Whether inherited<\/em> sin or\u00a0committed<\/em> sin, the God that puts one person\u2019s sin onto others and even have the innocent killed for the guilty is not worthy of adoration. Not even honest humans suffer the innocent for the guilty.<\/span>
\nThe God or son of God or prophet that regards one sector of humanity as \u201cdogs\u201d and \u201cswine\u201d and even preach so they would not understand and be saved is the God\/son of God\/prophet not worthy of honor much less of adoration and worship. Even humans fight against racism and bigotry. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0JESUS & GOD ARE ONE<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span>Christians say that Jesus is God; and that Father (God) Son (Jesus) and Holy Ghost\/Spirit are one and the same entity. And (noting\u00a0the applicable portions)\u00a0the Gospels state:\u00a0\u201cThe Holy Ghost shall come upon thee (Mary)\u2026and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee\u201d<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cthat which is CONCEIVED in her (Mary) is of the Holy Ghost\u201d\u2013(Luke 1:35; Matt. 1:20).
\nIf Jesus is God then Jesus (as the Holy Ghost and as the Highest) came upon his OWN mother and effected his OWN conception with HIS MOTHER.\u00a0This is incest.
\nGod, Holy Ghost and Jesus committed incest???<\/span><\/p>\n

Christians are noted for taking statements out of context to support their false beliefs that Jesus is <\/span><\/span>God<\/span><\/span><\/a>;\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>son of God<\/span><\/span><\/a>; part of a <\/span><\/span>trinity<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0with God; and that he <\/span><\/span>died for <\/span><\/span>inherited sin<\/span><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0 Though Jesus clearly declared he was <\/span><\/span>a Muslim and taught Islam<\/span><\/span><\/a>;\u00a0that God sent him\u00a0<\/span><\/span>only for Jews<\/span><\/span><\/a> and\u00a0he foretold the coming of another\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Comforter<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0who will guide into “all truth” and will “abide for ever.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus mostly spoke in metaphors and preached in parables.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus saying in John 10:30: \u201cI and my Father are one.\u201d<\/span> means that Jesus and God are one in purpose<\/span><\/i>;<\/span> as all prophets are \u201cone\u201d in purpose with God, as they do only as they are commanded by God: \u201cFor I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak\u201d<\/span>\u2013(John 12:49; 14:10).<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus also said \u201cI pray for them (Jews)\u2026That they may all be one; as Thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also my be <\/span><\/span>ONE IN US<\/span><\/span>\u201d\u2013(John 17:9-21).<\/span><\/span> If Jesus is God because he said he and his Father are \u201cone,\u201d<\/i> then the Jews he is praying for so that they also could be \u201cone\u201d \u201cin us\u201d<\/i> would also be God(s). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(Mothers and fathers who raise their children in Godliness, in this respect, may rightly claim that they and God are \u201cone,\u201d as it is God\u2019s purpose to have us live in Godliness). <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus said \u201cI proceeded forth and came from God;<\/span> neither came I of myself, but He sent me<\/span>\u201d\u2013(John 8:42.<\/span> This statement by Jesus clearly and conclusively shows that Jesus is <\/span><\/span>NOT<\/span><\/span> God and could <\/span><\/span>NOT <\/span><\/span>be God!).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>That Jesus \u201cproceeded forth and came from God\u201d is not restricted to Jesus; <\/span>everyone \u201cproceedeth forth and come from God;\u201d shown later.Jesus said \u201cno man hath ascended up to heaven\u2026even the Son of man <\/span>WHICH IS IN HEAVEN<\/span>\u201d\u2013John 3:13.<\/span> Since Jesus is on earth and the Son of man is yet in heaven, then clearly this Son of man will also \u201cproceed forth and come from God\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>-Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:23 state that Jesus\u2019 NAME shall be Immanuel\/Emmanuel, which is \u201cINTERPRETED\u201d to mean \u201cGod with us.\u201d Notably, only the NAME\u201cImmanuel\u201d is \u201cINTERPRETED\u201d to mean \u201cGod with us,\u201d NOT that Immanuel\/Jesus is \u201cGod with us.\u201d<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Significantly; whereas Luke 1:35 states Jesus shall be \u201cCALLED\u201d \u201cSON\u201d <\/i>of God, Isaiah and Matthew state Jesus is named \u201cGOD\u201d<\/i> with us.