CHRISTIANS OF NAJRAN<\/span>
\n& PROPHET MOHAMMAD<\/span><\/p>\n

In the tenth year of the Hijrah, the Prophet Mohammad had a discussion with the Christians of Najran. This dialogue is noted by Khwaja Nazir Ahmad in his book Jesus in Heaven on Earth<\/i>, (pp. 174-176, this book may be obtained from www.muslim.org<\/span><\/a>). -(For clarity, the footnotes to this narrative are omitted):-<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cThe last objection of the Christians is that the Holy Qur’an cites the case of Adam as a parallel to that of Jesus; therefore Jesus, like Adam, was without a father. They urge that Jesus was created, like Adam, by a Divine Command: kun fa yakoon<\/i>.<\/strong><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 In this connection Christian critics of Islam refer to the following Qur\u2019anic verse:<\/span><\/p>\n

Surely the likeness of Jesus is with Allah as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, Be, and he was. (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of the disputers-(Qur’an 3:58-59).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 All commentators of the Holy Qur’an, ancient and modern, agree that these verses, along with some others, were revealed when the Holy Prophet was having a discussion with the Christians of Najran in the tenth year of the Hijra. This deputation consisted of sixty men and was headed by Abdul Masih, the chief of the Christians of Najran.
\n<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 The discussion took place in the Mosque of the Holy Prophet where the visitors had been lodged and permitted to hold their own prayers. In Sirat-ul-Halabi<\/i> the visit of this deputation is described in full detail. The point at issue was the divinity of Jesus.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cAbdul Masih, the leader of the Christians, opened the discussion and enquired from the Holy Prophet: (*<\/span>The plural pronoun \u201cThey\u201d was used throughout to indicate that Abdul Masih was speaking on behalf of himself and his companions).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They*<\/span> said:\u00a0\u00a0 What do you think of our Lord (Sahib)<\/i>?\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God enquired: \u00a0“Who is your Lord?”<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They replied:\u00a0\u00a0 Isa. Do you take him to be a servant of God?<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They then asked:\u00a0\u00a0 “Have you seen anyone like him, or have you been informed of a man like him? He is God because he had no father, he raised the dead, he gave information of the unseen, he cured lepers and made birds from clay. Consider this superi-ority. Do you still call him a servant of God?”\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 The Holy Prophet did not answer at once for at that very moment came the Divine revelation and one of the verses revealed was:<\/span><\/p>\n

Surely the likeness of Jesus is with Allah as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said, Be, and he was. (Qur\u2019an 3:59)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 It may be noticed that the verse does not say that the creation of Jesus was like that of Adam. I now quote the discussion from Tafsir Ibn Jarir at-Tabari<\/i> where it is recorded in full detail under this very verse:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They questioned:\u00a0\u00a0 “Who was his father?”<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Messenger of God replied: “Don’t you know that no child is born but has a likeness to its father in form and appearance?”<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes, we know.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 The Messenger of God said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Don’t you know that our God is alive and will never die and Jesus had to die?”<\/span>
\nThe<\/span>y said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes, we know.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Don’t you know that our God is One to Whom everything submits. He is the Custodian and Guardian of all and He gives sustenance to everyone?”<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They replied:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes, we know.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 The Messenger of God questioned:\u00a0\u00a0 “Was Jesus possessed of any of these powers?”<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They replied:\u00a0\u00a0 “No.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God then asked:\u00a0\u00a0 “Did Jesus know of any of these things except those of which God gave him knowledge?”<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They answered:\u00a0\u00a0 “No.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Don’t you know that our God neither eats, nor drinks, nor does He answer the calls of nature?”<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes, we know.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Then said the Messenger of God:<\/span> “Don’t you know that Jesus was conceived by a<\/span> woman just as any other woman conceives a child, <\/span>then she gave birth to him like every other woman gives birth to a child,<\/span><\/i> he was then reared up like other children, then he used to eat and drink and answer the calls of nature like other human beings?”<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes, we know.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 The Messenger of God then enquired: “How can Messiah be the One you take him to be (i.e. God)?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Rabi narrates that the Christians could not reply to this question, but would not agree either and insisted on their false belief. As a last resort the Holy Prophet invited them in the terms of the revelation:<\/span><\/p>\n

