\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0TERRORISM & ISLAM
\n<\/span>Terrorism:<\/span> <\/i>Islam which restricts fighting to only against\u00a0those who fight you and to not be aggressive\u2013(Qur\u2019an 2:190); to fight only until there is no persecution and that\u00a0all religions are for Allah\u2013(8:39; All\u0101h revealed that He\u00a0raised prophets among all peoples and gave them rites\u00a0and ceremonies\u2013(10:47; 22:34, 67; thus irrespective of \u00a0the fact that some people\u2019s concept of God is\u00a0contradictory to the teachings of their prophets, so long\u00a0as they hold that there is a Divine Power that is the cause\u00a0of their presence, then their religion is also for All\u0101h; as\u00a0shown later the Prophet Mohammad\u2019s duty, and thus Muslim\u2019s duty, is only to deliver the Message of Islam, not to enforce it);<\/span> and to fight on behalf of non-Muslims\u00a0who are oppressed\u2013(22:40) cannot be the religion that encourages \u201cterrorism\u201d or a religion of “evil.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fighting the occupier, usurper,\u00a0aggressor, transgressor, oppressor, and\u00a0 exploiter is not\u00a0\u201cterrorism;\u201d it is heroism! (Isn\u2019t this what America and\u00a0Europe and Allies claimed they were doing against\u00a0Germany, Japan, Saddam Hussein, and the Talibans \u2013fighting aggression\/evil?)\u00a0<\/span>(<\/span><\/span>Geert Wilder<\/span>s, the Dutch politician, needs\u00a0to read\u00a0<\/span>the Bible to know about Scriptural terrorism)<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Islam which teaches:<\/span>
\n-dealing justly (Qur\u2019an 2:279, 5:8);
\n-not to rob men their dues (26:183);
\n-to give justice even if it be against one\u2019s self, parents, -kins, or whether he be poor or rich (4:135; 4:58; 5:8),
\n-feeding the needy and the poor, free the captives, help those in debt, care for the orphans, the wayfarer, and to free slaves (9:60, 2:177),
\n-not to act corruptly in the earth or make mischief (26:183);
\n-not to transgress, or aid in sin and aggression (2:190; 5:2),
\n-to restrain anger and forgive (3:133),
\n-to fight on behalf of the oppressed (4:75);
\nbecause All\u0101h loves the\u00a0 just, and because He commands justice and the doing of good, and forbids injustice (60:8, 16:90)
\ncould not<\/em> be \u00a0\u201cterrorism\u201d or \u201cevil.\u201d \u00a0(And Mohammad who practised this religion could not be a “terrorist” or “devil”).<\/span><\/p>\n

Islam which:<\/span>
\n-liberated woman\u2013(Qur\u2019an 2:187; 4:19-22);
\n-exalts her\u2013(4:1; 9:71-72);
\n-gives her equality with man in financial, property, moral and spiritual matters\u2013(4:32, 7-10, 176-177; 3:195; 33:35; 4:124; 16:97; 43:70);
\n-honors her\u2013(4:1);
\n-made her a garment to man and he is her garment\u2013(2:187);
\n-given her rights similar to those against her\u2013(2:228);
\n-made her a protector of man as he is her protector\u2013(9:71);
\n-established her as a source of peace,\u00a0 comfort,\u00a0 love and compassion\u2013(7:189; 30: 21)
\ncould not<\/em> be \u00a0\u201cterrorism\u201d or \u201cevil.\u201d \u00a0(And Mohammad who practised this religion could not be a “terrorist” or “devil”).<\/span><\/p>\n

Islam which teaches:
\n<\/span>-that all men are created equal (Qur\u2019an 95:4),
\n-we are made into different tribes and nations that we may know one another (49:13),
\n-we are to be judged not by our race, color or nationality but by our deeds (6:133),
\n-the noblest ones are those who are righteous (49:13, 98:7),
\n-to\u00a0 return evil with that which is better\u2013(23:96),
\nbecause All\u0101h God loves the just, and because All\u0101h is aware of what you do (5:45, 4:135)
\ncould not<\/em> be \u00a0\u201cterrorism\u201d or \u201cevil.\u201d \u00a0(And Mohammad who practised this religion could not be a “terrorist” or “devil”).<\/span><\/p>\n

Islam which teaches:
\n<\/span>-not to take a greater recompense than the injury suffered (Qur\u2019an 2:194; 16:126; 42: 40);
\n-instead of retaliation reconcile, be patient and forgive (42:39-43; 24: 22; 3:133);
\n-to be merciful and forgiving (3:133);
\n-to fight only as long as there is persecution (2:193),
\n-to make peace when the enemy desires (4:90; 8:61);
\nfor All\u0101h loves the doer of good, and the dutiful (2:195, 3:75)
\ncould not<\/em> be \u00a0\u201cterrorism\u201d or \u201cevil.\u201d \u00a0(And Mohammad who practised this religion could not be a “terrorist” or “devil”).<\/span><\/p>\n

Islam and terrorism are contradictions!
