{"id":2502,"date":"2017-01-05T22:27:53","date_gmt":"2017-01-05T22:27:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nogodbutallah.org\/?page_id=2502"},"modified":"2017-01-05T22:27:53","modified_gmt":"2017-01-05T22:27:53","slug":"ishmael-wild-ass-of-a-man-or-fruitful","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/nogodbutallah.org\/?page_id=2502","title":{"rendered":"Ishmael-wild ass of a man or fruitful?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">In the name of All\u0101h,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> the Beneficent, the Merciful.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> Peace and Blessings of All\u0101h on Mohammad.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> DEDICATED TO<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> All\u0101h\u2013the Glorious and the High,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> Lord of the worlds<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> AND TO<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> Mohammad\u2013who brought the world<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> to our feet and eternity to our arms<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\">*<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0ISHMAEL\u2013WILD ASS OF A MAN OR FRUITFUL?<br \/>\n<\/span>Christians are of the belief that Muslims are fighting with everyone because the Bible says Ishmael (the father of Mohammad\/Arabs and by extension, Muslims) will be \u201ca wild man,\u201d or the more doozy description as noted in the Jewish rendering<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>1<\/sup> <\/span>\u201ca wild ass of a man.\u201d<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(If Muslims are \u201cwild ass[es] of a man, Christian Arabs, also descendants of Ishmael, are \u201cwild ass[es] of a man\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Genesis 16:12, which follows Sarah casting out Hajra\/Hagar, who was pregnant with Abraham\u2019s child, Ishmael, says:<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201cThen the Angel of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0said to her (Hajra\/Hagar), \u201cI will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">And the Angel of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0said to her: \u201cBehold, you\u00a0are\u00a0with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, Because the\u00a0Lord\u00a0has heard your affliction.\u00a0He shall be a wild man; His hand\u00a0shall be\u00a0against every man, And every man\u2019s hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren\u201d\u2013(Genesis 16:10-12).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, that Ishmael shall be a \u201cwild ass\u201d or \u201cwild ass of a man\u201d is an incorrect translation of the Hebrew.<br \/>\nCommenting on the words that God will \u201cmultiply your (Ishmael\u2019s) descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude,\u201d \u00a0Prof. Abdul Ahad Dawud B.D. <span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2013\u201cthe former Reverend David Benjamin Keldani, B.D., a Roman Catholic priest of the Uniate-Chaldean sect\u201d\u2013<\/span> explains that \u201cthe Christians have translated the same Hebrew word, which means \u201cfruitful\u201d or \u201cplentiful\u201d from the verb <em>para <\/em>\u2013identical with the Arabic <em>wefera<\/em>\u2013 in their versions \u201ca wild ass\u201d!\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Is it not a shame and impiety to call Ishmael \u201ca wild ass\u201d whom God styles \u201cFruitful\u201d or \u201cPlentiful\u201d?\u201d<\/span> (Full text on this quote will be given later).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That Ishmael\u2019s \u201chand\u00a0shall be\u00a0against every man, And every man\u2019s hand against him,\u201d is no reference to warfare by Arabs\/Muslims against others. \u00a0<span style=\"color: #800080;\">(The prophet Mohammad\/s mission was only to preach the Divine message, not to enforce it<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>2 <\/sup><\/span>The Prophet was forced to fight a defensive war).<br \/>\n<\/span>Allah God revealed in the Qur\u2019an that He sent messengers\/prophets to all nations\u2013(Qur\u2019an 10:47; 16:36), \u00a0and appointed acts of devotion for them\u2013(Qur\u2019an 22:67); and that He revealed to all His messengers that <span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201cthere is no God but Me, so serve Me\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 21:25).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, through the passage of Time the Divine Message fell into corruption. All\u0101h informs us: <span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201cBy Allah! We certainly sent (messengers) to nations before thee (Mohammad), but the devil made their deeds fair-seeming to them\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 16:63).