\u201d If these names are literal, Jesus could not be \u201cSON\u201d of God and yet be GOD and yet \u201cproceeded forth and CAME FROM GOD\u201d and be \u201cSENT\u201d by God. As only Jesus\u2019 NAME means \u201cGod with us\u201d Jesus is NOTGod and\u00a0he could NOT beGod! <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Isaiah 7:14-15 speaking about Immanuel says: \u201cButter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.\u201d <\/span>It would be ludicrous to the extreme to cerebrate that God or Son of God needs to eat \u201cButter and honey\u201d in order to refuse evil and choose good.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Luke 2:52 states: \u201cAnd Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with <\/span><\/span>GOD <\/span><\/span>and <\/span><\/span>MAN<\/span><\/span>.\u201d <\/span><\/span>It is gross absurdity to entertain that God needs to increase in wisdom and stature and to find favour with man. And if Jesus was God, God would be finding favor with himself. Since more than half the world \u2013atheists and non-Christians\u2013<\/span> does not accept Jesus as vicarious atoner (at least) it is doubtful the Christian\u2019s God, Jesus, would ever find \u201cfavour\u201d with (all) man.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus says: \u201cI ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God\u201d\u2013(John 20:17).<\/span> If Jesus is God, the Jews, having the same Father as Jesus, must also be God(s). <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus saying, \u201che that hath seen me hath seen the Father,\u201d<\/span> means that whoever saw his works (of miracles) has seen the miracles of God; for Jesus performed miracles through the power of God\u2013(John 14:9; Luke 11:20; Acts 2:22).\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 This is made clear by Jesus in John 14:10 where Jesus says: \u201cBelieve thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak <\/span><\/span>NOT OF MYSELF<\/span><\/span>: but the <\/span><\/span>FATHER THAT DWELLETH IN ME, HE DOETH THE WORKS<\/span><\/span>.\u201d <\/span><\/span>(Notably, God dwells in every man: \u201cKnow ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the <\/span>SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLETH IN YOU<\/span>?\u201d\u20131 Cor. 3:16. Compare with Qur\u2019an: \u201cThen He (All\u0101h) made him (man) complete and breathed into him of His Spirit\u201d\u2013(<\/span>15:29; 32:9; 38:72).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 1 John 5:7 states: \u201cFor there are three that <\/span><\/span>BEAR RECORD<\/span><\/strong><\/span> in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one\u201d <\/span><\/span>(which is assumed to be Trinity. Notably, the Gideons New American Standard Bible, 1973, does <\/span>NOT<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>have this verse. Whose Bible is right?)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Significantly<\/span>, <\/span>this<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>statement was\u00a0<\/i><\/span>NOT<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>made by Jesus, but by John. It does not mean Father, Word (as Jesus is referred to) and Holy Ghost are one, it means the <\/span>\u201cRECORD<\/span>\u201d<\/strong><\/span> of these three is \u201cone\u201d \u2013i.e. <\/i>they are in agreement, they do not contradict the other \u2013the words the prophet<\/strong> teaches are the words he received from the angel<\/strong> of revelation, which words were given to the angel by God<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On the Day of Judgment these three will bear witness against man. God who will bear witness He sent guidance; the Angel will bear witness he delivered the guidance to the prophet; the prophet(s) will bear witness he delivered the message to his people; thus these three \u201cwitnesses\u201d will be \u201cone\u201d or same: that is, that Divine Message was given to man. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 That the witness of God, His prophet and Angel are \u201cone.\u201d On the Day of Judgment people will becalled with their respective prophet(s); the prophetswilltestifytheydelivered God\u2019s mess-age. Thus, Jesus admonished his followers: \u201cMany<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>will<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>say<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to me<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>that<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>day<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(of Judgment),Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>done<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>many<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>wonderful<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>works? And then I will profess unto them, <\/span><\/span>I NEVER KNEW YOU; DEPART<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>FROM<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>ME<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span>YE<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>THAT<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>WORK<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>INIQUITY<\/span><\/span>\u201d\u2013(Matt<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span> 7:22-23).