   POPE SAYS TURKEY GUILTY OF GENOCIDE
In 1915-18 an estimated 1-1.5 million people, mostly Armenians, were said to be killed during Turkey’s war. Pope Francis is reported as saying that the deaths of the Armenians was ““the first genocide of the twentieth century.””1 (The first “genocides” in human history must be those committed by the BibleAnd the Christian/Biblical “genocide” of the human race will continue to the Resurrection as declared by the Christian God/Son of God, Jesus: “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a SWORD”–(Matthew 10:34), “I am come to send FIRE on the earth”–(Luke 12:49. Please note: This is the Christians Jesus; for the Muslims Jesus read the Qur’an).
The Pope also urged the world to recognize this killing as “genocide.” (This is the same as calling people to blind faith; to follow doctrines as truth without verifying that they are clearly-expressed Divine Revelations).
The Pope also said, as the report notes: “Concealing or denying evil is like allowing a wound to keep bleeding without bandaging it.” (Though the Pope himself seems to be engaged in “evil;” “Concealing” the fact that Jesus Christ did NOT die on the cross. See Appendix at end of footnotes).

Apart from the Pope, it is said that many historians regard this killing of Armenians as “genocide” (what about the other historians); a number of countries also recognize the deaths as “genocide” (perhaps these governments were influenced by special-interest lobby groups; one source notes, rightly, that this is a matter for historians not politicians).
The Jewish Anti-Defamation League also views this killing as “genocide.”3 (Does the Jewish Anti-Defamation League also view the killing and atrocities against Palestinians as “genocide”?)
Turkey says the Armenians were victims of war.

In contrast to the above views, according to the “Position of the United Kingdom”: “Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have formally recognised the Armenian genocide. However the position of the Westminster government in 2007 was that it condemns the massacres, but did not find them qualified enough under 1948 UN Convention on Genocide to call them genocide and did not believe the UN Convention rules could be applied retroactively.[113]4
and the “Position of Australia[edit]”: “Australia does not view the events at the end of the Ottoman Empire as a genocide.[118] Australia is one of the countries who were in war against the Ottoman Empire at the time of the events, notably during the Gallipoli Campaign.””5

In addition, a contributor on the Internet notes a book “The Armenian Massacres in Ottoman Turkey: A Disputed Genocide” by Guenter Lewy, that “Of particular note is Lewy’s interest in the work of Vahakn N. Dadrian, an American sociologist, who is considered by the Armenian camp to be one of the preeminent writers on the Armenian genocide today. […] Lewy systematically examines the sources cited by Dadrian and finds that the latter frequently misrepresented and misquoted sources or failed to include important contextual information. Lewy contends that the implications of Dadrian’s dishonesty cast doubt on the veracity of many of his assertions regarding the existence of a historical case proving genocide. […] This is an important book because it presents a much-needed corrective to the one-sided view that many have of the Armenian deportations and massacres” “For calling genocide, it is needed to have a look at the definition of genocide which is mostly accepted to intention to annihilation of one group. To use or say genocide for an event it has to involve an intention of annihilation. In the Armenian case the main aim was not based on the intention of Armenian annihilation. The only thing was deporting· the Armenians from some places only for security purposes, because the Armenians became a big problem for the Turks during World War I with the rebellions and armed guerillas inside the country.”6

Another contributor points out: “Armenians were moved because they were helping the Russians and the French, the enemy. If they hadn’t been moved, there would be no Turks today. For Turks, it was a fight for survival against 20 countries, plus Armenians. Ottoman casualties in Gallipoli alone were 250,000 and that was just one battle and that was just the military casualties. Ottomans had been fighting Russians and Russian Armenians for 100s of years prior to WW1, during which the Tatar nation (a Turkic people) was wiped off the map.”7
(While this is not to support killing of innocents and/or ethnic cleansing such as in the case of Muslims in Myanmar/Burma and the Central African Republic and Christians and Yazedi’s in Iraq.
As noted, Turkey was besieged on the outside by “20 countries” and on the inside by Armenians who may have been hoping to realize their dreams of an independent homeland in Turkey as promised them by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson
–see Internet, “Tall Armenian Tale: The Other Side Of The Falsified Genocide, Woodrow Wilson; Rabbi Wise & the Armenian Mandate;” After Taner Akcam’s News: A Message from Holdwater.