<br \/>\n<\/span>Khwaja Kamal-Ud-Din points out in his <em>Open Letters To The Bishops of Salisbury And London<\/em>: \u201cThe whole world was a world of fetish worshippers at the appearance of Islam. From an eggshell to the man-worship of Christianity and Hinduism, the adoration that should go to God went to His creatures.\u201d (p. 17).<br \/>\nAnd in his book <em>Muhammad in World Scriptures, <\/em>Vol. 1. Abdul Haque Vidyarthi states:<br \/>\n\u201cThe condition in which the sacred scriptures of the world are found today, is really a harried one. These are, no doubt, the relics of those great\u00a0 Books that were given to\u00a0 the prophets of yore.\u00a0 No scripture of any religion was to be found in its original form and pristine purity at the time of the Holy Prophet\u2019s (Mohammad) advent, nor is one found today. Such books, therefore, cannot prove the truth of religion, nay, their own prophets stand in need of vindication. A number of suspicions and misgivings have sprung up about the prophets, Zoroaster, Abraham, Krishna and Christ so much so that they are being looked upon as mere fictitious persons.\u201d (p. 6)<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Hindus have several Gods; Gods with wives and children, and even \u201cgrand-children,\u201d and Goddesses; and Hinduism teaches <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/nogodbutallah.org\/?page_id=197\">Karma &amp; Reincarnation<\/a><\/span> and that the soul is eternal. <span style=\"color: #800080;\">(And also has sign from God that is different from Christians<\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>3<\/sup><\/span>)<\/li>\n<li>Christians say that Jesus is <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/nogodbutallah.org\/?page_id=286\">God<\/a>, <a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/nogodbutallah.org\/?page_id=215\">Son of G<\/a>od, <a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/nogodbutallah.org\/?page_id=203\">Trinity<\/a><\/span> and vicarious atoner for <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/nogodbutallah.org\/?page_id=270\">inherited sin<\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Parsis \u2013followers of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/nogodbutallah.org\/?page_id=485\">Zoroastrianism<\/a>\u2013<\/span> say that there are two Creators, Ormazd\/Ahura Mazda (God of light), and Ahriman (God of\u00a0 darkness).<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/nogodbutallah.org\/?page_id=529\">Buddhism<\/a><\/span> teaches that Buddha is God or atheist; was born of a virgin, was transfigured; ascended; and would return to \u201crestore order and happiness.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Muslims have One God Who created all things; have no\u00a0 God\u00a0 of the womb, or son of God; teach that man is born sinless, have no vicarious atoner; and that there is Resurrection and Judgment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the functions of the Qur\u2019an is that it is the Criterion\/Discrimination between religious truth and falsehood: <span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201cBlessed is He (All\u0101h) who sent down the Discrimination upon His servant (Mohammad) that he might be a warner to the nations\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 3:3; 25:1).<br \/>\n<\/span>Accordingly,<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>the Prophet Mohammad preached against the irrationality of polytheism, the futility and degradation of idolatry, the humiliation of superstition, the phantasm of paganism, the depravity of wine and profligacy and the injustice against daughters, wives, orphans and slaves, and brought against him the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201chand\u201d<\/span> of the idolatrous Arabs in poetry, and war.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>the Prophet Mohammad preached against the falsehood of Trinity, inherited sin and vicarious atonement and brought against him the<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> \u201chand\u201d<\/span> of the Christians.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">(Even during the time of the Caliphs Christians \u201chands\u201d were literally against Ishmael\/Muslims, making war to crush the fledgling Islamic State).<br \/>\n<\/span>And even in our time, unable to advance their beliefs through intelligent discourse <span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2013and there is nothing intelligent about God being in the belly of a woman, growing from a sperm(?) into a fetus, coming out her vagina and having his foreskin circumcised (God forbid); and God shifting Adam\u2019s sin onto innocent, helpless, and morally and mentally non-competent babies and then loading this sin onto Jesus to be scapegoat for sinners\u2013<\/span> Christians resorted to their disgraceful practice of yesteryear: wrapping Mohammad in the cloak of terrorist and hedonist.