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Which words of Jesus finds consonance<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Qur\u2019an<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>5:116-117<\/span>.<\/span>\u201cAnd when All\u0101h will say: O Jesus, son of Mary, didst thou say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides All\u0101h? He will say: Glory be to Thee! It was not for me to say what I had no right to say\u2026I said to them naught save as Thou didst command me:<\/strong> Serve All\u0101h, my Lord and your Lord.<\/strong>\u201d (Com-pare with Mark 12:29).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 In Exodus 3:14 God says His name is \u201c<\/span>I AM<\/span>.<\/strong><\/span>\u201d In John 8:58 Jesus says: \u201cBefore Abraham was, I am<\/i>.\u201d<\/span> This \u201cI am\u201d of Jesus does not mean that Jesus is saying he is God. All Jesus is saying is that before Abraham was, I am before Abraham <\/i>\u2013where the \u201cbefore Abraham\u201d<\/i> is understood; much like instead of saying I am taller than he is tall, <\/i>it is said I am taller than him, <\/i>or I am taller than he is<\/i>. (Notably, God\u2019s \u201cI AM<\/strong>\u201d is capital letters, Jesus\u2019 is not. God\u2019s name is also \u201cJealous\u201d\u2013(Exodus 34:14).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus being before Abraham refers to him pre-existing Abraham as Solomon pre-existed Jesus\u2013(Prov. 8:23-35. Seems everyone had a pre-existence: \u201cthe word of the Lord came unto me saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee\u201d\u2013(Jeremiah 1:5).<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 That every person had a pre-existence. We took an oath with All\u0101h before we were sent into the world. All\u0101h reminds us of this in His Qur\u2019an: \u201cAnd when thy Lord brought forth from the children of Adam, from their loins, their descendants, and made them bear witness about themselves: Am I not your Lord? They said: Yes; we bear witness.<\/strong> Lest you should say on the day of Resurrection: We were unaware of this, Or (lest) you should say: Only our fathers ascribed partners (to Allah) before (us), and we were (their) descendants after them. Wilt Thou destroy us for what liars did?\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 7:172-173).<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Thus, not only Jesus, but all of us \u201cproceedeth forth and come from God.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 John 1:1-5 says: \u201cIn the beginning there was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.\u201d<\/span>(There is <\/strong><\/span>NO <\/strong><\/span>mention of the third party of the Trinity, the \u201cHoly Ghost\u201d). <\/strong><\/span>That the Word was \u201cwith God\u201d and that the Word \u201cwas God\u201d \u2013this is the same as saying that God was with God. The word could not be with God and yet be God. <\/span>Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din notes: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe term word,<\/i> used in St. John, which stands for the Greek word Logos<\/i>, is an inadequate rendering. In all his writings Philo<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>speaks<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Logos<\/i><\/span>,\u2013<\/span>a<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>philosophic conception of later growth and a development of the \u201cIdea of Plato,\u201d in his theory of Emanation. It does not mean Word<\/i>; it conveys<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cThought<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>as<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>well<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>as<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>expression.\u201d Plato<\/span>, <\/span>when dealing with the subject, spoke of something \u2013as the first thing in creation that may be styled \u201cReason or Wisdom\u201d\u2013 the first product of Herbert Spencer\u2019s \u201cFirst Intelligent Cause.\u201d
