\n\tPeace and Blessings of All\u0101h on Mohammad.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDEDICATED TO<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAll\u0101h–the Glorious and the High,<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLord of the worlds<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAND TO<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMohammad–who brought the world<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tto our feet and eternity to our arms.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t*<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMIRACLES<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tJesus, performed miracles through the power of God<\/i>–(Luke 11:20; John 8:28, 11:42; Acts 2:22; Qur’an 3:48). Others also performed miracles: <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n\t\tMoses transformed a stick into a serpent; Moses parted the river–(Exodus 7:10; 14:21)<\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  2. \n\t\tElijah resurrected a child; and divided the river Jor-dan–(1 Kings 17:17-23; 2 Kings 2:7-8)<\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  3. \n\t\tElisha parted the river Jordan; and resurrected a child–(2 Kings 2:12-14; 2 Kings 4:32-36<\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  4. \n\t\tJoshua made the sun and the moon stand still–(Joshua 10:12-<\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \n\t   (A prophet performing miracles or making prophecies does not make him God or son of God; nor make him greater than other prophets. Such miracles and prophe-cies would reflect the greatness of All\u0101h, God, through Whose power the prophet was able to perform the miracles and make the predictions).<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\tEven things performed miracles:<\/i><\/strong><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t-the river Jordan healed Namaan (2 Kings 5:9-14) <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t-Elisha's dead bones brought a dead man back to life (2 Kings 13:20-21)                                                                          <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t-The pool at Bethesda had the power to cure (John 5:2-4)<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t-The statue of a brass serpent had the power to preserve life (Num. 21:8-9)<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t-Balaam’s ass spoke to Balaam (Num. 22:28, 30). <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t-Even False Christ’s and false prophets can perform miracles (Matt. 24:24).<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t–a fire came from heaven and consumed Solomon’s <\/span>burnt offering–(2 Chr. 7:1).<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t-Nostradamus is said to have made prophecies.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t-And it is believed that one days’ supply of oil lasted for eight days:                                                                                             <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t Hanukkah<\/span><\/i>, the Jewish festival of Lights, is based on the Maccabees <\/i>victory over king Antiochus, 164 B.C.E. In rededicating the Temple to God, according to the Talmud one day’s supply of “pure oil” kept the lamp burning “miraculously,” for eight days. <\/span> <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t <\/i> However, the Books of the Maccabees<\/i> are considered by some to be “apocryphal;” and have been expunged from some Bibles. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t   (The Talmud<\/i>, “a compilation of ancient teachings,” created by “rabbis” were “vigorously” opposed by “sig-nifcant Jewish groups and individuals.” The Karaite sect of the 8th century “refuted the oral tradition and denoun-ced the Talmud as a rabbinic fabrication;” and “heretical messianic sects in the 17th and 18th centuries totally re-jected it.” The Church “accused” it of “falsifying biblical meaning*<\/span>, thus preventing Jews from becoming Christi-ans,” and that it “contained blasphemous remarks against Jesus and Christianity and that it preached moral and social bias toward non-Jews.”–(Ency. Brit<\/i>. 15th<\/sup> Edn; Vol. 17, Art; Talmud and Midrash<\/i>, p. 1006).       <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t*<\/span>(It is rather amusing that the Church “accused” Jews of “falsifying biblical meaning” when the Church herself has fuddled with the Bible).  <\/span> <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t   The Qur’an mentions many incidences which may be viewed as miracles–clefting of the moon (54:1-2); All\u0101h helping Mus-lims in the Battle of Badr (3:120-121), and the Prophet’s night journey from Makkah to Jerusalem (17:1). <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t   Miracles, as noted in the Qur’an, are not to induce people to believe in All\u0101h. The clefting of the moon–(54:1-2) was to prove to the disbelievers the falsity of their oaths, that if a sign came to them they would believe–(Qur’an 6:110); yet when this sign did come as in Qur’an 54:2-3, “they turn away and say: Strong enchantment! And they deny and follow their low desires.” <\/i>(This clefting of the moon would seem to be a vision, given only to those people to whom it was directed). <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t   The only miracle the Prophet Mohammad claimed to bring was the Qur’an. In the words of Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din: <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t“The claim of the Qur’an, that it would baffle human efforts to produce its equal, is based on absolute truth. A Book completed in twenty-three years, dealing with every aspect of human life, and yet remaining free from any kind of discrepancy or even a slight variation, is in itself a miracle.” (Introduction To The Study Of The Holy Qur’an<\/i>, p. 47).                  <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t   If performing miracles make Jesus God or son of God, false Christs and false prophets are also Gods and sons of God. That there is no evidence of a false Christ or false prophet performing miracles is irrelevant. That Jesus said they could is evidence that they could. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

    \n\t   As Christians consider Mohammad an “impostor” and as Mohammad brought miracles–(Bokhari Vol, 1, # 170; Vol, 3, # 787) –the greatest of which is the Qur’an–which is still living for the world to behold– this miracle of the Prophet would be evidence to Jesus’ saying that false Christs and false prophets can perform miracles.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