\nBefore <\/span>Palestine<\/a><\/span>\u00a0was stolen from Muslims and given to Jews\u00a0there was no \u201cIslamic terrorism;\u201d before the West began\u00a0 running around like a \u201cwild ass of a man\u201d1<\/span><\/sup> to control\u00a0Muslim lands and oil\/resources there was no \u201cIslamic\u00a0terrorism.\u201d
\nBritain, France, America, Russia and Jews\u00a0are like buzzards at Muslim\u2019s lands and oil \u2013Russia,\u00a0Britain and France carved up post-Ottoman Mid-east to\u00a0suit their treacherous designs (Kuwait was sliced out of Iraq and Lebanon was chunked out of Syria and put\u00a0under Maronite Christian domination); since the\u00a0nineteenth century Jews were scheming to kick\u00a0Palestinians out of Palestine (British instigation and\u00a0American machination \u2013American diplomatic thuggery\u00a0at the U.N.\u2013 stole\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Palestine<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and gave it to the Jews);<\/span>
\n\u201cIsrael,\u201d Britain and France attacked Egypt in 1956 so\u00a0Britain could have control of Egypt\u2019s Suez Canal;\u00a0American-British manouvre overthrew Iran\u2019s\u00a0Mossadegh government in 1953 so Britain could have\u00a0control over Iran\u2019s oil;
\nRussia is coloring Chechnya\u00a0\u201cred\u201d to scrounge off Chechnya\u2019s riches; America\u00a0invaded Iraq to set up military base(s) and control Iraq\u2019s oil; America is now in Afghanistan \u2013ostensibly to rout\u00a0Taliban and set up \u201cdemocracy,\u201d though when the\u00a0colonialist and the imperialist speak of democracy, what they mean is having someone else\u2019s country run\u00a0<\/span>according to their <\/i>dictates<\/span>\u2013 <\/span>for its gas pipe-line interest\u00a0and a share in Afghanistan\u2019s some three trillion\u00a0American-dollars worth of yet-to-be tapped riches;
\nAmerica, Britain and France are now circling over\u00a0Gadhafi\u2019s carcass in Libya.
\nWith all their greatness and\u00a0power and progress they are yet like parasites \u2013blood-\u00a0 sucking ticks leeching off the backsides of the\u00a0defenseless.
\n<\/span>What a monumental disgrace! Shameful!\u00a0One would expect that in this new dawn of the twenty-first century they would have cultivated dignity and\u00a0maturity. Nevertheless, they too\u00a0will crumble into the\u00a0dust, never to rise again; just like the Pharaohs and the\u00a0Chosroes and\u00a0the Caesars.
\nAmerica and Britain and France and Russia \u2013for all their pride and glory\u2013 <\/span>will bear this indelible stain of shame and disgrace on their histories. History will immortalize them as, and rightly\u00a0so, the\u00a0wingless vultures.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

(While there is no \u201cterrorism\u00a0in Islam, and this is not to support terrorism).<\/span>
\nUnless and until every grain of sand of\u00a0<\/span>Palestine<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is returned to\u00a0Muslims (Jews have a right to be there, not the state);
\n<\/span>Unless and until the West stop trying to run Muslim countries and control their oil\/resources Muslims have\u00a0every right and all rights and the Highest Authority \u2013the\u00a0Divine Authority\u2013 <\/span>to undertake the noble\u00a0<\/span>Jihad<\/a><\/span>, <\/span>all the\u00a0way to the Resurrection if need be, to liberate\u00a0themselves and lands.
\nSo long as Jannah\/<\/i><\/span>Paradise<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>sits\u00a0in the lap of justice Muslims will spare no dew-drop to\u00a0extinguish this hell of injustice! And Muslims will\u00a0prevail \u2013<\/span>Muslims are destined<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/u><\/span>to be successful,\u00a0victorious and triumphant! (No one would accept\u00a0<\/span>Muslims stealing their lands and giving it to another, and\u00a0<\/span>no one would accept Muslims trying to run their\u00a0<\/span>countries and controlling their resources. Why then <\/span>should Muslims accept this?) <\/span><\/span><\/span>Palestine<\/a><\/span>\u00a0is the moral,\u00a0social, historical and spiritual heritage of Palestinians and all Muslims!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Palestine<\/span>~ <\/span>Timeless<\/span>~ Celestially Ours!
\n<\/span><\/span>Vive le Palestine libre!
\n<\/span><\/i><\/span>Ashat Philistine Hurra!
