1.\u00a0 MOHAMMAD WROTE THE QUR\u2019AN
\n<\/span>Who wrote the Bible<\/a>?<\/span><\/span>
\nWho wrote the Vedas of Hinduism<\/a>?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Whoever says Mohammad wrote the Qur\u2019an is in error or trying to mislead; (even if Mohammad wrote the Qur\u2019an, no Scripture can be shown to be superior to it). Mohammad did not know to read or write\u2013(Qur\u2019an 7:158; 29:48; Bokhari Vol. 1, #3). <\/span><\/p>\n

Even if Mohammad knew to read and write he could not have known there are more than one world\u2013(Qur\u2019an 1:1; 7:54; 41:9), that there are living beings on other planets\u2013(Qur\u2019an 19: 93-95; 42:29), or be the author of prophecies and teachings on science (see Qur\u2019an-prophecies<\/a>;\u00a0Qur\u2019an-science<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and videos at end of this presentation).<\/span><\/p>\n

If Mohammad wrote the Qur\u2019an it is the miracle of all ages that statements on science and history coming from the mouth of a Seventh Century unschooled desert dweller have proved true. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 If Mohammad knew to read or write surely there were many in his family and society (and in his forty years prior to his call to Divine Messengership) who must have known that he could read and write. Thus, if Mohammad knew to read and write he would have been exposed as a liar (by his enemies such as his uncle, Abu Lahab, who was a venomous opponent of Mohammad) and even lose his followers when he gave them the revelation that he was an Ummi <\/i>(unlettered) Prophet who had not read or written a book\u2013(Qur\u2019an 7:158; 29:48). <\/span><\/p>\n

But Mohammad was not only free from reproach, even his enemies esteemed him as al-Amin<\/i>\u2013 the Truthful\/Trustworthy.<\/i>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Also, a thousand years before Charles Darwin, the Qur\u2019an taught Evolution<\/i> which no man of Mohammad\u2019s time knew (in Islam Creation<\/i> is not opposed to Evolution)<\/i>.
\n<\/span>It teaches that All\u0101h creates by command and by process\u2013(Qur\u2019an 2:117; 41:11-12; 7:54; 30:11); that All\u0101h created man directly\u2013(Qur\u2019an 38:75); and created animals from water\u2013(Qur\u2019an 24:45).
\nAnd it informs us: \u201cAllah has made subservient to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth\u201d\u2013(Qur\u2019an 31:20; 45:13<\/span>. <\/span>Whose utility can only be possible through scientific knowledge. As one Muslim is noted as saying that to be a Muslim is to be a scientist<\/i>).<\/i> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Four of the ninety-nine Names of All\u0101h God are:
\n<\/span>\u00a0(1) Rabb<\/i>\u2013\u201cthe Originator of things and their Combiner to create new forms. It means the Law-giver, Who frames Laws under which He propounds the shapes which things must assume and the ratio and proportion in which various<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>ingredients must combine with each other. He is the Regularizer, i.e., the Lord Who puts things on the way to perfection<\/span>. <\/span>He<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is the Arranger of the different stages through which they have to pass on their way to completion.\u201d (Ref.<\/i> Qur\u2019an 87:1-3; <\/span>25:2; 54:49).
\n<\/span>\u00a0 (2) Al-Badi\u2019<\/i>\u2013He Who creates out of nothing;<\/span>
\n\u00a0(3) Al-Bari<\/i>\u2013He Who originates things with various faculties in them;
\n\u00a0(4) <\/span>Al-Khaliq<\/i>\u2013He Who combines things in a given proportion to create new things.\u201d<\/span>1
\n<\/span><\/sup>Evidently, Mohammad could not be the author of the Qur\u2019an. (See also\u00a0Creation or Evolution<\/a><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n

If Mohammad wrote the Qur\u2019an he has written the best Book in Scriptural history.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am Allah, the Seeing. (This is) a Book
\n<\/span>which We have revealed to you
\n<\/span>(Mohammad) (that you may) bring forth
\n<\/span>men, by their Lord’s permission, from
\n<\/span>utter darkness into light to the way of
\n<\/span>the Mighty, the praised One;\u201d
\n<\/span>\u201cSay: If you love Allah, follow me:
\n<\/span>All\u0101h will love you, and grant you
\n<\/span>protection from your sins.
\n<\/span>And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful\u201d
\n<\/span>(Qur’an 14:1; 3:30).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

No human invention can give a life in Paradise. Paradise lies in following the Divine \u201clight.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

All\u0101h loves us.
\n<\/span>All\u0101h wants to guide us.
\n<\/span>All\u0101h wants us to be pure.
\n<\/span>All\u0101h wants us to have a life in Paradise.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 WRITING A CHAPTER LIKE THAT OF THE QUR\u2019AN:
\nThere are those who say they have written or can write a chapter like that of the Qur’an.\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0The Qur\u2019an contains 114 chapters with each chapter (except the ninth)<\/span>\u00a0 having a title and begins with the benediction \u201cIn the Name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful.\u201d In Qur\u2019an 2:23 Allah invites the doubters: \u201cAnd if you are in doubt as to that (Qur\u2019an) which We have revealed to Our servant (Mohammad), then produce a chapter like it and call on your helpers besides Allah if you are truthful.\u201d
\n<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0One who wants to meet this invitation\/challenge is to choose one of these 114 chapters of the Qur\u2019an and write an original chapter “LIKE IT” (in Qur’anic Arabic, diction and style)<\/span> giving their chapter a title and benediction.<\/span><\/p>\n