But whoever disputes with you in this matter after what has come to you of knowledge, then say: Come! let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women, and our people and your people, then let us be earnest in prayer and pray for the curse of Allah on the liars. (Qur\u2019an 3:61)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Christians wanted time to consider the challenge and on the next day Abdul Masih and two of his companions informed the Holy Prophet that they had decided not to accept it, and that they would not pray against him nor invite him to pray against them. Thereupon an agreement was entered into whereby they were made free to practise their religion.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

This is a guideline for Muslims in their religions dispute with Christians: to pray for the \u201ccurse of All\u0101h, God, on the liars\u201d.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 (Trinitarian)<\/i> Christians are to pray:
\n<\/span>\u201cI (we) bear witness that Jesus is God and one in a Trinity <\/span>\u2013God confined Himself in the womb of Mary, a woman whom He created, lived in her womb for nine months; nourishing on her liquid through a navel and cord; He emerged from her vagina, nursed from her breast and was circumcised; He ate, drank and answered the calls of nature<\/i>\u2013<\/span> and Jesus is \u00a0also the son of God <\/span>\u2013as fatherhood requires the union of sperm and ovum<\/i>\u2013<\/span> and mankind inherited sin from Adam\/Eve, and God sent Jesus to die for the sins of the world: this is the absolute truth; if this is not the absolute truth I (we) pray for the curse of God on me (us), for eternal punishment, without forgiveness, ever.<\/span><\/p>\n

(Non-Trinitarian) <\/span><\/i>Christians are to pray:
\n<\/span><\/span>\u201cI (we) bear witness that Jesus is the son of God \u2013as fatherhood requires the act of procreating, God implanted His seed in Mary, thus making Jesus the son of God<\/i>\u2013<\/span> and mankind inherited sin from Adam\/Eve, and God sent Jesus to die for the sins of the world: this is the absolute truth; if this is not the absolute truth I (we) pray for the curse of God on me (us) for eternal punishment, without forgiveness, ever. <\/span><\/p>\n