\n<\/span><\/i><\/span>Azaad Philistine Zindabad!
\n<\/span><\/i><\/span>Long live free Palestine!<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd fight in the way of All\u0101h<\/span><\/i> against <\/span>THOSE WHO FIGHT AGAINST YOU<\/span> but be not aggressive, Surely All\u0101h loves not the aggressors;\u201d \u201cPermission (to fight) is given to those <\/span>ON WHOM WAR IS MADE<\/span>, because they are oppressed, And surely All\u0101h is able to assist them\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 2:190; 22:39)<\/span>
\nAnd there are parameters, as determined by Islam, to this fighting \u2013trees are not to be cut down and people in shrines and civilians are not to be violated.<\/span> Notably, fighting in the way of All\u0101h<\/span><\/i> means to fight in the way of truth and justice).\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

That Muslims are using verses of the Qur\u2019an to \u201cbehave violently and anti-democratically.\u201d This does not mean that such Muslims are correct in their interpretation; or that Islam is to be blamed.
\n(According to the Gospels Jesus was not married and was always hanging around with a dozen men, would you then blame Jesus for Christian priests being “gay” and\/or for sodomising young boys? See Internet<\/em>).
\n<\/span>
\nWouldn\u2019t Geert Wilders (a Dutch politician) say that modern nations \u201cbehave violently and anti-democratically\u201d by destroying other peoples countries and lives
\n\u2013Vietnam, Korea, Palestine, Iraq, Iran (the overthrow of Mossadegh), Afghanistan, Kashmir, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Chechnya, Dagestan; East Turkistan, Tibet, Egypt (to control the Suez Canal); Algeria (by France); overthrowing governments and\/or instigating armed conflicts in Chile, El Salvador, Nicaragua; the botched attempt on Cuba; and, perhaps the most despicable, degrading and disgusting act of all: Colonialism chaining naked African women at the necks<\/span>2<\/span> <\/sup><\/span> and plundering the vast riches of the Congo\u2013<\/span>
\n<\/span>in their fight for world domination and exploitation? <\/span><\/p>\n

All\u0101h says: \u201cAnd fight with them until there is no more persecution, and all religions are for All\u0101h<\/span>. But if they desist, then surely All\u0101h is Seer of what you do.\u201d<\/span>
\nAs stated before, and as this verse clearly shows, fighting was only allowed to stem the tide of persecution. Once the enemy desists all, fighting was to end. That all religions are for All\u0101h<\/i> does not mean that Islam wants to rule the world.
\n(Muslims do not have to conquer lands for All\u0101h, the heavens and the earth already belong to All\u0101h. See item # 9)<\/span>.<\/span> <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding the words all religions are for All\u0101h<\/span>;<\/i> as already explained above: All\u0101h revealed that He\u00a0raised prophets among all peoples and gave them rites and ceremonies\u2013(10:47; 22:34, 67) thus, irrespective of the fact that some people\u2019s concept of God is contradictory to the teachings of their prophets, so long as they hold that there is a Divine Power that is the cause of their presence, then their religion is also for All\u0101h. <\/span><\/p>\n

Take not the disbelievers for friends:<\/span><\/i> At least the Islamic\u00a0 God is lenient, forbidding friendship with those who\u00a0violate you.
\nThe Judaic God would have his \u201cchosen\u201d\u00a0people enslave the non-\u201cchosen\u201d people for just being disbelievers.
\nChristianity\u2019s God and son of God is even worse than the Judaic God, he would have enemies\u00a0brought to him and slain\u2013(Luke 19:27).
\nWhy is America\u00a0not friends with Iran and North Korea and Venezuela\u00a0and Cuba\/Castro and Libya\/Gadhafi and the Talibans\u00a0(and Talibans did nothing against America for them to\u00a0be hounded and slaughtered)<\/span> and even with Russia\u00a0having fought some fifty years of cold war \u2013though in\u00a0their arrogance for world lordship not a single shot was\u00a0fired across their borders they devastated other peoples\u2019 countries and lives: Vietnam and Korea, and, some may argue, even Afghanistan.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As stated when verse 90 is read\u00a0with 89, as Geert Wilders is said to have quoted, the\u00a0understanding of verse 89 is clearly understood; here are the two verses: \u201cThey long that you should disbelieve as\u00a0they have disbelieved so that you might be on the same\u00a0level; so take not from among them friends until they\u00a0flee (their homes) in All\u0101h\u2019s way. Then if they turn back\u00a0(to hostility), seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take no friend nor helper from among them;\u201d\u00a0\u201cExcept those who join a people between whom and you\u00a0there is an alliance, or who come to you, their hearts\u00a0shrinking from fighting you or fighting their own people.\u00a0 And if All\u0101h had pleased, He would have given them\u00a0power over you, so that they would have fought you. So\u00a0if they withdraw from you and fight you not and offer you peace, then All\u0101h allows you no way against them<\/span>\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 4:89-90).<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, Islam is such a peaceful and\u00a0tolerant religion, Muslims are to accept the enemy\u2019s\u00a0offer of peace even in the face of possible deception by the enemy:\u00a0 \u201cAnd if they incline to peace, incline thou also to it\u2026.And if they intend to deceive thee, then\u00a0surely All\u0101h is sufficient for thee\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 8:61-62).