Turkey’s justification in preserving the integrity of her borders becomes more pronounced when viewed against the practice of later nations
–Britain traveled halfway around the globe to unseat Argentineans from the “disputed” Falklands Island;
-America is flying thousands of miles away to Yemen, Pakistan and Afghanistan to pre-empt “terrorists” from reaching her land [obliterating hundreds if not thousands of innocents];
-and Canada interred tens of thousands of its Japanese citizens into POW camps during World War II and confiscated their properties and even deported some, all for a war that was fought by others and thousands of miles away from her border.
In contrast to Turkey whose enemies were on her soil and faced with obliteration and dissection).

Given such contradictions –the Westminster’s government’s observation that the killing did not qualify as “genocide” and the Internet’s contributor’s entry from Guenter Lewy’s book that the killing does not constitute “genocide” and his findings that materials were “misrepresented and misquoted” “or failed to include important contextual information”– how can Turkey be charged as having committed “genocide”?

What motive(s) could Pope Francis have for dabbling in a dubious matter? Seems the Pope’s claiming that the deaths of the Armenians was “genocide” and his calling on the world to declare it as such is founded on religious sentiments than on historical evidence.
It is not “holiness” to don the robe of a “propagandist”: “Keep thee far from a false matter ….for I will not justify the wicked–(Exodus 23:7).
As a man of God (supposedly), Pope Francis needs to prove that Armenians were victims of “genocide” or recant his statement. This is dignity and maturity. And Godliness.

While many have sounded the “genocide” foghorn against Turkey, others have shown there is no evidence to support this claim.(http:// www.tallarmeniantale.com/index.htmhttp://www.tallarmeniantale.com/holdwater-message.htm).

Unlike Jews “genocided” by Germany and Bosnian Muslims “genocided” by Serbia, Armenians were victims of war in which they sided with the Russian-enemy, expecting Turkey to disintegrate and to establish their home-land. Read and draw your own conclusion.
Seehttp://www.tomatobubble.com/id107. html where it is stated that one of the “Globalist-Zionist New World Order” plan was to to take Palestine away from the Ottoman Turks & Arabs;” and that during and after the war “atheist “Young Turk” leaders take advantage of the fact that both Russia, and the Turkish Sultan, are now unable to protect the Orthodox Christians of the Ottoman Empire. A policy of mass killings, burnings and deadly forced marches kills off most of the Armenian population of Turkey. Orthodox Assyrians and Greeks are also murdered by Rothschild’s “Young Turks””.

Since Armenians (and others) were killed by “Rothschild’s “Young Turks”” so as to wrestle Palestine from Turkey, why then is Turkey cited for ‘genocide”? This is like saying Turkey carried out “mass killings” to wrestle Palestine from herself so Jews can have Palestine for their homeland.[???]

Some may argue that “Rothschild” was behind this “genocide”. The site also notes the machinations behind the blowing up of the British ship “Lusitania” by Germany, sucking America into the war.
Seems the deeper one delves into this murky cesspool of intrigue and politics the clearer it becomes that there was no “genocide” by Turkey.

Given this landscape of contradiction as to whether the Armenian “genocide” is fact or fiction, perhaps the only way forward for Armenians and Turks is for them to let this dark episode in their history “rest in peace” and join together, alternately in Yerevan and Ankara or Istanbul, to honor the memory of the innocent ones (including the innocent ones on board the ill-fated “Lusitania”) and content themselves with the knowledge that the sordid wretches involved in this monumental and grotesque obscenity have returned to the Creator and hopefully are already in Hell sqirming and squealing (and will squirm and squeal for all eternity) for their savagery.