\n<\/span><\/span>Notably, Philo \u201clived and wrote all this one hundred years before the writers, whosoever they may be, of that Gospel.\u201d <\/strong>(The Sources of Christianity<\/i>, pp. 76-77, this book may obtained from www.muslim.org<\/span><\/a>). <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus is \u201ca\u201d word, <\/span>NOT\u00a0 <\/i><\/span>\u201cthe\u201d word, from All\u0101h<\/span>\u2013<\/span>(Qur\u2019an 3:44)<\/span>. <\/span>\u201cWord\u201d is not exclusive to Jesus. The words <\/i>of All\u0101h are so numerous that if all the trees were pens, and the sea with seven more seas added to it were ink, to write the words of All\u0101h, they would all be exhausted before the words of Allah would be exhausted \u2013(Qur\u2019an 31:27; 18:109. See Qur\u2019an 6:34, 10:64, 66:12 for \u201cwords\u201d of All\u0101h). Everything created must be a \u201cword\u201d of All\u0101h; the Bible also teaches this where God decreed creation by saying \u201cLet there be\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u2013<\/span><\/span>(Gen. 1:3-25).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Jesus as \u201cword\u201d means \u201cpromise,\u201d as All\u0101h had promised Mary to give her a son\u2013(Qur\u2019an 3:45). <\/span>Jesus made it clear he is not God: \u201cWhy callest thou me good? there is <\/i><\/span>NONE <\/span><\/strong>good but one<\/span><\/i>, that is <\/span>GOD<\/span><\/strong>\u201d\u2013(Matt. 19:17; Mark 10:18).<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 Jesus not only denies he is God, he denies he is good. If Jesus is God:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 -God is sitting on his right hand\u2013(Mark 16:19).<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 -God ascended to himself\u2013(John 20:17).\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 -God led himself to be tempted by the devil\u2013(Matt. 4:1).<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 -God sent himself to Jews\u2013(John 6:38; 17:3).<\/span>
\n\u00a0 -God would have known <\/span>the day and hour of future events\u2013(Mark 13:32).<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 -God is made into a \u201ccurse\u201d\u2013(Gal. 3:13; Deut. 21:23).\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0 -God prayed to himself; \u201cforsaken,\u201d thanked, heard and worshipped himself\u2013(Matt; 26:39; 27: 46; Luke 10:21; John 11:41; 4:22. Whereas Jesus prayed to and worshipped God, Christians pray to and worship Jesus<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus also said that man can be as perfect as God: <\/span> \u201c(be) perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect\u201d\u2013(Matt. 5:48).<\/span> Does this mean that the \u201cperfect\u201d man is God? In fact God says that Noah was \u201cjust\u201d and \u201cperfect\u201d: \u201cNoah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God\u201d\u2013(Gen. 6:9). <\/span>Does this mean that Noah is God?<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 And God made Moses a god unto Pharaoh: \u201cAnd the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a God to Pharaoh\u201d\u2013(Exodus 7:1).<\/span> Would Christians say that Moses is God or a God? In fact, since Jesus is only a \u201cson\u201d of God (as Christians claim) and Moses is a \u201cgod\u201d then Moses is greater than Jesus. Moreover, God calls the Elders of Israel gods, as stated by Jesus in his arguments with the Jews in John 10:35-36: \u201cIs it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods<\/span>? If he (God) called them gods, unto whom the word of God came,<\/span> and the scripture cannot be broken; say ye of him (Jesus), whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemeth; because I said I am the son of God?\u201d <\/span>(Jesus may very well mean that he is son of one of these Elders of Israel \u2013John the Baptist as some argue\u2013 and not son of God, the Creator).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Christians take Jesus\u2019 figurative expressions literally and his literal expressions, such as to sell your garments and buy swords figuratively. D<\/span>eclared the Prince of Peace: <\/span>\u201che that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one\u201d\u2013(Luke 22:36).<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>As the context of Luke 22:35-51 shows, Jesus, knowing that the Jews were out to kill him, ordered his disciples to prepare themselves in defense by arming themselves with \u201cswords;\u201d which \u201csword\u201d was used against the high priest\u2019s servant to \u201ccut off his right ear\u201d and which ear Jesus \u201ctouched\u201d and \u201chealed\u201d\u2013(Luke 22:49-51).<\/span> No metaphorical \u201csword\u201d can \u201ccut off\u201d a physical \u201cear\u201d and Jesus would have had no need to touch and heal a metaphorically-cut ear; here is the full statement: \u201cWhen they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him. Lord, shall we <\/span>SMITE WITH THE SWORD<\/span>? And one of them <\/span>SMOTE<\/span> the servant of the high priest, and <\/span>CUT OFF HIS RIGHT EAR.<\/span> And Jesus\u2026<\/span>TOUCHED HIS EAR, AND HEALED HIM<\/span>)\u2013(Luke 22:47-51).