<br \/>\nMuhammad Ali wrote in late 19th century India:<br \/>\n\u201cThe preaching of the Christian missionary until a short time ago was of quite a different character from what it is today. In those days, the Christian missionary was under the impression that the darker the picture he drew of the Prophet of Islam, the greater would be his success in winning over converts from among the Muslims <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>(and some ignorant ones<\/em> were <em>snared)<\/em><\/span>\u2026Some\u00a0 of the Christian controversial books of those days must indeed be ranked as the filthiest literature that has ever been produced, apart from the fact that the founder of the Arya Samaj and some of his blind votaries imitated the Christian missionary, and, later on, the Arya Samajist preacher even surpassed the Christian missionary in the art of vituperation.<br \/>\n\u2026To call the Holy Prophet an impostor, <em>Dajjal <\/em>or Anti-Christ, a deceiver, a dacoit, the slave of his sensual passions whose lust knew no bounds, and to attribute every conceivable crime to him became a habit with these Christian controversialists.\u201d<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>4<\/sup> <\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\">(In fact, as MA notes further, some of the materials were so \u201cscurrilous\u201d \u201ceven Christians began to complain of them\u201d).<br \/>\n<\/span>(The <em>Internet<\/em> is pregnant with Christians denigrating Mohammad in order to snare uneducated Muslims into apostatizing from Islam. It was said to me that there is an Arab TV channel that features Christians posing as Muslim-converts to Christianity to entice Muslims to convert to Christianity).<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>5<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/span>Regarding the harsh rule of Harun al-Rashid, Thomas W. Arnold notes in his <em>The Preaching of Islam<\/em> what may very well be a timeless observation:<br \/>\n\u201cthese decrees were the outcome, not so much of any purely religious feeling, as of <em>the political circumstances of the time.<\/em> The Christians under Muhammadan rule have often had to suffer for the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">BAD FAITH KEPT BY FOREIGN CHRISTIAN POWERS<\/span> in their relations with Muhammadan princes, and on this occasion it was the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">TREACHERY OF THE BYZANTINE EMPEROR, NICEPHORUS, that caused the CHRISTIAN NAME TO STINK<\/span> in the nostrils of Harun. Many of the persecutions of the Christians in Muslim countries can be traced either to <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">DISTRUST OF THEIR LOYALTY, EXCITED BY THE INTRIGUES AND INTERFERENCE OF CHRISTIAN FOREIGNERS AND THE ENEMIES OF ISLAM, OR TO THE BAD FEELING STIRRED UP BY THE TREACHEROUS OR BRUTAL BEHAVIOUR OF THE LATTER TOWARDS THE MUSALMANS\u201d<\/span>\u2013(pp. 76-77. <span style=\"color: #800080;\">This is perhaps true today also).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>the Prophet Mohammad preached against karma and reincarnation which have no Divine foundation and are not conducive to reason and brought against him the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201chand\u201d<\/span> of the Hindus. (See quote above from Muhammad Ali).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>the Prophet Mohammad preached against Jews violating their covenant with God and brought against him the \u201chand\u201d of the Jews.<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>6<br \/>\n<\/sup><\/span>From the advent of Islam Jews have been inimical towards Mohammad\/Islam. In order to dissuade Muslims from following Islam, Jews feigned acceptance of Islam then apostatized, expecting Muslims to follow their lead and abandon Islam,<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>7<br \/>\n<\/sup><\/span>M.H. Haykal notes, \u201cThe Jews sent some of their rabbis to feign conversion to Islam in order to enter Muslim ranks and councils. While showing all piety, these rabbis were commissioned to disseminate doubt and suspicion of Muhammad among his own people. They asked Muhammad questions which they thought might shake the Muslims\u2019 conviction and arouse doubt in the Message Muhammad was teaching. A number of hypocrites from al Aws and al Khazraj tribes joined Islam for the same purpose \u2026The Muslims soon detected their purpose and uncovered their attempts.\u201d<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>8<\/sup><\/span><\/span><br \/>\nUpon Mohammad\u2019s arrival at Madinah, Jews, \u201cafter befriending him and pledging to honor his freedom to practice and preach the new religion, they had begun to oppose and plot against him. In fact, no sooner had Muhammad settled down and the prospects of Islam had begun to improve, than the Jews, for their part, began their undeclared war against him. Their opposition and hostility were never open;\u201d<sup><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">9<\/span> <\/sup><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(perhaps this is so even today).