Notably, Turkey was also accused of enslaving Armenian girls. But as Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din wrote in his Open Letters to the Bishops of Salisbury & London, this claim was mere “propaganda” to garner support against Turkey. Khwaja Kamal-ud-Din wrote to the Bishops:

“I cannot conclude the subject (slavery) without saying a few words as to “The White Slave Traffic Market” alleged to exist somewhere in the lands of the Turks. The fact is, of course, that no such market exists there, and this statement I desire to emphasize. A century ago London used to be a popular market for negro slaves, and it began to revert to its old tradition in the early years of the present century–(20th century). This time, the victims of the trade were the English girls. The trade was carried on clandestinely, and without the knowledge of the unfortunate girls, who, under varying pretences, were enticed on board ships that carried them to far-off continents…..I used to hear and read about it with horror in 1912, and it surprised me that the Church did not raise its voice against it. But the war came with its sweeping insistence to claim all our attention. I wonder if the ignoble traffic has come to an end, though attention has been diverted from it to another channel, and we are told of a white-slave traffic in Turkish lands with Armenian girls as its victims. Nothing is impossible on this earth of God, but the very mention of the Armenian name –and that to substantiate some alleged Turkish atrocity– divests the charge of its claim to command any serious attention. This race, used as a cat’s-paw by the European, must have perished by this time, and become a thing of the past, if the stories of their slaughter by the Turks had been true; but they proved to be propagandists’ fiction, produced by Christian writers to blackguard Turkey….Let a Christian conscience slumber in face of the most inhuman and flagrant atrocities to which Muslim women and girls were subjected by the brutal Greek in Anatolia and Smyrna in I922; let the Church of Christ remain callous to the inhumanities of a Christian general in Amritsar (India) in 1919, but a Muslim conscience must condemn every kind of atrocity from whatever person and against whatsoever quarter it may come.

But many men of position have challenged Your Lordship to prove your allegation concerning the 30,000 Armenian girls in Turkish slavery. Among them Dr. Walter Walsh and Madam Adnan {Halide’ Edib Hanoum)5, and in this respect you have not, as yet, now acquitted yourself too well. You rely on the report of the League of Nations. But that hardly helps you. It speaks only of so many thousands of homeless Christians in the land of the Turks6. It is quite possible –a natural consequence of the war. It does not speak of harems and slavery. It may be that some of the Turks, out of their usual kind-heartedness, gave shelter and a home to some of these homeless people, or took them into their service. That does not mean slavery. It is, however, an old habit of anti-Turk propagandists to pervert facts and to misrepresent them. But you, My Lord, are not one of these; you must be above their level; your fault perhaps is that you rely on others and accept hearsay as proved fact.

    6 SIR, –In your issue of December 19 a report appears of the lecture given by Halide Edib Hanoum at a meeting of the Near and Middle East Association held in London on Thursday, December 17. This Turkish lady is reported to have said that there was “no truth at all in the story” regarding the 30,000 Christian girls who, according to the Bishop of London, had been forced into Moslem households.  We may, of  course,  be very simple folk in Britain, but I venture to think that we are not quite simple enough to believe that the impartially compiled documents issued by the League of Nations which give the facts should be ignored because one Turkish lady happens to say that there is “no truth at all” in the Bishop of London’s statement. In support of the Bishop of London’s statement I will quote from just two documents published by the League of Nations. Document A 35, 1921, IV. States:-

Approximate number of Armenian orphans still in Turkish institutions and homes:–

Unoccupied areas  ….       60,750
Occupied areas  …  ..     12,600                                          73,350

Document A 28, 1922, III states, referring to Miss Jeppe’s Interim Report for January 26, 1922 :–

Miss Jeppe then estimated there were from five to six thousand Armenian women and children in Moslem houses within the French zone of occupation, not including Nisibin, and she now believes (belief not fact) that there are still at least thirty thousand Armenian women and children in Moslem hands in the whole region accessible from Aleppo. This does not include the provinces of Diarbekir and Kharpout, into which there has been within the last year a very large influx of Christian deportees from Anatolia, and especially from the Black Sea littoral; nor yet Cilicia, where an unknown number of Armenian survivors from Hadjin, Cis, Zeitun, Marash, and Aintab are still to be found. (There is no mention of harem or slavery).
Yours, etc., CHURCHMAN.”