\n<\/span>This injunction to not take the disbelievers for friends\u00a0 relates only to during the time of hostilities, and in peace\u00a0time means that Muslims are not to include non-Muslims\u00a0 in their personal and national affairs.
\nDo America and\u00a0<\/span>Britain<\/span> and Russia and France etc; include Muslims in\u00a0<\/span>their personal and national affairs?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Seize the disbelievers who fight you and kill them:<\/span><\/i>\u00a0 (Isn\u2019t this what America and the entire entourage did and\u00a0are doing all the way from World War I through Iraq and\u00a0into Afghanistan?)<\/span> Seizing and killing disbelievers\u00a0refer only to soldiers during the time of battle. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd \u00a0 fight in the way of All\u0101h THOSE\u00a0WHO FIGHT AGAINST\u00a0YOU but BE NOT AGGRESSIVE;\u201d\u00a0 \u201cAllah forbids you NOT\u00a0respecting those who fight you not for religion, nor\u00a0 drive you forth from your homes, that you show them\u00a0<\/span>kindness and deal with them justly<\/span><\/i>. Surely Allah loves\u00a0the doers of justice\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 60:8).
\n<\/span>If Islam had\u00a0require\u00a0that all idolaters and disbelievers be killed, Prophet\u00a0Mohammad would not have granted a general amnesty to them at his triumph at Makkah; if Islam had require\u00a0that all disbelievers be killed, Prophet Mohammad, on\u00a0reports that the Romans were preparing for battle,\u00a0would not have returned from this expedition to Tabuk without wiping out the Romans who were unprepared\u00a0for war. <\/span><\/p>\n

Verse 90 clearly shows that there is no death for\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>apostasy<\/a>\u00a0i<\/a>n Islam (or for forcing Islam onto others).
\n<\/span>There is death for apostasy in Judaism and Christianity:\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cAnd that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, <\/span>shall be\u00a0put to death;<\/span><\/i> because he hath spoken to turn you away\u00a0from the Lord your God, which brought you out of the\u00a0land of Egypt\u2026.If thy brother\u2026entice thee secretly,\u00a0saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers\u2026thou shalt surely <\/span>kill\u00a0him<\/span><\/i>.\u201d<\/span>\u2013(Deut; 13:5-16); \u201cIf there be found among \u00a0 you\u2026man or woman\u2026. And hath gone and served other\u00a0gods, and worshiped them, either the sun or moon, or\u00a0any of the host of heaven, which I have not\u00a0commanded\u2026..Then thou shalt bring forth that man or\u00a0that woman \u2026and shalt <\/span>stone them with stones, till they die<\/span><\/i>\u201d<\/span>\u2013(Deut; 17:2-5).\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 This verse of Qur\u2019an 8:60 reads: \u201cAnd make ready for them whatever force you can and horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of All\u0101h and your enemy and others besides them, whom you know not \u2013All\u0101h knows them.\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span>(Isn\u2019t this what America, Russia, Britain, France, India, China, Korea, and the entire entourage of non-Muslim countries have done or are doing \u2013amassed\/amassing arsenals that one nut at the trigger can take us all into the Resurrection in one blast?)
\n<\/span>However, unlike these nations that use their arsenals for aggression or subjugation or occupation or exploitation the \u201cIslamic\u201d arsenal is solely for defense, not for offense.
\nAs shown above there is no \u201cterrorism\u201d or aggression in Islam!
\nWill Geert Wilders also show us the mangled and mashed and severed bodies of the Iraqi civilians; not leaving out those of Abu Ghraib and the half a million babies who died from American-led sanctions? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding this destruction of 9\/11 it is noted that\u00a0Americans have made, or are making, a We Shall Never\u00a0Forget<\/i> book for children to color.
\nThat Americans have\u00a0the right to do what they wish is without question.