\n<\/span><\/span>This statement of Jesus is taken to be metaphorical whereas the metaphorical \u201cson of God\u201d and Jesus\u2019 \u201cI and my Father are one\u201d etc; are taken to be of literal import. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 If Jesus performing\u00a0<\/span>Miracles<\/span><\/span><\/a> make Jesus God then<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 -the pool at Bethesda must be \u201cDivine\u201d\u2013(John 5:2-4);<\/span>
\n\u00a0 -and Moses\u2013(Exodus 7:10; 14:21); Elijah\u2013(1 Kings 17:17-23; 2 Kings 2:7-8);<\/span>
\n\u00a0 -Elisha\u2013(2 Kings 2:12-14; 2 Kings 4:32-36);<\/span>
\n\u00a0 -Joshua who made the moon and sun stand still\u2013(Joshua 10:12-13);<\/span>
\n\u00a0 -the river Jordan which healed Namaan\u2013(2 Kings 5:9-14);<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0-Elisha’s dead bones which brought a dead man back to life\u2013(2 Kings 13:20-21);<\/span>
\n\u00a0 -the statue of a brass serpent that had the power to preserve life\u2013(Num. 21:8-9);<\/span>
\n\u00a0-Balaam\u2019s ass which performed the miracle of speaking to Balaam\u2013(Num. 22:28, 30);\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0 -false Christ\u2019s and false prophets that can perform miracles\u2013(Matt. 24:24);<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 all these performers of miracles must also be \u201cGod.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Considering that even false Christs and false prophets can also perform miracles as Jesus declared, \u201creason\u201d would dictate that the performing of miracles is no proof of \u201cdivinity\u201d or \u201cdivine calling,\u201d In fact, even with all his stupendous miracles the Jews yet tried to kill Jesus and to this day do not believe in him. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Whereas Jesus prayed to God and exhorted his followers to do the same (the Lord\u2019s Prayer); and he worshipped God (at his raising of Lazarus and in the Garden of Gethsemane to be spared death) and in his most desperate moment called out to God (from the cross\/pole), Christians are praying to and worshipping and calling out to Jesus.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus made it absolutely clear that he is not God: \u201cThou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and <\/span>HIM<\/span> only shalt thou serve\u201d \u2013(Matt. 4:10);\u00a0 \u201cWhy callest thou me good? there is <\/span>NONE<\/span> good but <\/span>ONE, THAT IS GOD<\/span>\u201d\u2013(Matt. 19:17).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 On the alleged Divinity of Jesus. In the tenth year of the Hijrah, the Prophet Mohammad had a discussion with the Christians of Najran. This dialogue is noted by Khwaja Nazir Ahmad in his book Jesus in Heaven on Earth, (pp. 174-176)\u2013 (footnotes to this narrative are omitted):-<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cThe last objection of the Christians is that the Holy Qur’an cites the case of Adam as a parallel to that of Jesus; therefore Jesus, like Adam, was without a father. They urge that Jesus was created, like Adam, by a Divine Command: kun fa yakoon. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 In this connection Christian critics of Islam refer to the following Qur\u2019anic verse: <\/span><\/p>\n

Surely the likeness of Jesus is with Allah as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, Be, and he was. (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of the disputers-(Qur’an 3:58-59).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 All commentators of the Holy Qur’an, ancient and modern, agree that these verses, along with some others, were revealed when the Holy Prophet was having a discussion with the Christians of Najran in the tenth year of the Hijra. This deputation consisted of sixty men and was headed by Abdul Masih, the chief of the Christians of Najran.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The discussion took place in the Mosque of the Holy Prophet where the visitors had been lodged and permitted to hold their own prayers. In Sirat-ul-Halabi the visit of this deputation is described in full detail. The point at issue was the divinity of Jesus. (The plural pronoun \u201cThey\u201d was used throughout to indicate that Abdul Masih was speaking on behalf of himself and his companions). (Emphasis added).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cAbdul Masih, the leader of the Christians, opened the discussion and enquired from the Holy Prophet: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They said: What do you think of our Lord (Sahib)?\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God enquired: “Who is your Lord?”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They replied: Isa. Do you take him to be a servant of God?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They then asked: “Have you seen anyone like him, or have you been informed of a man like him? He is God because he had no father, he raised the dead, he gave information of the unseen, he cured lepers and made birds from clay. Consider this superiority. Do you still call him a servant of God?”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Holy Prophet did not answer at once for at that very moment came the Divine revelation and one of the verses revealed was:<\/span><\/p>\n