1. Toronto Star, Monday, April 13, 2015. “Pope calls Armenian slaughter by Ottoman’s ‘genocide’” by Nicole Winfield, The Associated Press

2. The first “genocide” was committed by the Bible. Here is what God (and as Christians claim that Jesus is God, here is what Jesus) commands:

“Then the Lord spake unto Moses, saying…And they warred against the Midianites, as the Lord commanded Moses, and they slew ALL THE MALES….And they brought the CAPTIVES and the prey and the spoil to Moses, and Eleazar…And Moses said unto them…Now therefore kill every MALE among the LITTLE ONES (of the captives), and kill EVERY WOMAN who hath known man by lying with him (to know which woman and girls were virgins Moses and/or the soldiers must have had to physically examine them), but ALL THE WOMEN CHILDREN, that have not known a man by lying with him (virgin girls) KEEP ALIVE FOR YOURSELVES…And the Lord spake unto to Moses, saying, Take the sum of the PREY (BOOTY) that was taken, both of MAN and of beast, thou and Eleazar …And divide the PREY into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation And LEVY A TRIBUTE UNTO THE LORD….And the BOOTY, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught was 675,000 sheep, 72,000 cattle, and 61,000 asses, and of WOMEN that had not known man by lying with him (virgin girls), were 32,000. And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was 337,500 sheep; 36,000 cattle, 30,500 asses, and 16,000 persons (virgin girls. And of the congregation’s half portion of these 16.000 virgin girls, 320 were given to the Levite priests, as “the Lord commanded Moses.” And the LORD’S TRIBUTE (of the (booty) was 675 sheep; 72 cattle; 61 donkeys; and 32 persons ….the men of war had taken SPOIL (BOOTY), EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF” –(Numbers 31:17-18, 25-53).

“thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them, thou shalt make no covenant with them, NOR SHEW MERCY UNTO THEM”–(Deut. 7:1-2).

“And stay ye not, but PURSUE AFTER YOUR ENEMIES, and SMITE THE HINDMOST OF THEM; SUFFER THEM NOT TO ENTER INTO THEIR CITIES: for the LORD YOUR GOD hath delivered them into your hand;” “and Joshua called for all the men of Israel…Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings…And afterward JOSHUA SMOTE THEM, and SLEW THEM, and HANGED THEM on five trees.” “So Joshua SMOTE ALL THE COUNTRY of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and ALL THEIR KINGS: HE LEFT NONE remaining, but UTTERLY DESTROYED ALL THAT  BREATHED, as the LORD GOD of Israel commanded…And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the LORD GOD of Israel fought for Israel;” “And they UTTERLY DESTROYED ALL that was in the city, both MAN AND WOMAN, YOUNG AND OLD, AND OX, AND SHEEP, AND ASS, with the EDGE OF THE SWORD”–(Joshua 10:19, 24, 26, 40-42; 6:21. Read Joshua chs. 10-12; Numbers 21:24, 35; 31:17-18; Deut. 20:16-17; 1 Sam. 15:2-3, for slaughters by Joshua, Moses, and Saul).

“Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath REBELLED against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their INFANTS SHALL BE DASHED IN PIECES, and their WOMEN WITH CHILD SHALL BE RIPPED UP”–(Hosea 13:16).

Regarding the Christian Crusades. The first Crusade was launched in 1096 by Pope Urban II. Christian massacre of Jews and Muslims of Jerusalem in 1099 is a historical fact: “All Muslims, men, women, and children, as well as Jews, perished in the general slaughter that followed”–(Ency. Brit. Art; Crusades, p. 300). And Muhammad Husayn Haykal points out in his book The Life of Muhammad: “From the dawn of Christianity until today every country of the world has been soaked with blood in the name of Jesus Christ.” (p. 213).