\nPerhaps Iraq\/Muslims should commemorate the March\u00a020, 2003 <\/span>(3\/20)<\/span> invasion and destruction of Iraq for its\u00a0phantom Weapons of Mass Destruction with a coloring\u00a0book for their children. The cover might look something\u00a0like this:<\/span> <\/span>IRAQ<\/span><\/strong> 3\/20<\/span><\/strong> in large block letters done rainbow\u00a0style at the top, and imposed in the middle with the\u00a0words in about\u00a0half-size letters<\/span> <\/span>We Shall Never\u00a0Forget<\/span><\/i>.<\/span>
\nIn the background Baghdad is in flames and the\u00a0foreground is littered with color photographs showing\u00a0the mangled, smashed and severed bodies of the tens of thousands of civilians<\/span> -not counting the hundreds of thousands that are said to have been killed in sectism violence which is a direct result of the aggression-<\/span><\/span> with an inset showing some of the 500,000 babies that died from American-led sanctions.<\/span>
\nTo the left of the cover is a vaporous figure (Saddam Hussein?) labeled<\/span><\/span>\u00a0\u2018Weapons of Mass Destruction\u2019<\/span> looking at the carnage;\u00a0and at the top of the cover and below the caption is an\u00a0incoming \u201cshock and awe\u201d bomb draped in the\u00a0American flag.<\/span>
\nThe materials to be colored<\/span> <\/span>\u2013which\u00a0are to include the infamous Abu Ghraib tortures and Guantanamo Bay (these are civility and democracy?)<\/span><\/span>*<\/span>\u2013<\/span> must not be lies and propaganda; just truth and facts.<\/span>
\nIraq can also establish a\u00a0\u201cMartyr\u2019s Square\u201d in Baghdad\u00a0with the names and ages of the martyrs immortalized in\u00a0stone).<\/span>
\n<\/span>*<\/span>(The inhumanities meted out to prisoners at Abu\u00a0Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay, some of whom may have\u00a0been innocent, reminds me of \u2018Ali, the fourth Caliph of\u00a0Islam, after he was gravely wounded by assassins:
\n\u201cHe\u00a0sent for his assassin (Ibn Muljam) and said to Hasan: \u201cIn\u00a0case I\u00a0die, this man may be executed. But you must see\u00a0to it that he is in no way tortured, that he is well-fed and\u00a0<\/span>comfortably accommodated.\u201d<\/span>
\nNow, that<\/i> is civility and\u00a0democracy; moreover [while there is no terrorism in\u00a0Islam and this is not to condone terrorism], unlike\u00a0modern nations, Caliph \u2018Ali was no aggressor no\u00a0transgressor no occupier and no\u00a0exploiter for him to be\u00a0attacked\/assassinated. The venerable Caliph \u201csuccumbed to his wounds on the 17th of Ramadan.\u201d (Muhammad Ali, Early Caliphate<\/i>, p.201).\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Firstly, the Qur\u2019an does \u201cnot incite killing\u201d of anyone. This verse of Qur\u2019an 9:29 which Father Botros quoted seemingly without knowledge (or care) of its background reads:
\n\u201c<\/span>Fight those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which All\u0101h and His Messenger have forbidden, nor follow the Religion of Truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgement of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span>To which Muhammad explains: \u201cThe last word on the wars with the idolaters of Arabia having been said, this verse introduces the subject of fighting with the followers of the Book. Though the Jews had for a long time assisted the idolatrous Arabians in their struggle to uproot Islam, the great Christian power, the Roman Empire, had only just mobilized its forces for the subjection of the new religion, and the Tabuk expedition followed, which constitutes the subject-matter of a large portion of what follows in this chapter. As the object of this Christian power was simply the subjection of the Muslims,<\/span> the words in which their final vanquishment by the Muslims is spoken of are different from those dealing with the final vanquishment of the idolatrous Arabians. The Qur\u2019an neither required that the idolaters should be compelled to accept Islam, nor was it in any way its object to bring the Christians into subjection.<\/span> On the other hand, the idolaters wanted to suppress Islam by the sword, and the Christians first moved themselves to bring Muslim Arabia under subjection.<\/span> The fate of each was, therefore, according to what it intended for the Muslims. The word jizyah <\/i>is derived from jaza<\/i>, meaning he gave satisfaction<\/i>, and means, according to LL, the tax that is taken from the free non-Muslim subjects of the Muslim Government whereby they ratify the compact that ensures them protection<\/i>; or, according to AH, because it is a compensation for the protection which is guaranteed them, the non-Muslim subjects being free from military service<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The phrase \u2018an yad-in <\/i>has been explained variously. The word yad <\/i>(lit., hand<\/i>) stands for power <\/i>or superiority<\/i>, the use of the hand <\/i>being the real source of the superiority of man over all other animals, and the apparent meaning of the phrase is in acknowledgement of your superiority in protecting their lives, etc. <\/i>(AH). It may also be added that the permission to fight, as given to the Muslims, is subject to the condition that the enemy should first take up the sword,<\/span>Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you <\/i>(2:190). The Holy Prophet never overstepped this limit, nor did his followers.<\/span> He fought against the Arabs when they took up the sword to destroy the Muslims, and he led an expedition against the Christians when the Roman Empire first mobilized its forces with the object of subjugating the Muslims. And so scrupulous was he that, when he found that the enemy had not yet taken the initiative, he did not attack the Roman Empire, but returned without fighting.<\/span> Later on, however, the Roman Empire, like the Persians, helped the enemies of Islam and fomented trouble against the newly established Muslim Kingdom,<\/span> as a result of which both these empires came into conflict with the Muslims and, notwithstanding the fact that both the Persians and the Romans were very powerful nations with unlimited resources and strong military organizations, and that they both tried at one and the same time to subjugate Islam,<\/span> the result was what is predicted here in clear words \u2014 they were both reduced to a state of subjection by an insignificant nation like the Arabs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

If Islam had \u201cincite killing\u201d of Christians and Jews <\/span>Prophet Mohammad, on reports that the Romans were preparing for battle, would not have returned from this expedition to Tabuk without wiping out the Romans who were unprepared for war.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>
\nIf Islam had \u201cincite <\/span><\/span>killing\u201d of Christians and Jews Prophet Mohammad would not have spared the Jews of Khaibar and returned the Torah to them.