<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\nJews were so hostile to Islam\/Mohammad they even denied God. When asked by the pagan Arabs whether Islam was better than paganism:<br \/>\n\u201cThe Jews answered by giving\u00a0 preference to Makkan religion over Islam\u2026.This attitude of the Jews toward Quraysh and the favouring of the latter\u2019s paganism over the monotheism of Muhammad was the subject of a severe rebuke by Dr. Israel Wolfenson, who wrote in his <em>The Jews in Arabia<\/em>:<br \/>\n\u201cIt was the duty of the Jews not to allow themselves to get involved in such a scandalous mistake. They should have never declared to the leaders of Quraysh that the worship of idols was better than Islamic monotheism even if this were to imply frustration of their requests. The Jews, who have for centuries raised the banner of monotheism in the world among the pagan nations, who have remained true to the monotheistic traditions of the fathers, and who have suffered throughout history the greatest misfortunes, murders, and persecutions for the sake of their faith in the One God should, in loyalty to this tradition, have sacrificed every interest \u2013nay their very lives\u2013 to bring about the downfall of paganism. Furthermore, by allying themselves with the pagans they were in fact fighting themselves and contradicting the teachings of the Torah which commands them to avoid, repudiate \u2013indeed to fight\u2013 the pagans.\u201d<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>10<\/sup><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thus, contrary to Christian (and Jewish) perception, the statement that Ishmael\u2019s hands will be against every man is not a derogatory expression, but one of honor, calling on man to return to Divine Guidance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Even if we take Ishmael\u2019s <span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201chand\u00a0shall be\u00a0against every man, and every man\u2019s hand against him\u201d<\/span> to be literal fighting. It would be a statement of honor.<br \/>\nAs stated, Prophet Mohammad\u2019s duty (and Muslims) was\/is only to deliver the Divine Message of the Qur\u2019an, not enforce it. And the Prophet\u2019s and early Caliphs wars were only defensive. <span style=\"color: #800080;\">(Muhammad Ali has dealt at length on this in his book <em>Early Caliphate<\/em>, obtainable from<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.muslim.org\">www.muslim.org<\/a>.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #800080;\">Also Muhammad Husayn Haykal, <em>The Life of Muhammad<\/em><\/span>).<br \/>\nAnd in modern times, rather than Ishmael\u2019s hands being against others first, it is the hands of others that were\/are first against Ishmael.<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>11<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>After promising Arabs\/Muslims independence to join them in defeating the Ottomans, Britain, France and Russia turned treacherous and in their <em>Sykes-Picot<\/em> document divvied up the Middle-east to suit their interests<\/li>\n<li>Britain sliced Jordan out of Syria and carved Kuwait out of Iraq;<\/li>\n<li>France carved Lebanon out of Syria and placed it under Maronite Christian domination;<\/li>\n<li>Britain held Egypt, Sudan, Aden, Iraq and Nigeria;<\/li>\n<li>France mastered over Algeria <span style=\"color: #800080;\">(killing one million),<\/span> Tunisia, Morocco and Sudan;<\/li>\n<li>Italy held Libya;<\/li>\n<li>British instigation and American diplomatic thuggery at the then League of Nations stole <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/nogodbutallah.org\/?page_id=149\">Palestine<\/a><\/span> and gave it to Jews; and for more than six torturous decades have supported this grotesque obscenity, while Jews not only commit atrocities against Palestinians but continue to steal more Palestinian\u2019s lands.<br \/>\nSince its illegal creation<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><sup>12<\/sup><\/span> so-called \u201cIsrael\u201d has been gobbling up Palestinians lands left, right, and centre like a bottomless belly. As Ismail Zayid notes in his <em>Palestine\u2013A Stolen Heritage:<br \/>\n<\/em>\u201cNot only did the Israelis refuse to allow the return of the (Palestinian) refugees to their homes, but they consummated the tragedy by seizing all their property in one of the greatest acts of plunder in modern history. The confiscation of Arab land was not confined to the holdings of the refugees but extended to the 200,000 Palestinians, who remained in their homes in 1948, by a series of extraordinary laws and regulations of legalized robbery. These included \u201cThe Land Acquisition Law,\u201d \u201cThe abandoned Areas Ordinance, 1949,\u201d (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cAbandoned\u201d or kicked out?