JESUS & THE THREE WISE MEN
\nJESUS IN DREAMS\u00a0<\/span>

In his book Muhammad in World Scriptures,<\/i> Vol.1, Abdul Haque has shown that the Zoroastrian Scriptures, Dasatir <\/i>and Zend Avesta<\/i>, contain several prophecies about the Prophet Mohammad. The one most notable in Dasatir<\/i> is that in the epistle of Sasan <\/i>I. Its translation has been summarized thus: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cwhen the Zoroastrian people will forsake their religion and will become dissolute a man will rise in Arabia whose followers will conquer Persia and subjugate the arrogant Persians. Instead of worship\u00adping fire in their own temples, they will turn their faces in prayer towards Ka\u2019bah of Abraham which will be cleared of all idols. They (the followers of the Arabian prophet), will be a mercy unto the world \u2013(Mohammad is a mercy to the world\u2013Qur\u2019an 7:158; 21:107). <\/span><\/i>They will become masters of Persia, Madain, Tus, Balkh, the sacred places of the Zoroastrians and the neighbour\u00ading territories. Their prophet will be an eloquent man telling miraculous things.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The scripture clearly declares that a man will be raised in Arabia, and that he will conquer Persia and the people will pray facing the Ka\u2019ba in Makkah, Arabia. Abdul Haque explains:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cBefore the advent of the Holy Prophet (Mohammad),\u00a0the Zoroastrians had lost most of their scriptures. They\u00a0had deteriorated both in morality and religion, and all\u00a0these facts are clearly recorded in the epistle of Sasan. This was the first sign of the appearance of the reformer.\u00a0The prophecy of his advent was so well-known to the\u00a0Parsis and Magians and they were so anxious about the\u00a0appearance of their redeemer, that they flocked with\u00a0their presents to any place where they heard a reformer\u00a0had appeared. The author of St. Matthew\u2019s Gospel also\u00a0<\/span>heard of this news and in order to apply this famous <\/span>prophecy on Jesus Christ he coined an imaginary tale\u00a0<\/span>and recorded it in the Gospel.<\/span> The author of this Gospel\u00a0is well-known for this peculiar trait. Whatever good news he heard of, he at once applied it on Jesus, and he\u00a0never cared what interpretation he was given to the text\u00a0of an ancient scripture, but he did his best to prove\u00a0somehow or other that the text referred to Jesus Christ. A prophecy of the appearance of \u2018the praised one\u2019 was\u00a0current in Persia, and the Gospel writer having come to\u00a0know of it at once coined a story, without contemplating\u00a0that he was recording many unbelievable things and\u00a0events contrary to actual facts. And the very fact that no\u00a0other Gospel\u00ad-writer has confirmed this story is enough to\u00a0reject it. The author of St. Matthew\u2019s Gospel writes that\u00a0when Jesus was born, some Magians and wise men of\u00a0the East were directed to him by a star; the star went\u00a0before them till it came and stood over where Christ\u00a0was, and thus they came to worship him and offer him\u00a0their presents (Matt. 2:1-11). St. Luke, on the other hand,\u00a0claims to \u2018have perfect understanding of all things from\u00a0the very first\u2019 (Luke 1:3), but he makes no mention at all\u00a0of the Magians having come to Christ or of the star that\u00a0directed them to him, although he makes mention of a petty fact of the shepherds having come to see Christ.\u00a0No star directed the shepherds, the only sign given to\u00a0them by the angel was: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cYe shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger\u201d\u2013(Luke 2:12).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Nowhere else save in the Gospel of St. Matthew is there\u00a0a mention of the Magians having come all the way from\u00a0Persia to present their gifts to Christ or of the star going\u00a0before them.\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dr. Ferrar, in his \u2018Life of Jesus Christ\u2019, writes of these\u00a0contradictions in the following terms:
