\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 JESUS\u2013TRANSFIGURATION<\/span>
\n<\/span>Bible authorities explain the Transfiguration to be \u201cthe glorified change in the appearance of Jesus on the mountain in the presence of three of His disciples (Matt. 17; Mark 9), having the effect of impressing them with His Divine nature and convincing them that he was sent by God the Father.\u201d<\/span>1<\/sup><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Five hundred years before Jesus Christ, Buddha was \u201cTransfigured\u201d on mount Pandava in Ceylon:<\/span>
\n\u201c\u201cOn one occasion towards the end of his life on earth, Gautama Buddha is reported to have been transfigured. <\/em>When on\u00a0 a mountain in Ceylon, suddenly a flame of light descended upon him and encircled the crown of his head with a circle of light. The mount is called Pandava<\/em>, or yellow-white colour. It is said that \u2018the glory of his person shone forth with double power,\u2019 that his body was \u2018glorious as a bright golden image,\u2019 that he \u2018shone as the brightness of the sun and moon,\u2019 that bystanders expressed their opinion, that he could not be \u2018an everyday person,\u2019 or \u2018a mortal man,\u2019 and that his body was divided into three<\/em> parts, from each of which a ray of light issued forth.\u201d\u201d\u00a02<\/sup><\/span>
\n<\/sup>Who copied from who? (See also Jesus-Pagan Passion Play<\/a><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n

If Jesus is God as Christians claim, who then \u201ctransfigured\u201d Jesus? God \u201ctransfigured\u201d Himself? God needs to be transfigured? Why does God need to impress men\/disciples?<\/span>
\nAnd if Jesus\u2019 \u201ctransfiguration\u2019 was intended to have \u201cthe effect of impressing them (his disciples) with His Divine nature and convincing them that he was sent by God the Father,\u201d<\/span> it was clearly an exercise in futility. For soon after this stupendous spectacle Jesus was condemning them as being \u201cfaithless and perverse,\u201d and of \u201cunbelief\u201d \u2013Matthew 17:17-20). (And even after witnessing Jesus\u2019 miracles).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

According to the Gospel writers (who were NOT eyewitnesses of the account they penned,\u00a0 see<\/span> Bible corrupt & obsolete<\/a>)<\/span>, at this transfiguration of Jesus, \u201cthere appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus\u2026..\u00a0While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, \u201cThis is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!\u201d\u2013(Matthew 17:1-13).
\n<\/span>One Christian quarter opines that the appearance of Moses and Elijah symbolizes the Law and the Prophets, and God\u2019s voce saying \u201cListen to Him! (Jesus)\u201d<\/span> shows that the Law and the Prophets must give way to Jesus \u2013Jesus is replacing the old; he is the fulfillment of the Law and the countless prophecies foretold<\/a> <\/span>in the Old Testament.<\/span> And his glorified form was a preview of Jesus\u2019 coming glorification and enthronement as King of kings and Lord of lords.<\/span><\/p>\n

That \u201ca voice\u201d from the cloud said, \u201cThis is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!\u201d
\n<\/span>It is rather strange that this \u201cA\u201d voice is taken to be God\u2019s, considering Jesus, who Christians worship as God\/Son of God, says about God: \u201cYe have NEITHER heard his voice at ANY TIME, nor seen his shape\u201d\u2013(John 5:37).
\n<\/span>(Perhaps Satan was having more fun with the Christian\u2019s God\/Son of God, as he had earlier, as the hear-saying Gospel writers said, tempting him in the wilderness\u2013Matthew 4; Mark 1:12-13; Luke 4. God\/Son of God needs angels to \u201cminister unto him\u201d?\u00a0Even though he has all power in heaven and in earth?\u2013Matthew 11:27; 28:18)<\/span><\/span>
\nAnd God has battalions of Sons<\/a> <\/span>and daughters. Some of these sons even came from heaven to husband human daughters: \u201cAnd it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God<\/em> saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives all of which they chose\u201d\u2013(Genesis 6:1-2.<\/span><\/span>
\nStrangely, Jesus conveys that spirits do not have sex -the resurrected person is spiritualized like the angels\u2013Matthew 22:23-30; Luke 20:34-36.<\/span> Thus these heavenly sons of God must also be \u201cspirit.\u201d How then can these \u201cspirit\u201d sons of God have sex with mortal women?)<\/span><\/p>\n

Interestingly, whereas Matthew had nothing to say about what Jesus, Moses and Elias were \u201ctalking\u201d about, Luke conveys that they talked of Jesus\u2019 \u201cdecease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem\u201d\u2013(Luke 9:31).
\n<\/span>But as evidenced by the Bible including Jesus himself (and as All\u0101h revealed in Qur\u2019an 4:157)<\/span> Jesus did not \u201cdecease\u201d at Jerusalem.<\/span><\/p>\n