<\/span>) \u201cThe Absentee Property Regulations, 1948\u201d<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> (Isn\u2019t this a doozy\u2013you are refused entry into your country then you are called an \u201cAbsentee\u201d)<\/span> and others.\u201d (p. 15).And Professor Edward Said gives a chilling account of this Jewish barbarity in his scholarly presentation <em>The Question of Palestine <\/em>(pp. 105-106):<br \/>\n\u201cUntil 1966, the Arab citizens of Israel were ruled by a military government exclusively in existence to <strong><em>control, bend, manipulate, terrorize, tamper with every facet of Arab life from birth virtually to death.<\/em><\/strong> After 1966, the situation is scarcely better, as an unstoppable series of popular riots and demonstrations testify; the <strong><em>Emergency Defense Regulations were used to expropriate thousands of acres of Arab lands,<\/em><\/strong> either by declaring Arab property to be in security zone or by ruling lands to be absentee property (even if, in many cases, the absentees were present\u2013a legal fiction of Kafkaesque subtlety). Any Palestinian can tell you the meaning of the <strong><em>Absentee\u2019s Property Law <\/em><\/strong>of 1950, the <strong><em>Land Acquisition Law<\/em><\/strong> of 1953, the <strong><em>Law for the Requisitioning of Property in Time of Emergency<\/em><\/strong> (1949), the <strong><em>Prescription Law<\/em><\/strong> of 1958. Moreover, <strong><em>Arabs were and are forbidden to travel freely, or to lease land from Jews, or even to speak, agitate, be educated freely.<\/em><\/strong> There were instances when curfews were suddenly imposed on villages and then, when it was manifestly impossible for the working people to know of the curfew, the \u201cguilty\u201d peasants were summarily shot; the most wantonly brutal episode took place at <strong><em>Kafr Kassim in October 1956, in which 49 unarmed peasants were shot by the frontier guard,<\/em><\/strong> a particularly efficient of the Israeli army. After a certain amount of scandal the officer in charge of the operation was brought to trial, found guilty, and then punished with a fine of one piaster (<strong><em>less than one cent<\/em><\/strong>).\u201dEdward Said also notes from Moshe Dayan a so-called \u201cIsraeli\u201d army general as stating:<br \/>\n\u201cWe came to this country which was already populated by Arabs, and we are establishing a Hebrew, that is a Jewish state here. In considerable areas of the country [the total area was about 6 percent] we bought the lands from the Arabs. Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">You do not even know the names of these Arab villages,<\/span> and I do not blame you, because <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">these geography books no longer exist<\/span>; not only do the books not exist, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">the Arab villages are not there either.<\/span> Nahalal [Dayan\u2019s own village] arose in the place of Mahalul, Gevat\u2013in the place of Jibta, [Kibbutz] Sarid \u2013in the place of Haneifs, and Kefar Yehoshua\u2013in the place of Tell Shaman. There is not one place built in this country that did not have a former Arab population. [<em>Ha-Aretz<\/em>, April 4, 1969.\u201d (p. 14. Highlight added).Edward Said also notes: \u201cOne outraged Israeli, Professor Israel Shahak, who reckons almost four hundred villages were thus eliminated, has said that these villages were \u201cdestroyed <em>completely, <\/em>with their houses, garden-walls, and even cemeteries and tombstones, so that literally a stone does not remain standing, and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">visitors are passing and being told that \u2018it was all desert.<\/span>\u2019\u201d (p. 14. Color added).A while back some so-called \u201cIsraeli\u201d soldiers were honest and courageous enough to expose the treatment meted out to Palestinians \u2013that they can do <em>anything; anything<\/em> they want to the Palestinians. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(Imagine yourself and children living in such a hopeless, vulnerable, and defenseless situation).<br \/>\n<\/span>The <em>Toronto Star<\/em>, Friday, March 20, 2009, <em>Israeli soldiers ran wild in Gaza,<\/em> by Oakland Ross, p. Whereas French intelligence was skeptical about the broadcast, America was seemingly suckered into the ploy. Resulting in the 1986 US bombing of Libya; dropping \u201cover sixty tons of bombs on Libya. The attackers bombed Tripoli international airport, Bab al Azizia barracks, Sidi Bilal naval base, the city of Benghazi, and the Benine airfield outside Benghazi. And killing \u201capproximately forty\u201d civilians, &#8220;including Qadhafi&#8217;s adopted daughter.