\nIf Islam had \u201cincite killing\u201d of Christians and Jews \u2018Umar would not have spared the Christians upon his conquering of Jerusalem. Neither would Salahuddin Ayyub (Saladin) have spared the Christians of Jerusalem; nor would he have invited the Jews back to Jerusalem.
\nIf Islam had \u201cincite killing\u201d of Christians and Jews there would not be a Coptic Church in Egypt. If Islam had \u201cincite killing\u201d of Christians and Jews there would not be a Cathedral in Istanbul. If Islam had \u201cincite killing\u201d of Christians and Jews there would not be millions of Christians in Muslim lands.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 That the Prophet was required to fight the disbelievers till they say that none has the right to be worshipped but All\u0101h<\/i> does not mean that the disbelievers were forced to accept Islam.
\nWhat it means is that just as how they (the disbelievers) had the right to follow in peace what they believe, just as well they must allow the Muslims to follow in peace their belief that none has the right to be worshipped but All\u0101h.
\n<\/i>That the Prophet\u2019s duty was only to deliver the Message of the Qur\u2019an and NOT<\/span> enforce it is cemented in the following verses from All\u0101h:
\n-\u201cAnd if thy Lord had pleased, all those who are in the earth would have believed, all of them. Wilt thou then force men till they are believers?\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 10:99);
\n-\u201cAnd say: Truth is from your Lord; so let him who please believe, and let him who please disbelieve\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 18:29);
\n\u201cAnd obey All\u0101h and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away. the duty of Our Messenger is only to <\/span>DELIVER<\/span> (the<\/span> message) clearly\u201d<\/span>\u2013(Qur\u2019an 64:12; also 2:272; 3:20; 5:95, 102; 10:99; 13:40; 16:82; 24:54; 29:18; 46:35).<\/span>
\nIslam is the \u201cabode of peace\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 10:25). \u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding the statement of All\u0101h:<\/span> \u201cAnd whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 3:85).
\n<\/span>Islam means peace and submission to the will of All\u0101h, God. As all prophets submitted to the will of All\u0101h, they followed Islam.
\nThe followers of these prophets who lived by the instructions of their prophets, and thus were submitting to the will of All\u0101h, were also following Islam.
\nHowever, Jewish belief that they are God\u2019s \u201cchosen people\u201d to the exclusion of others\u2013(Qur\u2019an 62:6-7. Also; 5:18); and Christians divinity of Jesus, inherited sin and vicarious atonement are not Divine revelations \u2013these doctrines were not were not taught by the prophets of All\u0101h, God\u2013<\/span> and thus the Jews and Christians are not submitting to the will of All\u0101h, God, and thus, are not following Islam.