APPENDIX
JESUS DID NOT DIE ON THE CROSS

Scientific investigation on the Shroud of Turin (the sheet in which Jesus is said to have been placed after he was taken from the cross) shows that Jesus did not die on the cross. M.A. Faruqui notes from the book Jesus Nicht am Kreuz Gestorben (Jesus Did not Die on the Cross) by Kurt Berna of Stuttgart, Germany, that after carrying out scientific tests on photographs of the Shroud, Kurt Berna submitted the results to the Vatican with his conclusion that the body in the Shroud “was not a dead body, because at that time a free movement of the heart was traceable. The existence of the flowing of blood, its position and its nature which is found on the Holy Shroud furnishes a clear scientific and medical proof that the so-called execution was legally not complete. According to the present discovery the present as well as the past teachings of Christianity are incorrect.” (Italics are Faruqui’s).

But the Vatican did not publish the report; “the Vatican made all sorts of excuses; as apparently its publication would seriously embarrass the Catholic Church and undermine its established doctrines.”(The German Convent Research Committee suggested certain tests be carried out. Stating). “The aforementioned results of the investigation by the German Research Convent and by some other agencies, can only be refuted if the suggested scientific tests are applied…We can safely say that no one and nothing on this earth can refute these discoveries. This is an open challenge by the Research Convent.”

M.A Faruqui notes further: “St. Paul had thought of and adopted the doctrine of Jesus Christ having died on the Cross and being resurrected afterwards, and this became the confirmed doctrine of the Christian Church. (Note well: it is PAUL who taught this. God and Jesus did not reveal/teach this). But the investigations made about the imprints of Christ’s body on the Shroud put the Church in difficulties. Pope John XXIII had made a proclamation on 30 June 1960, which was printed in an issue of the Vatican newspaper, Osservator Romano dated 2nd July 1960, under the title “Complete Salvation through the Blood of Jesus Christ,” in which the Pope informed and directed all the Catholic Bishops to believe and to propagate that the complete salvation of the human race lies through the blood of Jesus Christ, and that the death of Jesus Christ is not essential for this purpose.” (The Crumbling of the Cross, pp. 98-109). (How can salvation be through the “blood” of Jesus Christ when there was no “blood” of Jesus Christ? That “salvation of the human race lies through the blood of Jesus Christ” is the Pope’s/Christian’s teaching; it is NOT God’s teaching; it is NOT Jesus’ teaching).

The Gospels also show that Jesus was not killed:
-Jesus said his sign would be like Jonas. Jonas was alive in the whale’s belly–(Matt. 12:39-40; Jonah 1:17; 2:1-10; if Jesus came to die for sins there was no need for his sign to be like Jonas’, and if he was killed it would not be like Jonas).
-Jesus prayed to be spared from death–(Matt. 26:36-44); his prayers were answered-(Heb. 5:7); prayers of the righteous are always answered–(James 5:16; Psalm 22:24; 34:15-19; John 9:31; Matt. 7:8-9); God always answered Jesus’ prayers–(John 11:41-42). Jesus only seemed dead; this is how God answered his prayers and saved him. In those days no one checked for pulses. Jesus’ followers realized he was not dead, they took “spices and ointments” to “anoint” him–(Mark 16:1; Luke 23:56; 24:1. As Ahmed Deedat points out Jews do NOT anoint their “dead”).

-The Apostles treated Jesus’ resurrection as “idle tales”–(Luke 24:11. They would not do so if crucifixion and resurrection were prophecies).

-After the alleged crucifixion and resurrection Jesus had his disciples examine him to verify he was not spirit, as the resurrected is, but was of flesh and bones: a mortal–(Luke 24:38-39). The resurrected “are (spiritualized) as the angels”–(Matt. 22:23-30. Luke 20:34-36). Jesus had flesh and bones: he was HUMAN;

It is logical to expect that in order to become Pope one must have full knowledge about the history and teachings of Christianity. It is doubtful then that the Pope does not know about this document (which must be in the Vatican’s archives) showing that Jesus did not die on the cross. As a man of God (supposedly) Pope Francis is to investigate, acknowledge and inform the world to the truth that Jesus did NOT die on the cross. Or disprove it. This is the Divine requirement: “God’s anger is revealed from heaven against all the sin and evil of the people whose evil ways prevent the truth from being known” -Romans 1:18, Good News Bible). (See also Jesus-Pagan Passion PlayJesus-inherited sin to ascension).