\u201d <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/freemasonrywatch.org\/libya.html\">http:\/\/freemasonry watch.org\/libya.html<\/a><sup>15<\/sup><\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(Isn\u2019t this \u201cIsraeli\u201d act a war crime?)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Clearly, no one would accept such transgression against himself\/herself.<br \/>\nClearly, to raise your \u201chands\u201d against such violations can hardly be deemed \u201cderogatory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, in addition to His promise to Hagar to give her a son with a multitude of offspring, God restated this promise to Abraham:<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201cAnd as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold I have <strong>blessed<\/strong> him, and will make him <strong>fruitful,<\/strong> and will multiply him exceedingly; <strong>twelve princes <\/strong>shall he beget, and I will make him a <strong>great nation<\/strong>\u201d\u2013(Genesis 17:20).<\/span><br \/>\nIt would be poor cerebration to entertain that God would give Ishmael as a <strong>promise<\/strong> to Hagar\/Hajra and Abraham, <strong>bless<\/strong> him, make him <strong>fruitful, <\/strong>give him<strong> twelve princes <\/strong>and make him a <strong>great nation<\/strong>\u00a0and decree him to do evil in the world (or if Ishmael would do evil in the world)<span style=\"color: #800080;\">.<br \/>\n<\/span>It would be doubly infantile to cerebrate that God would give all these lofty blessings to Ishmael if <span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201cHis hand\u00a0shall be\u00a0against every man, And every man\u2019s hand against him,\u201d<\/span> was not an honorable crown.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ishmael\u2019s <span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201chand\u00a0shall be\u00a0against every man, And every man\u2019s hand against him,\u201d<\/span> could not be a \u201cgreat\u201d thing if this statement was one of derogation. Derogation is not a \u201cgreat\u201d honor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arguably. In the crude sense of the expression <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cHe shall be a wild man; His hand\u00a0shall be\u00a0against every man, And every man\u2019s hand against him.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\nAs evidenced above, not only are the non-Muslims \u201chand\u201d against Ishmael\/Muslims, but <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">it is the Christians\/non-Muslims who are behaving like a \u201cwild ass of a man.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regarding the Christian mistranslation of the Hebrew word from \u201cplentiful\u201d to \u201cwild ass\u201d Prof. Abdul Ahad Dawud B.D. <span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2013\u201cthe former Reverend David Benjamin Keldani, B.D., a Roman Catholic priest of the Uniate-Chaldean sect\u201d\u2013<\/span> notes that while Sarah was yet barren, God promised Abraham a son. With Sarah\u2019s consent, Abraham married Sarah\u2019s maid, Hagar\/Hajra. When Abraham was 86 years old, Ishmael was born to him and Hagar\/Hajra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAbraham, at his ninetieth year of age, Ishmael, and all the male servants, are circumcised; and the \u201cCovenant\u201d between God and Abraham with his only begotten son is made and sealed, as if it were with the blood of circumcision. It is kind of treaty concluded between Heaven and the Promised Land in the person of Ishmael as the only offspring of the nonagenarian Patriarch. \u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When Abraham was 99 years old and Sarah, 90, Isaac was born to them through Divine promise also.<br \/>\n\u201cThe next important event in the history of Abraham as recorded in Genesis (xxii.) is the offering of \u201chis only son\u201d a sacrifice to God, but he was ransomed with a ram whish was presented by an angel. As the Qur-\u2019an says, \u201cthis was a manifest trial\u201d for Abraham (Qur-\u2018an, xxxvii.), but his love for God surpassed every other affection; and for this reason he is surnamed \u201cthe Friend of All\u0101h\u201d (Qur-\u2019an, iv).<br \/>\nThus runs the brief account of Abraham in connection with our subject of the Birthright and the Covenant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are three distinct points which every true believer in God must accept as truths. The first point is that <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ishmael is the legitimate son of Abraham, his firstborn, and therefore his claim to birthright is quite just and legal.<\/span><br \/>\nThe second point is that the Covenant was made between God and Abraham as well as his <em>only <\/em>son Ishmael <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">before Isaac was born.