PARTS\u201d\u2013Isaiah 3:16-17). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nAnd Christ, as he declared, came <\/span>NOT TO CHANGE THE LAW but TO FULFIL IT and even to the point of heaven and earth passing away: \u201cThink not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am <\/span>NOT<\/span> come to destroy, but to <\/span>FULFILL<\/span>. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in <\/span>NO<\/span> wise pass from the law, till <\/span>ALL BE FULFILLED<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u2013(Matthew 5:17-18); <\/span>and he admonished his followers to obey the scribes and Pharisees: \u201cThe scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses\u2019 seat: ALL therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, <\/span>THAT OBSERVE AND DO<\/span>\u201d\u2013(Matt. 23:2-3).<\/span> And the scribes and Pharisees follow the Old Testament. (The Christian woman does not even have \u201cwitnessing\u201d capacity; and Christian man has only a \u201chalf\u201d witnessing capacity. Shown later).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Whereas daughters of Islam has right to inheritance whether her father has sons or not. Christian women have NO right to inheritance if a man has son(s):<\/span><\/p>\n
