In the name of Allāh,
the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Peace and Blessings of Allāh on Mohammad.
Allāh–the Glorious and the High,
Lord of the worlds
Mohammad–who brought the world
to our feet and eternity to our arms.
Blind faith is no passport to Paradise
“Come now, and let us reason together,
saith the Lord;
though your sins be as scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they be red like crimson,
they shall be as wool”
Reason is the door to God
GOD CAN DO ANYTHING
When God informed Abraham that his wife Sarah “shall have a son” Sarah, having passed the age of child-bearing, laughed in doubt. To which God said: “Is any thing too hard for the Lord?”–(Genesis 18:10-14).
One questioner had asked that if God can lift a rock bigger/heavier than Himself?
And in response to the belief that ‘God can do whatever He likes,’ Swami Dayananda Saraswati wrote: “Can God kill Himself?” Or “Can He make other Gods like Himself, become ignorant, commit sins such as theft, adultery and the like? Or Can He be unhappy?” “Can He create another God? Can He die? Can He become ill, ignorant or destitute of knowledge?”1 (If one should reply in the affirmative to these questioners, how can it be proved or disproved?)
The question is not whether God can do a thing or not; the question is would God do anything and/or everything?
If you ask Christians “How could God have a Son when He has no consort?” they readily hold up the scapegoat: “God can do anything.”
The Bible shows that God will NOT do anything. God is “just” and his work and way are “perfect” and He is free of “iniquity:
“He (God) is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he;”
“far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity… Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment” (Deuteronomy 32:4; 2 Samuel 22:31; Job 34:10, 12).
While Muslims believe that Allāh God, is All-powerful, Allāh God, will not do anything. This is made clear from His statement in His Qur’an: “It is not vouchsafed to a mortal that Allah should speak to him except by revelation (as an inspiration) or from behind a veil (as in a dream or vision), or by sending a messenger (as the Angel Gabriel)”–(Qur’an 42:51).
Jehovah’s Witnesses wrote: “The name Jehovah appears some 7,000 times in the original text of the Bible. The meaning associated with the name is I shall prove to be what I shall prove to be.” (Exodus 3:14) God can BECOME WHATEVER HE DEEMS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH HIS PURPOSE.”-(The Man Who Changed The World, pub; The Watch Tower, April 1, p. 6 f/n).
That the name “Jehovah” “appears some 7,000 times in the original text of the Bible” is Christian crockery. The name “Jehovah” is not even mentioned once in the “original text” of the Bible. Fact is Jehovah does not exist.
As God “can do anything” and “can become whatever He deems necessary in order to accomplish His purpose,” Jehovah’s Witnesses (and other Christians) should be following Hinduism with its millions of Gods and Karma & Reincarnation and accept that God ‘became’ Boar and Man-Lion etc; as he “deems necessary in order to accomplish His purpose.”
Surely, if the Christian’s God “can do anything” and “become whatever” so can the Hindu Gods.
In fact the Hindu doctrines of karma and reincarnation –to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction– are superior to the Christian concoction of inherited sin and vicarious atonement which are cruel and unjust, and makes God complicit in murder –that God put one person’s sin onto others attributes injustice to God; and that God had a sinless person killed for sinners makes God doubly unjust and makes Him complicit in murder. (See Jesus-inherited sin to ascension; Jesus-redundant no ransom).
As “God can BECOME WHATEVER HE DEEMS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH HIS PURPOSE” then Jehovah’s Witnesses should be following Mohammad/Islam.
Surely they cannot disprove that God “DEEMS (Mohammad) NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH HIS PURPOSE.”