Surely the likeness of Jesus is with All\u0101h as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said, Be, and he was. (Qur\u2019an 3:59)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 It may be noticed that the verse does not say that the creation of Jesus was like that of Adam. I now quote the discussion from Tafsir Ibn Jarir at-Tabari where it is recorded in full detail under this very verse: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They questioned:\u00a0\u00a0 “Who was his father?”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God replied: “Don’t you know that no child is born but has a likeness to its father in form and appearance?” <\/span><\/i><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes, we know.” <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God said: “Don’t you know that our God is alive and will never die and Jesus had to die?”<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes, we know.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God said: “Don’t you know that our God is One to Whom everything submits. He is the Custodian and Guardian of all and He gives sustenance to everyone?”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They replied:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes, we know.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God questioned: “Was Jesus possessed of any of these powers?”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They replied:\u00a0\u00a0 “No.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God then asked: “Did Jesus know of any of these things except those of which God gave him knowledge?”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They answered:\u00a0\u00a0 “No.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God said: “Don’t you know that our God neither eats, nor drinks, nor does He answer the calls of nature?”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes, we know.” <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Then said the Messenger of God: “Don’t you know that Jesus was conceived by a woman\u00a0\u00a0 just as any other woman conceives a child<\/span><\/strong>, then she gave birth to him like every other woman gives birth to a child<\/i>, he was then reared up like other children, then he used to eat and drink and answer the calls of nature like other human beings?”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 They said:\u00a0\u00a0 “Yes, we know.” <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Messenger of God then enquired: “How can Messiah be the One you take him to be (i.e. God)?<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rabi narrates that the Christians could not reply to this question, but would not agree either and insisted on their false belief. As a last resort the Holy Prophet invited them in the terms of the revelation: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut whoever disputes with you in this matter after what has come to you of knowledge, then say: Come! let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women, and our people and your people, then let us be earnest in prayer and pray for the curse of Allah on the liars\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 3:61).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Christians wanted time to consider the challenge and on the next day Abdul Masih and two of his companions informed the Holy Prophet that they had decided not to accept it, and that they would not pray against him nor invite him to pray against them. Thereupon an agreement was entered into whereby they were made free to practise their religion.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus having performed miracles through the POWER OF GOD\u2013(Luke 11:20; John 8:28, 11:42; Acts 2:22; Qur\u2019an 3:48), Jesus could not be God.\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0The Gospels state that at the baptism of Jesus \u201cthe Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a <\/span>DOVE<\/span> upon him, and a <\/span>VOICE<\/span>came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased\u201d\u2013(Luke 3:21-22.<\/span>\u00a0 Though the \u201cbeloved\u201d son blasphemed from the cross that the Father had \u201cforsaken\u201d him).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Bear in mind Jesus was on land, the \u201cdove\u201d in the air, and \u201ca\u201d voice from heaven \u2013all are in separate forms and existences\u2013 thus Father, Son and Holy Ghost cannot be \u201cone.\u201d(That 1+1+1=1, and 1 divided by 3=1 is mathematicide).<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Significantly, the verse says \u201cA\u201d voice came from heaven. But Jesus said about God: \u201cYe have <\/span>NEITHER<\/span> heard his voice at <\/span>ANY TIME<\/span>, nor seen his shape\u201d\u2013(John 5:37).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Whereas Jesus was only a messenger of God sent to the Israelites to call them to \u201crepentance\u201d and \u201cforgiveness\u201d, Christians consigned Jesus to the bed of celibacy, crowned him with Divinity and made him scapegoat for non-existent inherited sin; and whereas David was material king Christians make Jesus spiritual king of future-world. (See <\/span>Jesus-like David<\/span><\/span><\/a>; <\/span>Jesus-foretold;<\/span><\/span><\/a> Jesus-1000-year rule<\/span><\/span><\/a>).
\nJesus says you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free (from lies, falsehood, and blasphemy). And the Divine truth is, Jesus was a prophet of God\u00a0and <\/span>\u201cTHERE IS NO GOD BUT ALL\u0100H; <\/span>MOHAMMAD IS THE MESSENGER OF ALL\u0100H!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