Muslims are to pray:<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/i><\/strong><\/span>\u201cI (we) bear witness that there is no God but All\u0101h; He is the One and Only; The Eternal, Absolute; He has no partner or associate; He begets not nor is He begotten; and there is none like Him; Jesus is no more than a messenger of All\u0101h\u2013this is the absolute truth; if this is not the absolute truth I (we) pray for the curse of All\u0101h, God, on me (us), for eternal punishment, without forgiveness, ever.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGlory be to Him (All\u0101h, God),<\/span><\/i><\/span>
\nand highly exalted is He<\/span><\/i><\/span>
\nabove what they ascribe (to Him)\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/span>
\n\u201cSay: He, Allah, is One.<\/span>
\nAllah is He on Whom all depend.<\/span>
\nHe begets not, nor is He begotten,<\/span>
\nAnd none is like Him\u201d<\/span>
\n(Qur\u2019an 6:101; 112:1-4).<\/span>
\n*<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding this discussion of the Prophet with the Christians of Najran, Muhammad Ali notes:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis chapter starts with a discussion of the Christian doctrines in particular. The persons addressed in particular in this verse are the members of the Christian deputation from Najran that came in 10 A.H. This deputation, consisting of sixty men, was headed by \u2018Abd al-Masih, the chief of the Najran Christians (AH), and the members of the deputation were lodged in the Prophet\u2019s mosque. Thus did the Prophet set an example of freedom of religious thought which remains without parallel to this day. The Prophet related to them arguments showing that Jesus Christ was not God, but a man and a prophet (see concluding paragraph of note 422). After having argued the question fully, and finding them still insisting in their false belief in the deity of Jesus, they were invited as a last resort to pray earnestly that the curse of All\u0101h might overtake the party that insisted on falsehood. At first they showed readiness to enter this contest, but after some deliberation they decided against it and told the Prophet that they had decided not to pray against him as suggested (B. 64:74). Thereupon they were given a pledge by which they were free to practise their religion: \u201cTheir authority and rights shall not be interfered with, nor anything that is customary amongst them, so long as they conduct themselves peaceably and uprightly\u201d (Muir).
\n<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 It is strange to find Christian writers referring to this as \u201ca strange mode of settling the dispute.\u201d But evidently their Arabian co-religionists did not think so 1,300 years ago. They believed in the efficacy of prayer, for such was the teaching of Jesus. They saw the righteousness of the Prophet, and they were convinced of their own false beliefs and dared not invoke curses upon themselves with their own tongues, while they knew that the Prophet was too generous to curse them.<\/span> Therefore they adopted the wise course of not calling for destruction to overtake them. Had they considered the Prophet as an impostor and Antichrist, as their descendants do today, they would not have had the least fear in accepting the challenge.\u201d (Color added). <\/span>(Muhammad Ali\u2019s translation of the Qur\u2019an with text, notes, and commentaries can be viewed online: www.muslim.org<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Notably: Regarding the above verse \u201cCome, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves \u2013 then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allah upon those who lie.\u201d
\n<\/span>While this verse invites the Christians to invoke Allah\u2019s curse upon anyone who was lying, it does not invoke this curse upon the Christians\u2019 innocent family.
\nAs noted in the discussion with the Prophet, the Christian leader was speaking on behalf of the entire delegation.\u00a0(Which is even done in modern societies).
\n<\/span>As Islam holds only those of mature intellect to be capable of rendering decision\u2013(Qur\u2019an 4:6; Abu Dawud Vol. 3, #\u2019s 4384-4389), it is obvious that these sons and women would be mature. And as they have joined with their menfolk to whom they assign leadership to speak on their behalf of the faith they have chosen to follow, thus, the decision\/prayer of their leader is binding on them as if they themselves have spoken\/prayed on their behalf.
\nThus, these partaking women and sons do not \u201csuffer for a lie\u201d their leaders uttered, they are\/were fully cognizant of the topic under discussion.
\nIf the leaders include immature family members in their group these immature ones would not be held responsible for the action(s) of their leaders, as per the teaching of Islam as noted.
\nThe Qur’an nowhere accepts that people are suffering because of Adam\u2019s sin and that persons do bear the burdens of others\u00a0(except those who knowingly lead others astray).<\/span>
\n<\/span>Neither does the Bible\u00a0\u2013God or Jesus\u2013<\/span>\u00a0teach these heinous doctrines of original\/inherited sin and vicarious atonement.<\/p>\n

That Jesus is not God see Jesus as God<\/span><\/a>;<\/span> Jesus & God<\/span> are one<\/span><\/a>; Jesus-Alpha<\/span> & Omega<\/span><\/a>
\nAs proven, whereas\u00a0Islam is superior to all<\/span> other religions<\/span><\/a>,<\/span>\u00a0Judaism, Sikhism and Hinduism are superior to Christianity and Jesus was a Muslim and taught Islam.
\nChristians also claim the Qur\u2019an\/All\u0101h God says for Muslims to ask\/seek guidance from the Gospel\/Christians, see All\u0101h says follow<\/span> Gospels\u2013a dilemma for Muslims<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0*<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

The Christian\u2019s God and son of God, Jesus, says: \u201cHe that believeth and is baptized shall be saved\u2026and IF <\/span>THEY DRINK ANY DEADLY THING, IT SHALL NOT HURT THEM<\/span>\u2026\u201d\u2013(Mark 16:16-18).<\/span> Would Christians like to drink a \u201cdeadly\u201d thing?
\n<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 Christians claim that the Bible is \u201call\u201d \u201cWord of God\u201d and that Jesus is the Son of God. If Christians believe in their \u201cWord of God\u201d and Son of God they will have no reluctance or hesitancy to drink this \u201cdeadly thing.\u201d Surely to demonstrate their \u201cWord of God\u201d and trust in their \u201cSon of God\u201d and God is the highest of \u201cmoral standards.\u201d Don\u2019t Christians trust their God and son of God?\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 It is scandalous that Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses and other Christians are not clamoring to honor this \u201ctruth\u201d of Jesus. After all, if this \u201cdeadly thing\u201d does not hurt them they can boast that Jesus spoke the truth. And if they die, well, they will get to sit with Jesus sooner \u201con the right hand of God\u201d\u2013(Mark 16:19).<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