<\/span> The Covenant and the institution of the Circumcision would have no value or signification unless the repeated promise contained in the divine words, \u201cThroughout thee all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,\u201d and especially the expression, the Seed \u201cthat shall come out from the bowels, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>he<\/strong><\/span> will inherit thee\u201d (Gen. xv. 4). <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">This promise was fulfilled when Ishmael was born<\/span> (Gen. xvi.), and Abraham had the consolation that his chief servant Eliezer would no longer be his heir. Consequently we must admit that <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ishmael was the real and legitimate heir of Abraham\u2019s spiritual dignity and privileges<\/span>. The prerogative that \u201cby Abraham all the generations of the earth shall be blessed,\u201d so often repeated \u2013though in different forms\u2013 was <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">the heritage by birthright, and was the patrimony of Ishmael<em>.<\/em> <\/span>The inheritance to which Ishmael was entitled by birth-right was not the tent in which Abraham lived or a certain camel upon which he used to ride, but <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>to subjugate and occupy forever all the territories extending from the Nile to the Euphrates<\/strong>,<\/span> which were inhabited by some ten different nations (Gen. xvii. 18-21). These lands have never been subdued by the descendants of Isaac, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>but by those of Ishmael<\/strong>. This is an actual and literal fulfilment of one of the conditions contained in the Covenant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The third point is that Isaac was also born miraculously and specially blessed by the Almighty, that for his people the land of Canaan was promised and actually occupied under Joshua. \u2026.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2026.The Jews have always been jealous of Ishmael because they know very well that <strong>in him<\/strong> the Covenant was made and with his circumcision it was concluded and sealed, and it is out of this rancour that their scribes or doctors of law have corrupted and interpolated\u00a0\u00a0 many passages in their Scriptures.<\/span> To <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>efface the name \u201cIshmael\u201d<\/strong><\/span> from the second, sixth, and seventh verses of the twenty-second chapter of the Book of Genesis and to <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">insert in its place \u201cIsaac,\u201d<\/span> and to leave the descriptive epithet \u201cthy only begotten son\u201d <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">is to deny the existence of the former and to violate the Covenant made between God and Ishmael.<\/span> It is expressly said in this chapter by God: \u201cBecause thou didst not spare thy only begotten son, I will increase and multiply thy posterity like the stars and the sands on the seashore,\u201d which word \u201cmultiply\u201d was used by the Angel <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">to Hagar<\/span> in the wilderness: I will multiply thy offspring to an innumerable multitude, and that<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Ishmael \u201cshall become a fruitful man\u201d<\/span> (Gen. xvi. 12. <span style=\"color: #800080;\">It is <strong>Muslims<\/strong> whose numbers are <strong>\u201clike the stars and the sands on the seashore\u201d<\/strong>\u2013Gen. 22:17)<\/span>. Now the Christians have translated the same Hebrew word, which means \u201cfruitful\u201d or \u201cplentiful\u201d from the verb <em>para<\/em>\u2013identical with the Arabic <em>wefera<\/em>\u2013in their versions \u201ca wild ass\u201d!\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Is it not a shame and impiety<\/strong><\/span> to call Ishmael \u201ca wild ass\u201d whom God styles \u201cFruitful\u201d or \u201cPlentiful\u201d?\u201d (<em>Muhammad in the Bible,<\/em> pp. 30-32. Emphasis\/color added).<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Man can alter Scripture(s),\u00a0man cannot alter decree of God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(That Ishmael, and not Isaac, was the son Abraham offered in his intended sacrifice is also borne out by All\u0101h God in His Qur\u2019an: Abraham prayed for an heir and is given a son; then he had a vision about him sacrificing this son\u2013(Qur\u2019an 37:100-111), and <strong><em>AFTERWARDS <\/em><\/strong>Abraham was promised Isaac as stated in verses 112-113:\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201cAnd We gave him the good news of <strong><em>ISAAC<\/em><\/strong>, a prophet, a righteous one.