\n\u201cThere is nothing but a mass of confused and\u00a0contradictory traditions to throw any light either on their rank, their country, their number or their names.\u201d (Dr.\u00a0Ferrar\u2019s \u2018Life of Jesus Christ,\u2019 page 30).<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 This tradition in the Christian scriptures, however, proves that a prophecy of the advent of the Holy Prophet\u00a0was current among the Magians and they were so\u00a0anxiously waiting for the Promised Prophet that even\u00a0their anxiety was known far and near. The author of St. <\/span>Matthew\u2019s Gospel exploited the widespread publicity of\u00a0<\/span>this prophecy and at once applied it to Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/span> (pp.\u00a0139-145).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 As noted, the prophecy states that the Promised Prophet will be from Arabia<\/i>,<\/i> will conquer Persia,<\/i> destroy idols and the people will pray facing the Ka\u2019ba in Makkah, Arabia.<\/i><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus was NOT raised in Arabia, nor destroyed idols, nor did his followers conquer Persia, nor does his people pray facing the Ka\u2019ba. The only prophet born in Arabia who destroyed idols and whose followers conquered Persia and prayed facing the Ka\u2019ba was the Prophet Mohammad<\/i>.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0(Intriguingly. Whereas Luke wrote of angels in the sky\u00a0and sent shepherds to Jesus, we have Matthew, the only\u00a0writer, bringing three wise men from Iran \u2013Persians back\u00a0then\u2013 <\/span>following a star and bringing the babe Jesus gold,\u00a0frankincense, and myrrh. The purpose of these \u201cwise\u00a0men\u201d coming is not revealed; only to bring Jesus \u201cgifts\u201d\u00a0and \u201cworship him;\u201d\u00a0 (intriguing how these Magians knew\u00a0about Jesus\u2019 birth; there was no \u201cstar\u201d or \u201cvirgin-birth\u201d mentioned in the Parsi Scripture).<\/span> <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Perhaps Mark and John could not fathom this star moving some 1400 miles \u2013from Persia to Bethlehem\u2013<\/span> \u201cand came and stood over where the young child was.\u201d
\nOr perhaps (unless Mary and Joseph were holed up in the stable for days)<\/span> <\/i>it seemed incredible that these wise men would be able to travel on camels fourteen hundred \u201cdesert\u201d miles in one night to \u201cworship\u201d Jesus. (They would need V8-camels. And if they were in the stable for days, the star would have to keep appearing on a nightly basis until these wise men reached the house).
\n<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/i>Or perhaps they found it equally incredible that shepherds would be \u201ckeeping watch over their flock by night\u201d (or Magians traveling) on December 25th<\/sup> \u2013in winter, and even with snow on the ground.
\nOr perhaps they saw the narration of this episode as comical and would have no part in it. <\/span><\/p>\n

Even if the prophecy applied to Jesus and he was visited by the three wise men yet this would not make Jesus Divine or vicarious atoner.
\nWhereas Jesus was only a messenger of God sent to the Israelites to call them to \u201crepentance\u201d and \u201cforgiveness\u201d, Christians consigned Jesus to the bed of celibacy, crowned him with Divinity and made him scapegoat for non-existent inherited sin; and whereas David was earthly king Christians make Jesus heavenly king and ruler of future-world. (For inherited sin, Trinity etc;\u00a0 See<\/span> Christianity dupes people<\/span><\/a><\/span>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0JESUS IN DREAMS<\/span>
\nIntriguingly, in life Jesus declared he came only for Jews<\/a> <\/span>and prayed only for them, he regarded non-Jews as dogs and swine \u2013which is the worst of denigrations as dogs and swine are scavengers and regarded as the lowest of creatures\u2013 <\/span><\/span>and preached in parables to keep them out of heaven. Now he is coming as phantom in dreams\/visions to these dogs and swine telling them to worship <\/span>a God Who went into the body of a woman, grew Himself an anus, came out her genital, had man cut His foreskin, ate butter and honey to gain knowledge, grew in wisdom and stature and needed to find favor with man; and blamed and killed the innocent for the guilty.<\/span> Astounding!
\nIs it Jesus these people are dreaming\/seeing or is it Satan? N<\/span>o one knows what Jesus looked like:<\/span> \u201cDuring the first three centuries of the Christian Church, however, there was no Christian art,<\/strong> <\/em>and the Church generally resisted it with all its might\u2026.Only when the Christian Church became the Roman imperial church under Emperor Constantine in the early 4th century<\/strong><\/em> were pictures used in the churches\u201d\u2013(Ency. Brit.<\/em> 15th. Edn; Vol. 4; Art and iconography, p.(501) 502. (Emphasis added)
\n<\/span> No doubt, these \u201cdreamers\u201d are seeing Satan in his vow to stray man from God; as \u00a0he duped Paul <\/a><\/span>into forging his own gospel and duped the Christian Fathers, Athanasius and others, in 324 to invent the Trinity (see Christianity dupes people<\/span>)<\/a>.
\nWithout doubt, people of honest reflection will agree that to put God in the belly of a woman He created and give Him an anus, to pull God out her menstrual passage and circumcise His foreskin is repugnant to Twenty-first Century intelligence.<\/span><\/span>