*<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 I<\/span> have<\/span> had the odd Christian tell me that Mohammad was a fraud\/impostor. I would invite them to the\u00a0challenge that if you can prove that Mohammad was a\u00a0fraud\/impostor I will become a Christian on the spot no\u00a0questions asked, no ifs ands or buts. But if you cannot prove that Mohammad was a fraud \u2013and for sure you\u00a0cannot prove that Mohammad was a fraud\u2013 <\/span>then you\u00a0will become a Muslim on the spot no questions asked,\u00a0no ifs ands or buts. Put your dignity where your mouth\u00a0is! So far I have had no takers. This invitation is open to\u00a0any and to all Christians and to anyone and everyone else who claim that Mohammad was a\u00a0fraud\/impostor).
\nWhereas Jesus was a prophet of God (and was\u00a0honorable as prophets of God are) as All\u0101h revealed in\u00a0His Qur\u2019an, according to the Bible Jesus was a hypocrite\u00a0a liar and a fraud.<\/span> (See <\/span><\/span>Christianity-lies, evil, hate<\/span><\/span><\/a>).
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0*<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Divine truth is Jesus was a <\/span>MUSLIM<\/span> \u2013one who submits to the \u201cwill\u201d of God\u2013<\/span> and he taught <\/span>ISLAM<\/span> \u2013submission to the \u201cwill\u201d of God:
\n<\/span>Jesus declares he is a MUSLIM<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -\u201cMy meat is to do the will of <\/span>HIM <\/span>(God)<\/span>that sent me and to finish <\/span>HIS<\/span> work;\u201d<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 -\u201cI seek <\/span>NOT MY OWN WILL<\/span>, but the <\/span>WILL OF THE FATHER\u2026<\/span>If I bear witness of myself, my witness is <\/span>NOT TRUE;<\/span>\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 -\u201cI came\u2026not to do mine own will, <\/span>BUT THE WILL OF HIM THAT SENT ME;<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 -\u201cMy doctrine is not mine, <\/span>BUT HIS THAT SENT ME;<\/span>\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0 -\u201c<\/span>HE<\/span> (God) gave me a commandment, <\/span>WHAT I SHOULD SAY, <\/i>AND WHAT I SHOULD SPEAK\u201d <\/span>\u2013<\/span><\/strong>(John 4:34; 5:30-31; 6:38; 7:16; 12:49.<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 -\u201cI have glorified thee on the earth: <\/span>I HAVE FINISHED THE WORK WHICH THOU GAVEST ME TO DO<\/span>\u2019\u2013(John 17:4<\/span>. If Jesus had come to die for the sins of the world, he could not have said that his work was finished).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>-\u201cI have manifested thy name unto the men (the Jews) which <\/span>THOU GAVEST ME<\/span> out of the world\u201d\u2013(John 17:6. <\/span>If Jesus was sent to the world he could not have been given <\/span>some<\/span><\/span><\/i> men \u201cout of the world\u201d: he would have been given <\/span>all<\/span><\/span> <\/i>men of the world).<\/span><\/span> <\/span>If Jesus was God or Son of God, the Christian\u2019s God and Son of God is\/was a MUSLIM.
\n<\/span>Jesus taught ISL:AM<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -\u201cThe scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses\u2019 seat: <\/span>ALL <\/span>therefore <\/span>WHATSOEVER<\/span> they bid you observe, that <\/span>OBSERVE AND DO<\/span>;\u201d<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0 -\u201cif thou wilt enter into life, <\/span>KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS<\/span>\u00a0 (brought by Moses);\u00a0<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -\u201cexcept your <\/span>RIGHTEOUSNESS<\/span> shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, <\/span>YE SHALL IN NO CASE ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN<\/span>\u201d \u2013(Matthew 23:2-3; 19:17-18; 