\nEven if Jews and Christians were following only that which Moses and Jesus taught \u2013and Moses and Jesus foretold the coming of another prophet and commanded their people to follow this new teacher\/<\/span><\/span><\/span>Comforter<\/a><\/span>\u00a0who will then guide them into \u201call truth\u201d\u2013,<\/span> once they come to know about the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad \u2013and they are obligated to investigate it if their intention is to follow truth and have eternal life\u2013 <\/span>and as they cannot dispute\/refute Mohammad\u2019s claim to Divine Messengership and as no religion can be shown to be superior than or equal to, Islam, whoever rejects Islam is going to Hell; the Prophet\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Mohammad<\/a><\/span>\u00a0emphasizes this point:
\n<\/span>\u201cBy Him (All\u0101h) in whose hand is the life of Muhammad, he who amongst the community of Jews or Christians hears about me, but does not affirm his belief in that which I have been sent and dies in this state (of disbelief) he shall be but one of the denizens of Hell-Fire\u201d\u2013(Muslim, Vol, 1, # 284). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>All\u0101h God would not call us to account for what we do not know but when knowledge comes to us there is no excuse for not accepting and following it? There is no Scriptural Message to equal the Message of Islam as brought by the Prophet Mohammad:<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>Qur\u2019an<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>consists of the teachings of other Scriptures that are applicable for all time, and contains teachings that are not met with in previous Scriptures and thus it exceeds and supersedes all Scriptures.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Whereas\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Botros, Father Zakaria<\/a><\/span>\u00a0erroneously charge that the Qur\u2019an and Hadith \u201cincite killing of Christians,\u201d according to the Bible<\/span> <\/span>\u201cThe Lord is a man of war\u201d\u2013(Exodus 15:3. And considering that Christians claim that Jesus is God then Jesus is \u201ca man of war\u201d)<\/span><\/span>.
\n<\/span>And Father Botros\u2019 and Christian\u2019s Scriptural history is soaked with the blood of the young and old, including children; not even the \u201cox, and sheep, and ass\u201d were spared the \u201cedge of the sword,\u201d<\/span> <\/span>\u201cbut utterly destroyed everything that breathed\u201d<\/span>\u2013(Deut; 7:1-2; Josh. 6:21; 10:33-40, 12:6).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover, Father Botros\u2019 and Christian\u2019s God, Jesus, commanded:
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span> \u201cTheir children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished\u201d\u2013(Isaiah 13:16);\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>In fact, even the fetus is not spared:<\/span>
\n\u201cEveryone that is found shall be thrust through; and everyone that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword,\u201d \u201cand they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb;<\/span> their eye shall <\/span><\/span>NOT<\/span> spare children,\u201d \u201cSamaria\u2026shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces<\/span>, and their women with child shall be ripped up\u201d<\/span>\u2013Isaiah 13:15, 18; Hosea 13:16). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Even when Father Botros\u2019 God and son of God, Jesus, had no military power he ordered that his enemies who didn\u2019t want him to rule be brought and slain (even though these enemies might not militate against his rule)<\/span>\u2013(Luke 19:27).
\nImagine the carnage if this son of God and Christian\u2019s \u201cGod\u201d had military power; given that Muslims and Jews and atheists (and perhaps even Hindus) do not accept him as Christian\u2019s project him to be and would thus be considered his enemies, then some six billion people would be slaughtered. <\/span><\/span>It is Christians and the Christian\u2019s Bible and God and son of God that \u201cincite killing\u201d of others.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Botros, Father Zakaria<\/span><\/a>\u00a0demands\u00a0<\/span><\/span>that Muslims Delete verses of the Qur\u2019an and hadith that incite terrorism and oppression in all forms, such as verses \u201curging believers to fight,\u201d and hadith that \u201cI was commanded to fight until they say \u2018none has the right to be worshipped but All\u0101h,\u201d claiming that this is \u201cterrorism and murder.\u201d (Father Botros needs to read his Bible to know about \u201cterrorism and oppression\u201d and \u201cmurder\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Response:<\/span><\/span><\/i> Islam forbids oppression\u2013(Qur\u2019an 2:193; 8:39; 42:39-42).
\nAs noted above there is no \u201cterrorism\u201d in Islam.<\/span> Muslims are allowed a defensive fighting and to make peace even in the face of possible deception by the enemies\u2013(Qur\u2019an 8:61-62); and that it is better to forgive and reconcile\u2013(Qur\u2019an 42:40-43).<\/span>