5:20). And the Mosaic law does not teach inherited sin and vicarious atonement). Since following the Mosaic law is what is required to get into heaven <\/span>THERE IS NO NEED FOR JESUS! <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Jesus is-redundant no ransom<\/span><\/span><\/a>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –<\/span><\/span>\u201cAnd I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;\u201d \u201cWhen he, the Spirit of truth (the Comforter), is come, he will guide you into <\/span>ALL TRUTH<\/span>\u201d \u2013(John 14:15-16; 16:13). <\/span>And this\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Comforter<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0as Prof. Abdul Ahad Dawud<\/span> \u2013the former Reverend David Benjamin Keldani\u2013 has shown in his revealing book Muhammad in the Bible<\/i> is the Prophet <\/span><\/span>Mohammad<\/span><\/span><\/a>. <\/span>Mohammad abides \u201cfor ever\u201d through the Qur\u2019an.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Since the <\/span>Comforter<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0will replace the Mosaic Law because he will guide into \u201cALL TRUTH\u201d and will abide \u201cFOREVER,\u201d then, being devoid of \u201call truth\u201d and perpetuity, the <\/span>Bible is obsolete<\/span><\/span><\/a>.
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Since the <\/span>Comforter<\/span><\/span><\/a> will replace the Mosaic law because he will guide into \u201cALL TRUTH\u201d and will abide \u201cFOREVER,\u201d THERE IS NO NEED FOR JESUS!<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span>Jesus is-redundant<\/span><\/span><\/a>!<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 There is no wisdom in following a man who has not given \u201call truth.\u201d <\/span><\/span>Mohammad<\/span><\/span><\/a>, the<\/span> <\/span>Comforter<\/span><\/span><\/a>, has given us \u201call truth\u201d<\/span> \u2013all that we need for our moral, social, intellectual, and spiritual upliftment are in the <\/span>Qur\u2019an <\/span><\/span><\/a>which is to abide \u201cFOREVER\u201d to the Resurrection; the Qur\u2019an consists of, exceeds, and supersedes all Scriptures. Christians can reject Mohammad, Christians cannot refute Mohammad\u2019s claim to Divine Messengership.
\n<\/span>Even if Mohammad was not the Comforter, Jesus and the Mosaic Law would still be REDUNDANT and the Bible\u00a0<\/span>obsolete<\/span><\/span><\/a> at the coming of the Comforter with \u201call Truth\u201d who will \u201cabide FOREVER.\u201d
\nAnd if we follow the Comforter and attain eternal life in Paradise THERE IS NO NEED FOR A\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>second coming<\/span><\/span><\/a> OF JESUS.<\/span> (Even in his alleged 1,000 years reign of his alleged second coming Jesus and the Mosaic law would be REDUNDANT and the Bible\u00a0<\/span>obsolete<\/span><\/span><\/a> as the \u201cANOTHER angel\u201d with the \u201cEVERLASTING Gospel\u201d would rule\u2013Revelation 14:6).
\nAnd since the Christian\u2019s God and son of God, Jesus, says that heaven lies in faith (observance of the law) and good works (righteousness) THERE IS NO NEED FOR\u00a0<\/span><\/span>inherited sin<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0AND VICARIOUS ATONEMENT!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus says you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free (from lies, falsehood, and blasphemy). And the Divine truth is, Jesus was a prophet of God sent <\/span>only for Jews<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0and to foretell the coming of the <\/span>Comforter<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0(<\/span>Mohammad<\/span><\/span><\/a>) who will guide into \u201call truth\u201d and will \u201cabide forever\u201d and whom all are to follow; and <\/span>