\n<\/span>It is the Christian\u2019s Bible and God and son of God, as shown above, that engages in \u201cterrorism;\u201d (and sanctions slavery and subjugation of women)\u2013(Exodus 21:7; Lev. 25:44. See\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Christianity-women<\/a>;\u00a0Jesus-liberates women<\/a>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHistory makes it clear, however, that the legend\u00a0of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and\u00a0forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered\u00a0races is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that\u00a0historians have ever repeated.\u201d<\/span> 3<\/span><\/sup><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTHEY <\/span>(Muhummed\u2019s critics)<\/span> SEE FIRE INSTEAD OF\u00a0LIGHT, UGLINESS INSTEAD OF GOOD. THEY DISTORT \u00a0AND PRESENT EVERY GOOD QUALITY AS A GREAT VICE.\u00a0 IT REFLECTS THEIR OWN DEPRAVITY\u2026THE CRITICS ARE\u00a0BLIND. THEY CANNOT SEE THAT THE ONLY \u2018SWORD\u2019 <\/span>MUHAMMAD WIELDED WAS THE SWORD OF MERCY,\u00a0<\/span>COMPASSION, FRIENDSHIP AND FORGIVENESS \u2013 THE <\/span>SWORD THAT CONQUERS ENEMIES AND PURIFIES THEIR <\/span>HEARTS<\/span>. HIS SWORD WAS SHARPER THAN THE SWORD OF S<\/span>TEEL<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>\u201d <\/span>4<\/span><\/sup><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Muslims have generally been tolerant of Christians; though Christians almost invariably prove \u201ctreacherous.\u201d<\/span> Thomas W. Arnold in his book The Preaching of Islam<\/i>:
\n<\/span>\u201cof any organised attempt to force the acceptance of Islam on the non-Muslim population, or of any systematic persecution intended to stamp out the\u00a0Christian religion,<\/span> we hear nothing.<\/span> Had the caliphs\u00a0chosen to adopt either course of action, they might have\u00a0swept way Christianity <\/span>as easily as Ferdinand and\u00a0Isabella drove Islam out of Spain, or Louis XIV made\u00a0Protestantism penal in France, or the Jews were kept out\u00a0of England for 350 years.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>The Eastern Churches in Asia\u00a0were entirely cut off from communion with the rest of \u00a0Christendom, throughout which no one would have been\u00a0found to lift a finger on their behalf, as heretical\u00a0communions. So that the very survival of these Churches\u00a0to the present day is a strong proof of<\/span> the generally\u00a0tolerant attitude of the Muhammadan governments\u00a0towards them.\u201d <\/span>(p. 80).<\/span>
\nMr. Arnold also has noted what\u00a0may very well be<\/span><\/span> a timeless observation:<\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span>\u201cMany of the\u00a0persecutions of the Christians in Muslim countries can\u00a0be traced either to<\/span> distrust of their loyalty, excited\u00a0<\/span>by the intrigues and interference of Christian foreigners\u00a0<\/span>and the enemies of Islam,<\/span><\/span> or to the bad feeling stirred up\u00a0by <\/span>the treacherous or brutal behaviour of the latter <\/span>towards the Musalmans.\u201d<\/span><\/span> (p. 77).<\/span><\/p>\n

Another magnificent demonstration of Islamic \u201ctolerance\u201d is that given by the Caliph \u2018Umar upon his conquer of Jerusalem, as noted by Muhammad Ali. When the Christian Patriarch suggested that \u2018Umar should offer his prayers \u2013the time being due\u2013 at the church of the Resurrection, the honorable Caliph refused; \u201csaying his prayers neither there nor in the famous church of Constantine, where prayer carpets had already been spread out.\u201d Explaining that \u201cShould we say our prayers here,\u201d he observed, \u201cMuslims might some day claim the right to erect a mosque in this place.\u201d\u201d5<\/span><\/sup> What magnanimity.<\/span> There is none that equals Islam\u2019s majestic \u201ctolerance.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To emphasize, to the charge that Islam forces religion onto people at the point of the sword I only need quote three verses from All\u0101h:
\n<\/span>\u201cAnd if thy Lord had pleased, all those who are in the earth would have believed, all of them. Wilt thou then force men till they are believers?\u201d\u2013(10:99);
\n\u201cAnd say: Truth is from your Lord; so let him who please believe, and let him who please disbelieve\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 18:29); \u201cAnd the Messenger\u2019s duty is only to DELIVER<\/span> (the message) plainly\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 24:54. also 2:272; 3:20; 5:95, 102; 10:99; 13:40; 16:82; 29:18; 46:35; 64:12). <\/span>
\nIslam is the \u201cabode of peace\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 10:25).<\/span> No one can disprove this! This is an open challenge!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Contrastingly. It is Christianity, as its history and Jesus\u2019 declarations show, that brought division strife and forces religion at the point of the sword:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 -\u201cI am come to send FIRE on the earth\u201d\u2013(Luke 12:49).\u00a0<\/span>
\n-Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth, Nay; but rather DIVISION: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; and the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law\u201d\u2013(Luke 12:51-53).<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0-\u201cFor I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man\u2019s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me\u201d\u2013(Matthew 10:35-37).<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 -\u201cThink NOT that I am come to send peace on earth: I came NOT to send peace, but a SWORD\u201d\u2013(Matthew 10:34).
\n<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 -\u201cIf any man come to me, and HATE NOT his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple\u201d<\/em>\u2013(Luke 14:26).<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0-\u201cHe that is not with me is against me\u201d (and a person can be neutral)\u2013(Matthew 12:30).
\n-\u201cBut those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me\u201d (though the enemies might not militate against him)\u2013(Luke 19:27).
\nIf these sayings of Jesus in Matthew 12:30 and Luke 19:27 were\u00a0<\/span>implemented billions who do not accept Jesus would need to be butchered.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
